I have known Ben Hatfield my whole life. We don’t align in all of our views however, I still advocated for him during his election and I have not been disappointed. Ben to his core is a good human. He cares so much about this county and if it is within his power to make it safe he will do it. He’s always been fair, kind and respectful. He has no personal agenda other than keeping all of us safe and is one of the few that is elected and actually works for the people who elected him. We are lucky to have him and his family in this city and I am grateful that he is working hard to eliminate crime and repeat offenders. He inherited a back log of cases a mile long and promised to take care of it. He has kept that promise and done even more. Thank you Ben for being who you say you are.

I have known Ben Hatfield for several years and he has always been a very helpful, kind, and professional person. He takes his job very seriously and in my opinion has done a tremendous job for Raleigh County and all of us.

Ben Hatfield, being elected as Prosecuting Attorney is the best thing that has happened to Raleigh County in many years! He is not only a man of his word, he works countless hours and shows how much compassion he has, especially for the kids! I have had nothing but great experiences with Ben Hatfield. He works to bring justice for victims and has been a great impact on our community. Me and my family have the utmost respect for him and what he has done while in office as the prosecuting attorney.

My Name is Carl Washington.I was a victim of a murder of my Moter in 2014 when Mr. Hatfield took over and helped solve the case and has help me in any way he coulf and helped me keep the suspect behind bars. Me being retired in Law Enforcement know how hard sometimes prosecuting someone yakes time, but he had done an excellent job. I dont live in Beckley anymore but my mom did and I truly thank Mr Hatfield for his work on this case.We didnt get what we wanted but we got but enough to be be greatly thankful.Mr Hatfield is an outstanding person who take his job seriously and I just wanna say thank you for what you have done for me and my family.May God continue to bless you both now and forever.

Ben Hatfield saved my life. I was not in a good place and in active addiction. He sent me to prison. And it was exactly what i needed. I was given many chances and opportunities but blew them all. Had he not sent me to prison i believe id be dead. I now work for the same mental health facility i used to attend for treatment. I now help those in the community who are where i once was. And if it wasnt for Mr. Hatfield, I wouldn’t be where I am now. He does whats right and fair. He changed my whole life and for that i am grateful.
