TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dothan

Two days ago, I stayed at this hotel and was extremely impressed by the friendly receptionists Mrs. Sierra Jackson and Mrs. Zukiera Pearson. They were very kind and professional in helping me out with everything I asked. Their smiles made me feel at home. I went to the restaurant Mrs. Zukiera recommended; it was excellent and we enjoyed the dinner very much.
I want to also commend the nice young gentlemen who served the breakfast. Although the breakfast was not rich, his great service made it up: a clean environment, warm food, and sufficient supplies.
Additionally, the place was clean and updated, very comfortable, and a big room. It is indeed like a hidden jewel but conveniently located in a place adjacent to the Mall and a good choice of restaurants.
I will stay there again when the time comes.

I enjoyed my stay here so much 💕 The staff was excellent and very welcoming. The holtel was a hidden Gem 💎. Complimentary breakfast was good except the Oatmeal was a too thick 😂
Overall a 9/10 and i will be back.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Every single person from house keeping to kitchen workers to maintenance. Rooms were a nice size and clean. The employees made a huge difference in our stay.

Really nice hotel. The kitchenettes in the rooms are awesome, so nice for longer stays. Love that are dogs were welcome (they love hotels even more than we do). The lobby/breakfast area is beautiful. The pool is beautiful and clear. You get actual plates at breakfast, not styrofoam, and the breakfast was really good!

Great hotel. Staff is always extremely accommodating and friendly. Rooms are great for the price. I especially appreciate Cathy and her smile at breakfast to brighten my morning!

Great stay. The room was the size of an apartment, the closet was full size with shelves, full kitchen with toaster, coffee pot, pots and pans etc etc, the window even opened which was nice because it was raining, breakfast was amazing (but no bacon, boooo)and the sweetheart that checked me in was fabulous and helpful.

Very comfortable beds and clean room. Breakfast was good with all the good stuff including fresh waffles, eggs, and sausage. The hotel is new with outdoor furniture and a clean shared area. Check in and out is quick and the cards are touch, not slide locks that never work.

I booked Townplace for a business trip because it had good reviews. I did not disappoint. If you need a kitchenette and comfy bed this hotel has that plus more. Outdoor bbq pits, fire pit, lounge area.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable. I needed a place to stay for a week while I worked on some things at my house, and this hotel was highly recommended. I understand why. The kitchenettes are very nice and come furnished with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. You also have a dishwasher, a large closet, and a large bathroom. There's a nice sized fridge and freezer and a table. The beds are super comfy and the staff are wonderful, courteous, and will go out of their way to help you with whatever you might need. It really is a little home away from home. It's so nice, I'm tempted to stay an extra week.

After three bad hotel stays,we really needed a clean ,roomy, conveniently located ,comfortable hotel stay! The plates in the cabinets came in handy for pizza, the large refrigerator a plus. The beds and pillows comfortable and finally,a tub I liked to use. Clean,quiet,lots of room!

My husband and I would like to speak to a supervisor or a higher up , At first when we got here we couldn’t find anybody to check in and was about to leave till this young lady came from the back office sweating with rags in her hand I could tell she had been cleaning, I imagine you all are short staffed ,I had a little attitude due to some prior events while we were checking in my card declined for some strange reason , the lady who’s name is Taylor swiped her card, so we could get our room , I offered to pay cash and she said it was fine and to enjoy our stay. This is the type of employee that you want working the Front Desk

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was massive, with a full kitchen (full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc.) and everything was perfectly clean. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. All at the same price as the average hotels around it. This is the only place I will ever stay when I'm in the area in the future.

First, Sean was an absolute pleasure! He greeted us with kindness & the greatest sense of humor. Second, the room was fantastic! All employees we encountered were pleasant & professional. I could hear voices through the walls but that’s the only negative. The whole place is clean, bright and in an excellent location beside the mall and a ton of restaurants. We will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

My room was clean! Linens and sheets smelled good. Staff was readily available when I had request. Even had shaving cream for me no charge.

I want to start off by saying that I travel a lot for work, and I stay in hotels for most of the year. This stay has by far been the most pleasant and memorable. I am coming into the last week of my stay (4/7/2022-5/21/2022). Aniston is an amazing front desk manager. Whether a guest is staying one night, or a few weeks, she never fails to greet them by name with a smile as they pass through the lobby. She is quick to take care of any guest's needs or wants. To top all of it off, if she has any bad days, you wouldn't know it. She is extremely friendly and professional. (I'd hire her for the company I work for in a heartbeat.) Aryanna is yet another amazing staff member. Like Aniston, she always carries herself with a positive attitude and has great customer service skills. It's easy to know anything I need will be easy to take care of if she is working. Miss Cathy makes sure that mornings run smoothly. She ensures everyone has their breakfast needs met to the best of her ability, as well as ensuring everyone she sees starts their day off with a smile. I hope to see all of these staff members here when I eventually return to Dothan. Thank you all for the great stay!

Since this is a new hotel, it's as nice, modern, and clean as you might imagine. Our studio suite had a full kitchen and a spacious bathroom, both of which were in good working order. The beds were comfortable although for a short person (I'm 5' 2"), it was a challenge to get in and out of bed because it was so high off the ground! The breakfast was probably good but there was a kid soccer team swarming all over so we more or less have up. This hotel is very conveniently located close to plenty of shopping and dining, a real plus after a long day's travel.

Clean room, huge space, comfortable beds, and beautiful kitchen. Only one problem the pillows were too "squishy". We stayed for 3 days. The room was taken care of, towels, beds, etc. Wonderful staff in breakfast area. The breakfast buffet was ample: boiled eggs, egg omelets, egg and cheese omelet, sausage, Turkey sausage, cereals, bagels: white and everything, English muffin, sliced white and whole wheat bread, jellies, cream cheese, peanut butter spreads, blueberry and cinnamon thick muffins, ready to go oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice milk, yogurt, waffle maker, chocolate chips, peanut butters, pecans, and syrup for toppings, and coffee options. Ample seating area tables, booths, and stools, TVs all over if wanted.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious with a nice lady serving. She even held it over the cutoff time for my disabled husband to make it downstairs.

My family stayed at this hotel during hurricane Irma and found the place to be extremely friendly, clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff is amazing at the front desk, cleaners and those that serve breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and they made it feel like home. Awesome experience!!!
