Just wanted to jump on here an let everyone know that my son is adhd an he doesn’t like his head messed with but he likes this place an doesn’t mind bubba cutting his hair bubba is so patient with him an talks with him the whole time thank you bubba

I've been going here since I was 4 I love the staff theyre always so friendly and welcoming and the shop I like how it's an old fashioned barber shop love this place and will be going there for my next haircut

My husband needed a hair cut and we went and seen Bubba... I will say this.. I will never let anyone else cut his hair!! This guy was amazing.. The atmosphere was every inviting. And he was just very wholesome. Just fantastic!!!!

This place is fantastic. From the deer heads on the wall to the old style barbershop, to the barber himself everything is like an old-fashioned barbershop should be. You walk in, the barber greets you and you take note of who's before you. That's it. You can add comments or requests but the barber usually remembers if you've been there a couple times.
Oh, and they're cash only so you might need to hit an ATM first.

Really good barber. You can tell he has a lot of experience. Was fast and freindly. Wish he was closer to my city of McAllen Texas.

I take my elderly father n law here regularly to get his hair cut. Nice guys, always friendly and quick. They've even offered to come out to our home if or when my father n law is unable to get out anymore. Although we haven't had to take them up on their offer so far, we really appreciate the gesture!

I love going here. I am old fashioned and I love the atmosphere. Picture a barber shop straight out of the 1950's or early 60's which is when I believe it originally opened (think Floyd's in the Andy Griffith Show) and you have the image exactly. The two barbers are super efficient masters of their craft and I have gone to both of them equally, but you can wait for one or the other if you have a preference. The average time per haircut is 10 - 15 minutes max, and that includes a straight razor trimmed line over the ears and plenty of conversation if you are so inclined. This means even if most or all of the 10 -15 waiting chairs are filled, I've never had to wait more than an hour to get my haircut. It is a wonderful slice of American history that is rapidly disappearing, and I will continue to go there as long as it is open just for that reason.

This is one of the best old time barber shops around. I have been going to the same barber for over 40 years. The barbers know you by name and parents bring their kids here for their first hair cuts. I love the atmosphere here. I'm on my 3rd generation of my family using this barbershop which is rare in this day and time.

Good old time barber shop. Not a styling salon or prissy city boy shop. Just a down home MANS old time barber shop. Been on that street over a hundred years, or so I'm told.
Places like this are disappearing quick.
Better get you some now or lose out.
.......p.s....they wont try to sell you some fancy high priced magic snake oil to feed your vanity and their pockets, like many do.
Just expert well cut haircuts, shaves and beard trims.

I started to bring my son here before the covid hit and after everything reopened they had to mandate social distancing so only 6 people are allowed in at a time but they are fast so you won't be waiting long which was awesome. it's not sloppy work either, they give you exactly what you want. it's cash only so hit up an atm and it will be worth it.

Love this place its the only place I get my hair cut at when I'm home. Great guys here, awesome hair cuts from them as well! I always tell people to shoot by Bank Barber Shop when they are looking for a fresh fade!

They have done a wonderful job, the older man has done my dads first haircut when he was a baby, my brothers first haircut and my sons first haircut! Absolutely love how it's so old fashioned and family friendly

Bubba is great. $15 for a haircut, can't beat it. Never a long wait if you go around noon on a weekday.

I have been getting my haircut from 1984 to present. As a matter of fact, I just got a haircut about an hour ago. My son got his first haircut many years ago. The barbers do professional work. I will not even consider going anywhere else.
