Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Beckley East

This is a basic hotel. The room was clean and quiet. No weird smells or noisy neighbors, I was on the 3rd(top) floor. There are not any restaurants immediately close.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I slept through the continental breakfast so I can't review it and did not check out the pool. The room was basic with a mini fridge. The beds were soft and comfy, probably the nicest I've had in this price range.

The TV was a bit small for the room and mounted in the corner. It had the local cable service and the picture was a bit snowy. They touched up the paint on the walls, which was nice, but the paint was not an exact match.

I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay from check-in to check-out. The room was perfect save for the paint job. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was topnotch.

Stopever on our trip to Myrtle Beach. Breakfast was subpar. OJ & milk were sour. Expected better. Room was fine.
Hallway REEKED of cigarette smoke.

It's always a pleasure to stay at any of their locations. The service, staff and rooms are always great. Plus they are less expressive than most motels their equal in accommodations and amenities.

Clean room with 2 queen beds. Easy to use shower, TV, and temperature controls. Excellent price and free breakfast.

Me and my girlfriend stayed the night here awhile ago. The rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and recommended local places to order from. Beds were comfy and the room was fully stocked. No complaints. 5 stars!

I stay here at lease twice a year and the manager Mike is just wonderful. I used to stay at Country inn and suites but due to the crime and drug activity I switched to Microtel and feel very safe and no issues with booking or my rooms. Did I mention Mike is just wonderful. :)

Ive been staying here every three months traveling to and from Indiana. Normally absolutely great service. Rooms are great,clean etc. However this stay, the desk clerk didn't seem like customers were her priority and she kept forgetting to give back ID's and credit cards. Then get our room and there is no remote. So get remote and it doesn't work. After trying these times gave up on the remote, then there wasn't a garbage can. The room smelled like pot after we had laid down for the evening. I assume someone maybe in another room or something. Then at 812pm I here the vacuum cleaner running in the hall way. Then it also seems like they were having their family staying in the building too. Also, seemed like they were renting out to some shady individuals. Ones you wouldn't want to meet in the dark. So, no remote,no trash can,poor service,shady customers with the pot smell I can say this wasn't a good stay this visit. I sincerely hope when I come back in 3 months it's better.
Only reason I stay here so much is bc normally it's great and they accept my pups but if this continues then I will find another wayndam that accepts pups.

Clean, comfortable and great customer service. Honestly the reviews were so scary we almost didn't stay. Because of all the bad reviews I scoured over the room examining everything. This is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in this area. Definitely I'd stay here again. The staff is super helpful. It's not a luxury hotel but if you need a clean, comfortable room this is the best choice in the area.

We stayed at this Microtel a few weeks back on our way home from Florida. First and foremost I MUST say how accommodating the young man (R.J. I believe) working the desk was. Despite the fact that the hotel was obviously booked to capacity with people returning from March Break he went out of his way to ensure everyone was happy. This was not just myself and 3 teenage children, but also the other guests arriving.

The room, although simple, was clean and more than adequate for a travelling family. Yes there were some things that needed upgrading but we were paying $60 a night, not $200 for an upscale hotel.

In the morning the same young man was still working. He was still doing his absolute best to make sure guests were happy. Honestly this location is lucky to have someone that cares so much about his job. I would recommend this hotel for those travelling and looking for a place to rest their head for night.

Affordable and straightforward hotel with a heated indoor pool and friendly staff. Don't expect a 5 star experience coming here, but the rooms are clean, well kept and no smells. Free breakfast in the morning. My kids enjoyed the pool in winter. We'll definitely come back.

If you need a convenient, clean place to stay at a good price this is a great choice. The desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, a massive mirror - which is so helpful when more than one person has to get ready. The breakfast nook is simple but who goes expecting a feast? Coffee was very good. It was well staffed and we were here on Easter weekend 2022! It is right off I64 in Beckley WV.

I think had it not been for covid it would had been a great breakfast. We always try to find a nice affordable place that serves breakfast to cut down in travelling expenses. They give breakfast snacks, which was nice, but i love a hot breakfast.
The beds were actually not to bad. They need to give more towels in the room, but had no problem giving them when we ask. We had good wifi.
It was nice seeing pets even though ours couldn't come due to weight limit....a neighbors 2 dogs came in and said good morning when we opened our door.
Overall for the price it was a great deal. We checked our 2 rooms for bedbugs upon arrival and found no evidence of bugs, thank God!
So stay if you need a place!!!

My favorite short-trip hotel in Beckley. Rooms are consistently among the least expensive in town, and the location is always clean. My only real complaint is the lack of minifridge and microwave in the room, although there is a microwave available in the breakfast area. Would and likely will stay here again.

Very nice property. Clean, comfortable room. The young lady at the front desk was very busy but the smile never left her face. Great recommendations for supper as well.

Nice clean accessible rooms, nice chair in shower we needed some place to sleep for 1 night after driving from Charleston to NC, when we checked in the room door was open had no clue why, breakfast was continental no meat or eggs waffles ,juice and coffee, yogurt, bagels check in was easy,

We stopped on our way from PA to FL for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and room was quiet. Nice hot shower and then a good breakfast. Will probably stay again on our next trip!

The staff were all friendly...each one of them! The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Thw beds are so comfortable...and I loved all the mirrors in the room!. The room included a full-sized ironing board and iron, microwave, mini-fridge and hair dryer in the bathroom. They offered coffee and tea 24 hours, and a decent breakfast. I'm completely satisfied and will definitely stay here again when I'm in town.
