A really cool spot - $10 entry fee, tons of war memorabilia and the owner is passionate and has some interesting stories and information I’d never heard. A must see if you’re in Savannah.

What a wonderful museum. So much to see and great variety. So much better when a piece has a personal story, often related to the owner and his family. Made us feel very welcome. Such a knowledgeable owner.
Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this small museum. Very convenient placement in downtown Savannah. The attendant was very helpful and kind, and the displays are in chronological arrangement. The number of uniforms and caps that have been acquired for display is really quite amazing, along with the medals and fireams. Pacing is self guided & will take between 30-90 minutes depending on how much time you wish to spend on reading through different display details. Also recommend checking the bathrooms at the back since they also have some cool historical wall displays in there.

I was just here for the first time this afternoon. I was welcomed by “Alice” who knows much about the history within the exhibits. Immediately upon entering, you witness wall to wall military artifacts of various theaters. The nice feature about this particular museum, is how interactive it is. You’re encouraged to touch, try on and explore the items (as long as it’s not in glass or up high). The scavenger hunt list is guaranteed to keep kids entertained. When you’ve walked through the museum once… go through a second time (I did and learned even more!) I recommend the “State Street Parking Garage”, just four blocks away. I highly recommend this museum, you won’t be disappointed!! 👍👍😁🇺🇸

This was by far the best war museum I've ever been to. We spent 3 hours walking around and taking everything in. For it being a small place, he packed it neatly with history. I could have sat for hours and looked through the old WW2 newspapers. There was a lot you could touch, pick up, look through, which was nice. My three teenagers were in heaven looking through the WW2 German stuff, but they have things from every war and before. The oldest thing I saw was a crossbolt from AD70. The owner is super friendly and helpful. He enjoys answering the kid's questions. I would definitely go back to visit and would recommend all my friends and family to hit this place up when in Savannah.

Wow! I am rarely at a loss for words, but this collection is beyond words.
If you have any interest in military history, this private collection with Mr. Webb's explanations (beyond the well labeled items) will keep you in awe. The collection spans centuries with an emphasis on Savannah and WWII. Look for his mother's gas mask from WWII and a cloth napkin from A.H.; the clothing and insignia used to mark the Jewish people brought me to tears.
Mr. Webb also has very interesting things to add about "The Book."
Give yourself a few hours to fully appreciate this one of a kind museum.

A terrific privately owned military museum covering the Revolutionary War up to recent engagements in Iran & Afghanistan. The largest portion is devoted to WW2. One thing you won't experience at other museums is that you may actually touch some (not all) artifacts.

Very neat!!! We really enjoyed visiting the museum as a family! Our boys (7 and 4) loved seeing all the war artifacts and the military uniforms from the decades. It was well worth the visit while in town. Take the time to pop in and walk around! You’ll be amazed by the collection!

Incredible collection of history. HIGHLY recommend visiting if you are anywhere near Savanah, GA. Gary Webb has an incredible wealth of knowledge and passion for sharing his collection’s stories. This isn’t just for adults, my kids loved visiting and said it was their favorite part of our vacation.

A hidden trove of military history. An absolutely incredible collection for any history buff to gawk over. The space is small but the collection is mighty. You will spend way more time here than you'd think reading through the collection. Perhaps the craziest and most impressive part is that one guy collected this all. Including the cockpit of a Mig. You have to check it out. A must-stop if you're in town.

Had a great time at this museum! The owner gave us a speech and sent us to explore. I have to say I don't enjoy military museums yet I have history buffs in the family, so I tend to visit places like this a lot BUT, I had a great time! There was so much to see, you could easily spend 2 hours here and not even realize it. The artifacts were diverse, unusual and some were exceedingly rare. At first I was shocked by how much it cost to get in, but once inside looking around I realized it was a great deal. It's amazing when you realize this is someone's personal collection. And I loved that his story was tied into it as well. There's even a spot in the back for taking selfies with the different military hats. A plus for me was the fact that you could touch some of the items. I will definitely be back with the family!

My husband and I had a wonderful time, this is a must-see stop in Savannah. I’ve been to more than one military museum but none are quite as personal or extensive as this.
Mr. Webb personally greets each of his guests and will share any stories and information about any of the pieces in the museum. He has some really neat items, too. Make sure to take your time with each exhibit.
Mr. Webb is very friendly and very knowledgeable, we loved chatting with him!

As a family who visits many many museums across the country, we are sitting this evening discussing how significant this personal and private collection truly is. Visitors truly feel the personal connection of so many pieces to the owner of the artifacts. One of our sons is active Duty and the other is a WW2 history buff, and both were so impressed that we will be back as often as possible. What a phenomenal collection and what a deep dive into the stories told in this museum.

This place offers an extreme amount of military memorabilia assembled by the owner over the years. He continues to add items all the time. Much of the historical items give you an advantageous glimpse into the lives of the American soldier. I recommend you tour this place and allow at least an hour to become fully engulfed in what is on display. Great place!

For a place soo small, it was truly an amazing experience visiting here. And all from one person's collection. From wars ranging from the American Civil War to Iraqi Freedom, this is hands down has to be the best military museum in the western hemisphere. The owner alone is just a pleasure to talk to as well bring extremely knowledgeable of literally everything he has within the museum and stories he has regarding his family's history dating all the way back to World War 1 are amazing. As a Marine, this is one museum would most definitely recommend to any service member, vet, or just any one who claims to be a military buff.

We had such an amazing time!! This is a private collection that is being gifted to us all. The quality of the pieces were unbelievable. Mr Webb was so lovely!! It was such a treat to hear his family legacy that he so graciously shares with the public. My 13 year old daughter who is a history nut fell in love with this museum. Mr Webb was so kind to share his knowledge with my kids. He went above and beyond to point out different must sees. He even went above and beyond and gifted me with authentic medals that my grandfather was awarded during his time serving in the Air Force. I would have never been able to find these authentic medals myself. And it was such a blessing that Mr Webb was so kind! These medals mean more than he will ever know. This is a MUST SEE if you’re in the Savannah area!!

Was not at all expecting what this museum happened to be. Very small museum but packed with tons of war items, I had to take a couple trips around just to take in everything that this place had to offer. The owner is amazing, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit to this museum, it is well worth your time!
