Christ Community Health Services: East Jackson Health Center

I have had Dr. Atkinson with my last pregnancy and this one. She is absolutely amazing, I love her and wish I could have had her wish my other pregnancies. She delivered my last one via c-section due to preeclampsia. She did a great job!

A group of great people. I'm greeted with a friendly smile along with respectful communication from the staff members. The medical help I receive from the doctors and nurses is great. I'm not waiting in a room for an hour like with other Walk in clinics.

I’ve had nothing but positive experience with Christ Community & it’s employees! From the receptionist, nurses, lab tech, social worker, PA Glen Weaver & the doctors! They take time to talk to you about your conditions & treatments! Not just hand you a prescription & say come back in 2 weeks if you still got a problem! Anything you need they can’t provide they will find it for you, hearing test, eye test etc.. I highly recommend Christ Community to anyone seeking healthcare! For those who don’t have health insurance, they have a sidling scale fee!

Absolutely one of the best clinics in the area!!! Dr. Larson is an awesome doctor and actually cares and listens to what patients have to say! He was very thorough and caring and did everything he could to help with my visit and even said a prayer for me before my visit was over.....which no doctor ever has done with me! Great Christian clinic and great staff who will treat you with the utmost care!!!! Thank you!!

Best clinic I have been to in a long time although I was not able to see a doctor because I was awaiting the results of a test and I had to wait out in my car I was treated with compassion respect and care.
at the time of my visit I was very stressed out with extremely high blood pressure because I had recently lost two very dear and close family members within a short amount of time what mpressed me not only about the professionalism of the staff was the fact that Cynthia James the doctor although I was not able to see her in person prayed for me over the phone it really touched my heart and made me cry and made me realize that there is still good people in this world thank you so much Christ community health center for being there for the people that are at the low end of the totem pole

They have really help my daughter Chasity Roland . They are angels!!! We need more people like them. Thank you everyone
For the people who has gave 1 star y'all just drug seekers . And I don't blame doctors for not giving drugs .it's ruined people's lifes

Connie first desk receptionist is very sweet and caring. Been having the worst of luck and experience since Cynthia left but Connie will be the reason I return

I was referred to this place by a doctor because of hormone levels being "low". They did blood work September 1st. I received the results through text (idk what any of it meant and still really don't) and they did an ultrasound September 11th. I couldn't make it to my appointment that was scheduled for the result reading and I tried to reschedule. Couldn't get in touch with anyone to reschedule. I've been calling and when they actually answered I got no answers about my results. I've given up at this point. What's the point of trying when they either don't answer the phones or when they do answer they "can't find" the results to things??? This place shouldn't even get one star!

I called in advance and made an appointment the scheduler told me 7:45am was all they had avaliable. I then asked her if I was a couple mins late would I still be able to be seen , she replied with there policy is a 15min grace period . I said ok that fine because I drop my kids off at 7:30 and I'll be there right after . So I arrived in the building at 7:56am my paperwork shows my check in time being 8:12 after the questions and paperwork . I sat in the waiting room until 9:45 took a urine sample and sat in that room until 11am . At 11:30 I walked in the hall way to be rudely told my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 and they were told I just showed up early . Now why in the world would someone show up to an appointment at 8am thats scheduled for 10:30 in the afternoon? I was never told any of this I was checked in and sat out with the rest until called to the back . The time before when I came here I waited a great amount if time to be seen . So at this point I feel like I will have to start going else where. 4hours of my day spent in your office and I still wasn't sent any prescription, nor have I been informed what my urine results were nothing. Very unprofessional and very poor communication amongst your employees.A person should have had the decency to say hey you where late so your appointment was canceled not allowed me to sit and think they have forgotten about me.

I came here once in the past saw the same doctor she was not able to help because she didn’t know anything. Same thing now , same doctor . I came again I’m in pain literally and she told me it was ovulation but the pain is to the point where I can’t walk when I have it. There is clearly something wrong otherwise I wouldn’t have been referred to this place.They couldn’t see my ovary on ultrasound and they were smaller from previous year. She can’t tell me why. She said it’s “ovulation” She didn’t know anything. I call for my results of my test they never pick up the phone and they never called me to follow up. I had to physically come up here just to talk to someone which on top of that took a long time . This is the worse place to come to and I would not recommend they don’t care about your health. They are here just to be here. I will be going somewhere else for another opinion.

They don't follow up on their patients. You will probably get better service and a follow-up at the next window at a fast food..

My experiences here have been nothing but awful but the most recent…
I have been trying for a few days now just to get them to call me in some type of antibiotics because I have the worst sinus infection and have been unable to sleep, breathe, or even eat because my whole face is swelling from all the buildup. My local drs have done what they can but, since I am high risk, they say I really need to get my OB (who is either never there or never calls back) to call some type of antibiotics in for me since they know my situation better.
There have been so many issues here and they have made this whole pregnancy completely miserable for me!! I would HIGHLY recommend going ANYWHERE else other than “Christ” Community in Jackson!! If I wasn’t so far into my pregnancy already, I would switch OBs in a heartbeat!! They NEVER answer calls and yesterday they even responded through text that, “The nurse has 24-48 hours to respond.” What if this was a serious emergency?? I have a 3 year old already, went to a GREAT OB in Savannah, but they are too booked up to take me this pregnancy, unfortunately!!
I absolutely despise the fact I have to see y’all for this pregnancy!! I look forward to having this baby just so I never have to see y’all again!!

would honestly give 0 if i could. they may be better for their regular patients but they’ve literally made me hate my entire pregnancy. the father hasn’t been allowed back not even once due to their “policy” but have seen plenty of others go back. Requested my genetics testing and gender results and they refused to give them to me over the phone after failing to email due to “hipa” but had already told me my genetic results over the phone the same morning. UT is bad but this place is hands down the worst. Definitely won’t be back after my final appointment. Between the staff and the negligent care this place is bottom barrel 🍑

High risk pregnancy and no help. I came in to get a referral and they thought I was there for a pregnancy confirmation even though I explained everything on the phone. Then I was told they can't do anything because my "three miscarriages in the past 9 months were not documented." I can NOT go to the hospital with no insurance and pay thousands of dollars. If I could I'd be at a better baby doctor. When all the places schedule you out three weeks there is no way to get anything "documented." The most they could do was schedule me out in three weeks so come back and get a check up and "go from there to get an ultrasound."
