Microtel Inn by Wyndham Beckley

I stayed one full week from out of town. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hot tub was nice and big and clean. Rooms are decent. Housekeeping came every single day and was thorough. Money well spent.

This place is cost effective, and amazing. Andrea, the front desk person, did my laundry for me when guest laundry was out. Free of charge, AND SHE FOLDED IT!? I cannot stress enough how much it made my week. A little hard to find initially, but that's the only catch. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We almost did not book this hotel bc of the reviews but I’m glad we did!

Every employee here has been great and very helpful! The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic after a long day of adventures in the area, wish it was a bit bigger, filled up quickly with families with children but that’s going to be everywhere.

The room:
There were a few little stains on the sheets but they smelt clean and a hint of bleach so I’m not too stressed as much as others seemed to be and I always take off the top sheet anyways.
The beds were very comfortable and that’s a rare thing to find!
The pillows sucked , sorry but they did! The staff was great about giving more out but since they wash them to ( so I’m. Not going to knock them to badly) you can see why they are not that great!
House cleaning was amazing and sweet (Natasha was our attendant)
The food was perfect, danishes were amazing and the muffins as well so fresh and moist! The waffles are good and they had cereal and juice all in all not to bad and clean!!!!
I truly do not have any solid negatives about our stay except the elevator did go down but look people , things happen and not everything can be controlled :)
When planning this trip I called a few other hotels to confirm the pool and jacuzzi were in working order and was told it was at their discretion …what the heck is that, if I’m laying for a hotel with these Amenities I want to have them available so again I’m glad everything worked out so well and I have this place a go!!!!

I gave 5 stars based on what I was looking for: 3 children and myself skied 3 days at Winterplace. Needed a decent place to stay that was easy on the wallet and not a dirty dive. This place was clean enough for what we needed. I’m sure there’s nicer hotel nearby but for at least 2x the price. Evening help at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Pool and HOT TUB was a huge bonus. Breakfast was basic but more than enough to get us out out the door and to the slopes. If you want a GREAT VALUE with just a few extras,look no further.

This place was nice. The room was nice, clean. It was quiet even though it was busy. Staff were so nice! It was clean and well taken care of. Pool is heated. Jacuzzi was awesome!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise!! I was in Beckley for work, and my company uses Wyndham hotels exclusively. I was not familiar with Microtel and due to the price point, wasn’t expecting much. I could not have been more wrong!!! The owners are putting a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this hotel!! It was absolutely one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Rooms are big, bright, and clean! Housekeeping was very responsive to any issues. Plenty if food options very close to hotel. An absolute great place to stay for the price

Had a great night's sleep. Quiet clean and comfortable. Got it in at 9. :00 and utilized the hot tub... Woke up nice and early to a continental breakfast. All in all a good start for our holiday...

Everyone here is courteous, kind and polite! Although they were having issues with the computer that's neither here nor there! My room is clean, my bed is made, it's not fancy but I don't need fancy When I close my eyes I go to sleep! As for the person that says they do not accept pets, that is not true because I brought a cat! There is a $20 fee for a pet.

Rated 5 for Microtel. Room was clean and updated. Staff was very helpful and professional. Great location just off I64/79 with sever eating options close by the hotel. Definitely a keeper.

Booked the rooms 3 months prior to our stay, everything went seamlessly. Location was as mapped out online, 20 minutes to our activity (Boy Scout Jambo - Beckley) - Room was nice, quiet and bed was comfortable. Pillows were not the normal pillows I would use, but a couple of them helped out. Pool area was indoors, clean and right down the hall. Breakfast was decent, I like eggs, but the accommodations were good enough for coffee, a quick bite and out the door.

Great night stay. Room was recently remodeled and though on the smaller side I found it super convenient and modern. Front desk was helpful and very courteous. Room had walk in shower, usb chargers at bedside, fridge and microwave. Standard free breakfast in the morning. Hotel is tucked in the corner behind 2 others so it was very quiet and I had a great nights sleep. Plenty of parking. I was able to park my semi and trailer with room for many other vehicles towing trailers. I’ll definitely stay here over others in the area next time I pass through.

I have been stuck here for a few days due to my truck being at the Freightliner dealership. The staff from housekeeping to the management has been awesome. The hotel is super clean and has modern amenities in the room. The wifi is the fastest of any hotel I have ever stayed at and doesn’t cost anything extra like some hotels. I would stay here again on a vacation because of the service and quality of the room for the price.

Room was clean , showers were very nice, my daughter loved the pool. I’m just happy there was breakfast. They have a waffles!

We come up to WV a lot and we usually stay at this hotel. Sonia was a very polite and helpful lady. She and my daughter got a long so well. We always come back to this hotel because it's nice enough for the money! Has a pool and hot tub also!

I stopped here as a halfway point on my drive to Tennessee. Was a little hard to see but my GPS told me where to turn in. It's it's behind another to hotels one being the Country Inn & suites. I think the other one was a Holiday Inn. My room was great, very clean, and updated. I was only there for a night and did not get to use the pool but went and looked at it and it looked very inviting. There was also a hot tub beside it. I had to go down and ask for the TV list of channels, it was not in the room. I would definitely stay here again. There were restaurants and gas stations close by.

Emili was amazing. I will return to this hotel next time I’m in town simply because this employee was so amazingly helpful and kind. She saved me time, money and stress in getting a rental car after my car broke down and I walked to the microtel with my kids in tow. I’ll never forget your kindness! Great hotel. Every employee is professional and helpful. My truck broke down and they really took care of me. Pool and jacuzzi awesome. Best rates in town. Trust my word on that. New management, new renovations, new hotel. Direct hit!

The new updates were incredible, the staff was incredible! The hot tub in the pool were perfect the rooms were in spotless and clean and comfortable. I felt very safe staying there and the night clerks were incredible thank you so much.

Was pleasantly surprised on how the great my stay was. I’ve been to other locations that I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to. But my stay was great.
