Iron Skillet

Great breakfast! Our server was really nice and kept hot coffee on the table. Its quiet inside but we appreciated it on a Saturday morning. Pancakes were delish and the eggs were fresh. Good way to start your day.

This was a treat on our trip to TN! In a way it was like we'd stepped back in time...to a comfortable, down-home diner where they take good care of you. Which Shirley certainly did! Our food was very good and served in warm skillets! Great place to stop for a meal, highly recommended!

Real nice place to just slowdown and have a meal while on the road.

Has a dedicated seating area for drivers which is nice.

Server was very nice, never ran out of coffee, and the chicken fried steak was on point.

The service was excellent today and the food was delicious and hot! The food was cooked nicely and was very fresh. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and how nice everyone was. Very happy with the food and the waitress who was straight out, I give her credit. Food came out hot and very good.

Food was fine. They don't have all the teas listed, only an orange pekoe black tea. rice is good n soft. Dinner roll texture was not edible. Better off ordering something with 2 sides, and bring your own drink.

Boy do they have some of the best steaks I ever had?

Waitress was working the entire restaurant by herself. I ordered the Steerburger, and it was overcooked to the point that the knife would barely cut through it. Everything else was good. They need to hire some people to help the waitress out.

The Sirloin had amazing flavor, the Fries had amazing seasoning, the Broccoli tasted good and I was given butter bread with it

I was taking a load from Idaho to bessmmer al I stopped in OMG the fish fry was by far the best fish I have ever tasted in my 40 yrs on this earth the waitress did a phenomenal job thanks guys I'll be back

We went to Tannehill State Park and decided to stop in for a late dinner. We'd stopped in before after visiting the park but it was a couple of years ago.
We all got one of their choices of steak with baked potato and salad bar. The steaks were great! They beat the last Outback Steakhouse we ate at in Hoover, hands down! And the service was terrific..again, a thousand times better than what we'd gotten at Outback! The restrooms were clean and well attended as well. You can really tell the manager runs a great place!
So forget your predisposed thinking of a typical truck stop! This was a great restaurant experience!

The manager!!! Out taking orders, clearing and cleaning tables, running orders, and doing it all with a smile. I’ve never had an employee ask me how I was doing much less the manger. His aura!! This is my new favorite!!! Jeff should travel to every Iron skillet and train. The entire staff is a reflection of Jeff. They are the definition of attitude reflects leadership. Kudos to Jeff and his crew!!!
