Amazing! We had no idea this existed. It is a long, flat trail so it would work alternative surface bikes (maybe even cruisers.) Not much shade so the walk would be more comfortable on a cooler/clouding day. Love the history lessons along the way!

I love the linear trail, it isn't all a challenging ride but the history and the sites are nice. I have seen several alligators along the ride. The path from the trail is filled with roots. One thing that would make the linear trail much better would be if it connected to all of Bluffton's other trails.

This is a very biased review. I’m from the area and parts of my family have lived here for a very long time.
The town of Bluffton has done an excellent job with this trail. I’m excited to see what the future expansion brings to the trail. I’ve walked this trail numerous times. It’s on an old railroad bed and is straight (hence linear.) It is a nice hike from ole rice impoundments up through the New River Swamp. I’ve seen snakes and a variety of wildlife on the trail at various times. There are signs posted for educational reasons. Some of the benches, bird houses, and viewing areas could use some serious TLC, but still, the education and views are well worth the visit. It’s absolutely beautiful, and very unique. It’s well worth a visit to ride you bicycles or just walk down. Bring sunscreen and bug spray and watch out for the reptiles. It’s awesome.

It's a great place to walk. Not many people come by, So it can be lonely. It's along a line that a railroad used to run. Along it you will find posts of information of the area from the past. Be careful, as if it has rained, some areas can be a bit wet and soggy. It's a beautiful long trail. I have yet to walk the whole thing though. Someday I will though.

Great trail that's clear of debris but not very crowded. Many times I run here I won't see a single person the entire time. Great place to walk or run your dogs as well.

Wooded trail that runs along an old railroad bed. Around 5 total miles of trail. Smooth terrain and scenic views of marshlands. Usually very few people on the trail

There is a small stream towards the northern part where I've seen baby aligators from the bridge. I also ran into a really cool Little Blue Heron that squawked loudly and flew like a puppet :)
