I just got my high school diploma yesterday and been waiting on it for over 2 months

Both my kids were National Merit Scholars from this school.

Southwest is place to be all the staff are nice go raiders.

The staff is very supportive, but the student does have to put forth the effort. Every opportunity is available at this school. I've had few complaints during the time my daughter has spent here. The AP and Dual credit courses that were offered to her, allowed her to study at her level. They also provide a lot of incentive for academic excellence. As I write this, she is at UIL Academic competition in Lubbock at Texas Tech. Good Luck Southwest Spelling Team!!

This is my daughter's first year (as of this post) So far, everything seems to be ok. Maybe at a later time, I'll give the other 2 stars, but we'll see.

Ridiculous! The few times I've been required to interact with staff, they have been short, moody, uninformative, and impolite. It's as if their primary goal is to do as little and say as little as possible. There is seemingly no real concern that is expressed for the students or their success. Teachers, so far, have been non-communicative regarding my particular students progress or work. The principal is condescending and frankly, quite rude. My child has attended here for only two and a half months at the time of this post and I am looking forward to moving and getting to a more suitable location. The only positive is that my child's grades have improved dramatically, from failing at a previous school to literally 100's on their report card. Unfortunately, I can only assume this is due to the schools low academic expectations and curriculum.
