Umi Sushi

Excellent and fresh sushi. Orders for pickup are always fresh. The wait when you just stop by and order to go is rarely more than 10 minutes. The prices are reasonable as well. The Uni special was very reasonably priced, fresh, and delicious and that is one that can be tough to get right. Ginger or Jasmine tea here is great when it is cooler outside. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Sushi. Fresh and delicious. I had the Rock and Roll, which is fish wrapped in cucumber and drenched in soy sauce. I also had the delicious soft shell crab which was cooked perfectly. Clean restaurant and excellent service.

I've been a dozen times, I love the sushi and ramen. The staff is also pretty nice. I've tried a lot of the menu and all of it is really good. The place is really nice and clean. The owner is in back making the sushi, he's a nice and talkative guy.

OMG!! Many words but I can not explain the great moment I had today. The food!! The service! The environment! 200% recommended. Definitely I'll be back

Two days ago I went again and it was not a test to put between my first visit ... in short, the place is incredible. What many do not know is that part of the menu and specialties are originated in Las Vegas, where if you go the dish will cost you triple the value. So venture and do not waste the opportunity to eat schicito, quality but at a better price. You will eat fresh and with an authentic and light flavor. And as expected, the best service. Two mega important things: # 1 You have to try the Gyoza and # 2 ask for the waitress Choco, you will be amazed and will explain in detail each dish according to its category. I assure you that I will give you the best recommendation.

It was AMAZING! Our waiter, River, was phenomenal! He was very friendly, patient, and kind to my son. The service was as great as the food. We always come back!

One of the best, authentic Japanese sushi restaurants outside of Japan that I have eaten at and with very reasonable prices. We started off with the edamame. The boiled soy beans were firm, hot, and a little salty, just I always get when I'm in Japan. We had ramen and sushi (the lunch special - 3 rolls). The noodles were firm and the broth was very tasty. The chashuu (roasted pork) in the ramen was very delicious. We also were able to sample the OMG salmon and NY steak (used on the Cowboy roll). The OMG salmon was very good. (If you like sashimi, then ask the chef to sear it less.) This was one of my favorite dishes here. The NY steak was very tender and had a very flavorful sauce. We finished off our meal with hot Oolong tea and tempura fried bananas with honey and chocolate syrup. (Unfortunately, we had to wait for the bananas, but they were very apologetic.) The bananas were crispy outside and hot and soft on the inside. It was only lightly sweet so it was not too sweet as many American desserts are.
The wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times to give us refills and to see if we needed anything else. The sushi chef took the time to answer questions and even followed up by coming by our table to see how we liked everything.
I would strongly recommend giving this place a try.

Nice setting. The service was excellent! The service from our waitress was great. She took the time to explain menu items to us we were unsure of. And also, the food lools exactly as what you see on the menu. We were in awe! Normally, you don't get that now days. I loved the ramen bowl! So so delicious! Price wasn't expensive at all! This is definitely our new sushi restaurant!

Seafood are fresh and 👍 good. It’s very popular and decent decorations. Pink peach trees are pretty

We arrive right at 9pm and even though they were closing in 30 mins, we were made to feel welcome. Out of our 8 person table, 2 ordered sushi, 3 ordered ramen, 1 hibachi and 1 chicken fried rice, as well as appetizers. All the food was excellent and the service was outstanding!

Clean, Fast, and Friendly. The Sushi chefs are amazing here the fish is always fresh, and if you allow the chef to make you something special for you. You will be delighted and surprised. Their Ramen is really rich and creamy, plus the add-ons that are included would make this bowl easily a $15 bowl in Houston. Plus their lunch specials are great.

We have been coming here for a while. Friendly staff and great sushi. Kids love the udon.

Very fresh and very good sushi. The service has been good every time I’ve visited. The wonton ramen is really good for a quick takeout dinner.

If you like asparagus... get the asparagus appetizer! So yummy! I had never had them served like that.

One of the few places I've been to around here that can make good takoyaki, the tiger eye roll is very good as well. Staff was prompt and very attentive.
