Kroger

I'm so glad there is a Kroger in Mt Zion. My wife and I both shop here, I think we like it more than Walmart. They are really good discounting products. They have decided to do a large amount of remodeling, and I plan to go back and take more pictures when they are finished. I have added some current photos.

I'll go miles out of my way to shop this particular store over the others, because both the employees, and the managers have always been extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. I often see the manager on the floor right along with his employees, working hard. I typically find everything I'm looking for, and the ladies in the deli are super hard working and kind. I'll be honest, I'm not as fond of the fuel center, for the fact that I once had an employee LOUDLY say "Excuse me?!!!" over the intercom, in response to a comment I made about her attitude when I asked her about fuel points, which was totally uncalled for, because SHE came at me with the attitude, so I simply volleyed it back, and not even aggressively. But that's a different area. The grocery store itself is great.

Really busy--difficult to find a cart!

Easy in and out. Checkout is generally fast whether using the self-service or registers. Lots of specialty choices including sushi. As a general rule the employees are helpful, friendly and fun to engage with. I don't recall ever having a bad customer experience there. Gas is good quality and competitively priced even before the discount.

Everyone is always friendly when we visit... We always get lots of Deli meat. Ali helped us today and she was not frustrated at all by the 5 kinds of meat or the 3 kinds of cheese we had her slice. Even offered us samples of things we weren’t sure on. Very pleasant to work with!

The management is always friendly the produce always fresh I walk around the store and never see much of a mess.
The baggers that are friendly the checkers are always too without Decatur airport Krogers I don't know what I would do

I had to put a last minute addition to an already huge fried chicken order. This team pulled it off in a timely manner. And everything was hot fresh and delicious

At the meat counter getting shrimp I casually mentioned they were out of butcher and peach paper and he ran to the back to get me some for my brisket (that was cheaper than hamburger) and that’s above and beyond. I appreciate you!

I just got off the phone with the absolute nicest customer service representative. I called to inquire about inventory as I have not had any recent luck with getting coffee creamer when I place a curbside order. Additionally other random things are periodically not in stock. I was curious if I was selecting brands / items not typically stocked at that store. When I called the phone was answered promptly. The first person I spoke to asked me to hold in a professional manner (not the "wait a minute" I hear a lot from businesses these days). I was on hold for only a few seconds before the next person answered. My questions were answered in a professional and caring manner and I was offered some insight in to the inventory / availability of items. I ignorantly was not aware that stores still aren't at pre Covid product capacity. I appreciate the professional and empathetic service provided to me today. Thank you to the people I spoke with today and to all grocery workers for your hard and very essential work!

((( #1 Deli & Meat Dept))) The Best in Decatur and one of the cleanest grocery stores in general! The staff is always Nice and available to help from one end of store to other, no matter the request. Shelves are stocked & properly labeled, which seems to be alot to ask for anymore...Thanks Again, keep up the awesome work!

Our favorite place to shop. Kroger as a whole is just good selection with decent prices but the staff here is what sets this store apart from the others in the area. Our girls are always excited to stop by the bakery to chat with whoever's working (and getting a cookie doesn't hurt). Everyone you talk to is super nice and if you don't feel like dealing with anyone (I have my days) the self checkouts are better/quicker than most.

This store deli is run by the most awesome person. I was stuck in Texas unable to go to a funeral for my brother in law but wanted desperately to do something for my sister and her family. Michelle put together 5 beautiful trays for me and my youngest sister picked them up for me. They have my undying devotion. They even took payment over the phone. love these people.

Their meat dept is always stocked with quality meat that's fresh cut. And their friendly staff is always more than happy to assist you in finding what you need or slicing your request if it's not out.

Very polite and helpful! Great deals with the members card deal (which is free) and gives you discounts on fuel as well! Great selection of groceries, and has a nice atmosphere.

Always busy since the Kroger in Fairview plaza closed. They seem to keep up on most stock, but eggs to seem to run lowe every day.

Clean store, friendly staff. If you need help just ask, they will help you.

Great selection of fresh food, produce and other things. Checkout person was very helpful and nice. Wish we had a store like this near us.

Friendly and courteous staff. Always a great produce selection. The pick up service is fantastic. They even select amazing produce (better than my husband picks)

Very clean store. Great selection. Super friendly staff. You can pay some bills here, such as Ameren. Also have Western Union and money orders. 5+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Good time to shop. Early Sunday morning. Not so good checking out. Only one lane open. Needed to show my license to write a check ??? Have shopped with Kroger's for 27 yrs. What's up with that????
