Alton Village Inn Pancake House

Came when they opened. Very laid back and friendly atmosphere, our waitress wasn't standing over us while we were eaten which is great!! And she remembered all the food and everything was correct I was really expressed. Food was great and cheap!! Completely recommend coming here if you want a good breakfast 🍽

I had waffles with eggs,link, sausage and bacon. It was perfect. Dad had biscuits and gravy,eggs, and sausage patties. He thoroughly enjoyed his. The service was excellent, the atmosphere light and welcoming. The staff was kind,and delightful. It was a great place to have a meal. I recommend it to everyone!

Another fantastic diner in Alton. I've been going to this place off and on for years. To be fair, I don't know if I've ever had lunch here, but the breakfasts have always been pretty great. A fairly deep menu for early morning eats, with the biggest selection being omelets. And, the pancakes are definitely worth a trip.

The pancakes could not have been better! The bacon was perfect, not burnt & not soggy. The server was very attentive. The coffee was ok, diner coffee. But I will be back for sure, it had been at least 15 years since I've been there & it was better then I remember.

Unfortunately, I forgot to get pictures 🤦‍♀ We were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate 15 and offered a variety of food options for a college athletic team....we hit gold! Classic, rustic, mom and pop style diner that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner served all day. Daily specials and a huge dessert selection (*pies, cakes, etc were located in the large display case upon entrance*). The double cheeseburger, triple stack pancakes, baked meatloaf, fettuccine alfredo, and philly steak were HUGE portions. You definitely get your money's worth!!! Our waitress was beyond nice and attentive. Not a single complaint and you have to keep in mind that we had 15 people in total. Everyone in our party left fat and happy. Overall, we'll definitely be back. Great food, huge portions, at a great price.

Great breakfast place. Lunch and dinner are good also. Home cooking. Great vegetable soup. Started eating and then remembered to take a picture. The ham steak was awesome.

Love This Place for some quiet, Peaceful time and Delicious Food. Even though it gets Busy, its not overwhelming with noise. Very Comfortable, love the Desserts.

Best place in town for breakfast, lunch or dinner ANY time of day. The service and food are outstanding! Such a variety. Oh, and don't forget some home-made dessert!!

I loved the food and the service our waitress lauran was great , took our order was right on point with everything we needed I would differently go back everything was a awesome size most definitely get your money's worth

Quaint - a great find!!! Tried the cinnamon swirl French toast, which was scrumptious, and came with the BEST scrambled eggs (moist & fluffy). Hubby had biscuits and gravy (the best of any restaurant in our area). And the coffee was so good! Can’t wait to try their lunch items. Homemade desserts look heavenly. We’re definitely going back!

The food was fresh, delicious, and properly cooked! The cinnamon swirl French toast was incredible. The staff were all friendly and inviting.

This little gem was amazing. For a busy Saturday morning there was a short wait. The food was out so quickly and was fresh and hot. The pancakes are so fluffy and the staff is very friendly great family spot

Gigi's usually are waitress. She is excellent she knows what you want as soon as you walk in to drink and it's right there at your table could not find a waitress any more friendly

Beyond amazing. Great service, great food and wonderful prices. We came from out of town for an event and stopped here before we left for home.
