Scared grounds coffee is a must stop in Edwardsville. They have many different brews including coffee and tea beverages. The menu is small but packed with amazingly tasty and filling dishes. The avocado toast is very good and the bagel sandwich is to die for.

We have been going religiously on weekends to sacred grounds for brunch in the past couple months and the food there is so delicious!Their muffins are amazing and we love the weekend specials! Definitely recommend this place.

The food here is absolutely delicious on top of being very creative. The drinks are pretty basic as far as coffee shops go but the baristas are always on top of it. Everyone is very friendly and every time I’m here I can always hear the workers laughing. It’s quite an entertaining environment especially when the workers can take a joke and run with it.

New place we tried out today with our friends. Very filling and good food and drinks. My boyfriend said his hot chocolate could’ve used more chocolate, but overall, great place to try out. 😊

I came out this weekend and tried the bundle up special. The service was good and the drinks were made pretty quickly. The shop was busy and loud so it was a little hard to hear but it was expected. Will definitely be coming back!

I found this place absolutely amazing!! The staff were pleasant and even laughed a little at a joke. I thought the menu was both fun and interesting. I had Fiona with added espresso, regarding that menu. Thank you for being such a cool place!! 😊

Sacred Grounds is an adorable little coffee shop! It has a good vibe - games and books to occupy your time while waiting on your order.

I ordered an iced honey lavender latte and the avocado toast - both were delicious! I think it was the best avocado toast I've had!

This is one of my new favorite spots. The scones are delightful and coffee is simply AMAZING!!! This one is not to be missed!

I had such a great time here. I'm from out of town and chose this place because I'm a vegetarian. It did not disappoint. I had the vegan biscuits and gravy and it was pretty good--especially the biscuits the eggs. It takes skill to make a good scrambled egg and this place knows how to do it. I also got an apple tart that blew my mind. To top it off I got a decaf latte which is almost never as good as the real stuff, but this was probably the best decaf latte I've ever had. It's not glamorous but it is certainly unpretentious and I really enjoyed my time.

Kate has SO many options available for friends who are vegan, gluten free, or vegetarian! She is accommodating to all dietary needs and makes sure that you are getting what you want when you come in! As always, it is delicious!

The food is better than it’s ever been which is no surprise since the owner is shacking up with the founder of Cleveland heath. I hope they stay together for the sake of my tastebuds!

WALK DON'T RUN!! Traveling from out of town and stopped in for brunch. I used to frequent Sacred when I lived in town. Let me tell you...The new brunch menu is to die for! My kiddos are obsessed with the perfectly giant and Fluffy choco-chip pancakes. We were greeted warmly and the coffee was just what we needed.
Service was prompt and I cannot stress enough how diverse the options are.

The staff was very helpful and got ke my food very quickly. I really enjoy the paninis, they are made with fresh ingredients and cooked pretty well. The coffee drinks are much better than the generic Starbucks, probably because the higher quality coffee.

Fantastic place, with fantastic food, great atmosphere, and wonderful coffee! A perfect place to study, meet and chat, or just read a book and relax.

Nice vibe, I loved the art and great coffee. I got a plain hot layte and it was very good. I think the whole milk quality was very high. We came on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. Nice way to pass a staycation day and enjoy the local area.

The food is absolutely amazing!! The biscuits & gravy are one of my go-to favorites for breakfast, as well as the oatmeal & the lunch menu has great options too! The owner goes above & beyond to create a great experience & support her community & the coffee beverages are excellent! I have a sweet tooth like many & her homemade pastry case is second to none! Try the scones!!

The best place in town for coffee, breakfast and brunch. The menu offers something for everyone and the owner takes great care to prepare her offerings with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. She’s also a generous and thoughtful steward of the community in which she lives and operates her business. As I customer I appreciate that as much as I do the avocado toast (the only place I ever order avocado toast) and the turkey sandwich. If you haven’t yet been to Sacred Grounds, give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.
