Jepson Center & Telfair Children's Art Museum is a beautiful modern building in the heart of the historic district of downtown Savannah. It houses a vast collection of paintings, photographs, and installations that we enjoyed exploring during our visit to the city. We highly recommend this museum to art and history enthusiasts who appreciate beautiful architecture. It's worth checking out while you are in Savannah.

We skipped the children's museum but the other galleries were awesome. I'm not sure if any are permanent, but the visiting armor exhibit was top notch and the two local sculptors that were highlighted were very good too.
Tickets include the Owen's house (timed) and Telfair academy.

Jepson Center & Telfair Children's Art Museum is a great place for children of all ages. There is contemporary art on display, a cafe and changing exhibits. While there, we enjoyed seeing "The Age of Armor," an amazing exhibit of incredible armor and weapons from as early as the 1500s. We also had fun in the children's interactive museum space.

Went to visit the Age of Armor exhibit, and it was pretty interesting. I absolutely love the Telfair Center. Your ticket to the Jepson Center includes passes to the Owen House and Telfair Center.

Looking for a mix of modern and older at, then this museum is for you.
One of the latest exhibits is a century of photography; some by famous photographers and some unknown but fabulous.
Two floors with wonderful art.
Loved it.
Accepts NARM cards but is only $23 and worth every thin dime.
Allow for at least two hours

My family and I got free family passes to visit the Jepson and Telfair Museums. We got our pass just in time for "The Age of Armour " exhibit. We enjoyed checking out many of the details i.e. weight and designs. Tickets are a bit pricey but if you can get the family passport it's free. All you need is your library card and maybe an ID.

Children's art museum is small but has neat exhibits. Best geared toward younger crowd. Would love to see more hands on art creation in this area in the future! Used the pass from the library so it was a free visit :)

Be sure to ask for a student discount if applicable. The admission price is for three venues. I made the mistake of not allowing time. However, the admission ticket is valid for seven days. Great place for children. Wear comfortable shoes, lots of walking.

Interesting, upscale museum with several things to see and do. When we purchased this ticket, it also included the museum just next-door as well as a tour of the Owens Thomas House. Figure on 3-4 hours (more if you spend time reading). Well worth the ticket price. A few interactive exhibits as well.

Wonderful museum! Great interactive spots for kids. Love the diversity in the different art styles and mediums. There is a local connection to some of the work. Highly recommend the trip. Paid entry also gives you access to other museums in the area. Locals to Savannah are free on the weekends.

I can not say enough about how great this place is and well worth the price. There are 3 levels, and the artwork is amazing. The best part was the free art class given by a volunteer, which was so sweet and a great teacher. The kids and their parents get to experience a ton of art such as still life, water color, and a fruit table that everyone gets to put their own fruit and name on. We when went it was on a Sunday and even then it was great! So, when you're in Savanah, make it a point to visit. Also, there are 3 house passes you can get to visit, Owen's home and Telfair home, and all are great. The kids enjoyed learning about the history, and each tour guide made it fun for all!

Most of the museum was closed for renovations but the exhibits that were open were well done. Don't miss the children's section. The giant curved interactive LED screen is worth the price of admission.

The exhibits are beautiful and diverse!! Different artists from all around the world, time periods and walks of life were represented. Seeing the joy and pain captured in still moments. Seeing how technology and art create mind bending masterpieces was awesome for me and my son. Definitely recommend! Free weekends through August but please login when you get there it truly helps them to keep the art coming!

This was nice little museum with a variety of art mediums. We caught the last day of the Picasso to Hockney exhibit which was nice. It was quite informative.

We stopped here while we waited to visit the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters. It’s great that there are 3 museums bundled into one ticket.

Huge galleries! There was an interactive exhibit, and all different mediums of art. This stuff was thought-provoking and made me feel stuff, it was awesome. And for $25 you get access to 3 different buildings, which could ask for more?!

Great museum to go in conjunction with the Telfair Museum across the way! Lots for kids and adults to admire and do! Lots of space to roam around, beautiful floor to ceiling Windows with tons of natural light in the space, and some great architecture! And I loved seeing the statue from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil! Would definitely go back!

I've lived here 9 years and didn't realize there were two buildings.... I had a great time, everything was lovely. I wish the play area for the kids was a little better maintained, I'm sure they'd love to be able to experience what they are intended to.

Great spot especially for young kids. 2nd and 3rd floor had interactive Artzeum experiences where kids could build and do art projects.

The building is well designed with natural light pouring in and a very open feel. Small cafe service downstairs. Exhibits had some range and a good amount of digital art. You can spend a nice afternoon here. Highly recommended.
