Praus Construction was excellent to work with on our new roof and gutters. Chris Parish was a professional sales person that helped make a lengthy process easier and stress free. The new roof and gutters look fantastic and the job was completed in one day. Chris took care of most of the communication with our insurance company and everyone was please when the claim and project was completed.

Our home in McKinney received considerable roof damage during last year’s hail storms. We considered several roofing companies and selected Praus Construction based on their positive reviews and reputation, but mostly because of the trust and confidence we felt with John Pulley. John didn’t disappoint. He guided us through the entire process and took care of all the coordination for roofing, gutters and replacement screens. His internal team worked with our insurance company for the adjustment inspection and was able to negotiate supplemental adjustments. The work was done efficiently and our property was left very clean. John followed up through the end to ensure we were satisfied every step of the way. My roof was around 12 years old when it received significant hail damage from a storm in June 2018. Over the course of the next couple months I researched a variety of roofing companies and ultimately decided to go with Praus Construction. This decision was based on largely positive reviews and the very professional and low pressure inspection process that was lead by Praus representative Travis Ashley. Travis' knowledge and experience with roof replacement made filing a claim and working with the adjuster from my insurance company painless and straightforward. Praus removed my old roof and installed a new one in a single day in August 2018. The crew arrived before the scheduled start time and immediately went to work. They were extremely professional and worked non-stop until the sun went down removing the old roof and installing the new one (including new vents, solar attic fan... etc). They also took the time to thoroughly clean up afterwards, collecting all nails and debris. The new roof turned out great! It looks fantastic and has been put to the test with plenty of rain since the install. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Praus to anyone looking to have a new roof installed. We've been quite distrusting of the roofers in the area. We've heard horror stories about how they would go into the roof and damage the roof just to get the job. I've also been told how the workmanship was poor and that the homeowners were in need odd a new roof in just a few years.

I can't say enough about the job Praus Construction did with our roof. From the start of the claim, Chris was on top of everything. He was always prompt to appointments and met with multiple insurance adjusters. He continued to make sure our damage was fully accounted for. The scheduling was seamless as well. The crew arrived on time and completed the job on time. On top of it, we had sod recently planted and they worked around it. We used Praus for our home construction needs after a 2017 hail storm. First things first, I have yet to work with Praus Construction.
That said, I can attest to Jarrod Kolb who recently joined Praus Construction.
I hired Jarrod when he worked at his previous employer to replace my roof after last years hailstorm.
So here is the deal. I had my roof replaced three years ago (hailstorm) and hired the same roofing contractor that all my neighbors hired (his brother lives down the street) and I, along with many of my neighbors got burned badly from this decision.
I didn’t want to get burned again so I interviewed 6 different contractors.
Jarrod was patient with me and was the only contractor that supplied me up front and without my asking, his license number, proof of insurance, 3 references of homeowners with houses similar to mine and a fair quote. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive.
Jarrod was at my home and walked with the insurance adjuster to make sure all damage was noted. He is an affable guy and doesn’t try to sell or snow you.
Jarrod was at my home when his crew replaced the roof and also determined the source of a leak (never repaired by previous roofing contractor) and fixed it.
His crew left the site clean at the end of the day and did multiple sweeps for nails in the yard afterwards.
Two weeks after the job and Jarrod was paid, I noticed a vent pipe in the attic was knocked loose. Jarrod came out that same day and repaired it.

I fully endorse and recommend Jarrod Kolb. It is my sincere hope that Praus Construction reflects his dedication to customer satisfaction.

When the next hailstorm destroys my roof I will be calling Jarrod. You should too.

Fantastic company. Local as well. They made the process so easy, without any worries or hiccups along the way. None of this would have been possible without Project Manager Scot Campbell who oversaw the details of the roof replacement, ensuring there were no issues. Scot did an incredible job and I haven't had any issues with the roof since. In fact, the new roof is better than the old, high-end builder roof. I would use them again without question. Thanks!

PRAUS & Aaron Gaunt were AMAZING to work with! We've replaced a few roofs and this one was the easiest by far. From working directly with our insurance company to insure we received the proper claim amount, to helping me pick shingle and paint colors, to end of job follow up, everything was painless! The crews working on our house were very conscientious of our property, to the extent that our neighbors did a double take as to whether roofers had actually been there on a particular day. We had an issue with one of our exterior doors and the plantation shutters on the interior whereby Aaron inspected the work, wasn't happy, and had his guys come out for a total re-do. I can go on and on with accolades! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend from start to finish!
