Five stars. I’ve been going for years and always got great service. I moved to Iowa recently, and I’ve been struggling to find a good hair cut. It also stands out to me how few legit one star reviews the barbershop has for how long it’s been open.

Joe is hands down the best barber in town, I'm from Texas and he can get you looking low mid high and tight.

He's also goes by Mr. Blendy! Keep up the good work bro!

Always a great place to come for a haircut. I'm always treated with dignity and respect. The barbers always listen to my request and do their best to satisfy my desire for a clean well groomed experience. My only complaint, with tongue planted firmly in my cheek, they never seem to make my bald spot smaller 😁

What a GREAT shop. Owner is a very personable guy and took extra time making sure my sons hair was EXACTLY the way he wanted it to be. Those that have a 16 year old son know that’s no easy task. He did great and we couldn’t be happier. We will be returning!!

I used a third party app to book an appointment and unfortunately that information never made it to the shop, and as such I officially had no appointment... I have a wedding to go to today so that was potentially a big issue for me. Luckily enough they were more than accommodating. The owner personally fixed me up and I am more than satisfied with the haircut, the service, and the speed. Very professional guys. Thank you so very much. I’ll definitely be back as well as handing out your cards.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Very old-school/classic style. After experiencing a haircut from a place designed for men's hair cutting, you'll never go anywhere else! This is truly one of the old classic barber shops reincarnated to a deliver today's styles. They do the warm lather neck shave with the straight razor and everything! Plus they take debit/credit cards, which is the icing on the cake for me! I'd give more than 5 stars if this would let me. VERY Satisfied with atmosphere, service, quality of cut, everything! Thanks for bringing this to the north side of Decatur!

I happened to walk past this place the other day and struck up a conversation with a guy that was sitting outside the shop . His name was Joe and he happened to be the owner. He was very friendly and corrigible. He invited me in to view his shop and the place was immaculately clean and welcoming . His prices are quite reasonable and they also cut any type of hair no matter what nationality. I'd recommend his barber shop to everyone !

As with the other Lockhart's locations, my visit to Lockhart's North was an absolute pleasure. All the shops have a great atmosphere and very capable barbers. I stopped in to get a quick haircut and beard trim, got in right away, and was very impressed with the barber's skill and speed. I enjoyed the conversation, the atmosphere, and would highly recommend Lockhart's North to friends.

Just like the other Lockhart's barber shops the atmosphere is great. The spot where men can go and enjoy good conversation and a great haircut. George the barber at the North shop is one of the best in tgeneral biz. He pays close attention to detail and is a all around good guy.
If you haven't been to Lockhart's shop before, you're missing out. I recommend checking at the North shop first.

I don’t have much hair left but it always looks good and I had the best hot shave of my life here a few months ago. Brandon did an awesome job. I will definitely be going back soon.

Best straight razor fade

My grandson is 11 and refuses get his hair cut anywhere but Lockhart's! They do an awesome job and the guys are so personable . We have seen customers of all ages here and everyone seems satisfied.

Great experience with very knowledgeable barbers. Wait times are good, and the haircuts, while thorough, are quick. The barbers take their time to understand what you want, and check in on details throughout the cut. The only place that will cut my hair and beard.

They did a great job giving my 21 month old his first professional haircut.... the barber was very patient with my son and he help ease my sons anxiety

Best barber in the County area

Went in to get my previous haircut touched up and the
environment is clean and friendly and the haircut that I
received is amazing. Definitely recommend.
