Travelodge by Wyndham Beckley

This hotel is wonderful; wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast bar, and wonderful rooms. The attention to detail my fiancé and I have received is impeccable. They are always on it with toiletries, towels, etc. We will absolutely be coming back here to visit the area, and this will always be the hotel we stay at. It’s surrounded by everything you may need and more, shopping and food wise, and adding on the wonderful hospitality of the hotel just makes Beckley a very pleasant place to be or pass through. If we could give more than a 5 star rating, we absolutely would. We travel for our jobs, all over the United States, and this is one of our favorite hotels and places we’ve been to yet.

I’m a pipeliner working away from home. The staff are always kind and very helpful. Always set my room up nicely. Always will to accommodate any needs I have. Staff treat you like family.

I booked this place via Expedia the same night I was going to stay there. It's a decent location to stay at. This is a 2-star hotel and it lives up to its rating, which is why I gave this hotel a full 5 five rating. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. The room included a continental breakfast which I was surprised to get based on the rate I paid for my one night stay. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at - Its walking distance from nearby fast food places.

Nice location, lots of places to eat within walking distance. Finding correct driveway a little tricky. Hotel is behind Taco Bell so you pull in as if you were going to Taco Bell. Check was quick, staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and clean.

Curious cat, reading reviews to see if anyone has shares an odd experiences while staying in room 47, since a 19yr old was killed (shot)in that room.

At the time I visited I had broken my foot the night before and hadn't been to the hospital yet. The desk staff was very polite and helped me get my things to my room and settled in. When I checked out the next day, a young lady from housekeeping helped me get my things out to my vehicle and loaded up. I can't say enough to describe how grateful I am for their kindness. I will be back!

Ok, what hard about this is seeing that this is an "affordable" extended stay hotel which can bring in some unsavory characters. If you settle for that then it's ok.
But as a Wyndham owner, it below par because the room standards as a timeshare isn't what I'm used to. Linens were stained and shower curtains had discoloration. Breakfast was meager and out of stock half the time. Things like that.

But the staff did hold up the Wyndham standard very well! Super friendly and helpful, great service and good people always smiling!

Lucy at Front desk was friendly, accommodating and such a pleasure. Her customer service made our decision to stay here for a quick night off the road to refresh. Pet friendly!!

Micheal the owner is very friendly and helpful, the house keepers clean daily so the place always looks and smells amazing.My favorite the lead housekeeper is always bringing by fresh towels at you request. No insects not even a silverfish was found. Its an older hotel but, its well maintained bedding was stylish and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but pristine.. If you're a night nurse like me you'll love that there is no pool and thick walls so even when there are guests with children or pets you rarely hear them. Tthe breakfast bar is well stocked there are no eggs or meats served though. It's not at all impressive on the outside but on the inside you'll be suprised to find its everything you need.

Super nice and friendly staff! Rebecca in housekeeping is such a doll and made me feel SO welcome, and Jess and Shawn from the front desk were so helpful and personable. This staff goes above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one! My room was nice and clean (thanks Rebecca😊) and I loved the waffles at breakfast.

Housekeeping does a great job and were very nice. The town itself can be a little sketchy but the room was good. There's lots of businesses nearby and walking distance to restaurants.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They allowed me to book last minute, when all of the other hotels in the area stopped allowing guests for the night. I had been driving nearly all day, and really needed a place to rest. To my surprise, it was not just the front desk staff that was nice, but also, the people cleaning the rooms, such as Rebecca. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Not only did I stay for the one night originally planned, I also added one additional night to my stay. I had great experience, and would definitely stay there again. Thank you to the staff in Beckley for a wonderful stay!

I stayed here for $60 and was completely blown away. For one reason. This place has been fully remodeled and not in a cheap shortcut taking way. Everything is fresh and I’ve stayed in places almost $200 that wasn’t as nice as this. Once again this is all relative it’s just clean and completely remodeled.

We have been staying here for years. The room is accessible with outside entrance for easy access to the car and to walk dogs. Food is walking distance too. The staff is always accommodating and cheerful. Tony was at front desk this time. He is a delightful young man. A good sense of humor which after 500 miles was a stress relief.

Hospitality is amazing!! The whole crew was so welcoming and friendly! But our housekeeper Becca was the most precious person I've ever met she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back

Definitely not a 5 star hotel but for the price it was amazing! The staff were very friendly and my room was immaculate! If I ever have to travel through West Virginia again (which I will, I visit NY for family frequently) I will be staying here again!

Rooms were clean and the hotel was close to everything. The manager, Shawn, was very polite and knowledgeable. The housekeeper, Rebecca, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for my week's stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone, 10/10.
