Ended up going here just on a google search. So glad I did. The store is amazing with a massive selection. I was greeted by the staff who were all friendly. I ended up trading a guitar in and buying another. I love the opportunity to support local shops vs the massive chains. This is a 1 stop shop for guitar and music related items. I did take a chance to read some of the reviews and can say the negative reviews are very false. This is a very fancy place and it is not uncommon to have a sign that says don’t take guitars off the wall, rather get an associate to help. There are very high priced guitars in this store and you can tell the owners have spent many years establishing an amazing business. I urge anyone in the area to check out this store. Will be back for sure!

Another flawless purchase. The atmosphere at this shop is just amazing. Had to come in and grab one of the new esp ltd. Supporting local businesses that support law enforcement and military is amazing. This is a one stop shop for all your musical needs. Can’t wait to see what I end up buying from them next.

Midlothian Music's website listed a discontinued marching drumstick that I had been looking for. I emailed with a question and received an immediate reply. I placed my order and 48 hours later, it was delivered. The communication and service were both stellar! I can't say enough good things about Midlothian Music!

This outfit TRULY cares about their customers. They have incredible communication, ship very fast, their prices are very competitive. They respond to questions within minutes and answer directly and expediently. I had an issue with the guitar I bought (not an issue they could control) and they worked their butts off to make things right and get a replacement out to me. They made a stressful situation as painless as possible. I can't recommend Midlothian Music enough!

Went in for my first guitar and being a beginner I had no idea what I was doing or what to get, all I knew was that I wanted an acoustic guitar. John was extremely helpful and talked to me in detail about the differences between certain guitars and what would be best as a beginner. You can tell he was very passionate about what he was doing. He wasn’t just “doing his job”. John also made sure to walk me through the process of taking care of the guitar and how to keep it in great condition. I ended up going with the Yamaha FSX800C and I couldn't be happier! It is a beautiful red color and sounds amazing! I recommend to anyone looking to buy an instrument especially if you are a beginner. Thanks for everything and will definitely be stopping by every few months!

Have purchased multiple instruments from Midlothian Music over the years. In stock, special orders or just doing research about what gear you’re in the market for. The staff never pressures but will cycle through as few or as many products as you ask to see, while trying to dial in the right instrument for you. Keyboards, guitars, Amps, violins, setups and new strings. We’ve bought a good deal and have never had a bad experience. Also coming at you is decades of experience and industry knowledge on what brands they carry and why. If you’re in the area and in the market for an instrument, this place is the best choice.

Very professional, kind and attentive employees, even better environment. Great higher end shop with some beginner/affordable guitars/basses/etc as well. Prices align perfectly with what you buy hands down, instruments are treated with great care before leaving in your hands.

I've known about this place for over 5 years now. I've only come in here a few times, since I never practiced guitar as much as I wanted to. Although every time I've stepped foot inside this store. The staff was NEVER anything but professional, friendly, and always willing to help. These men know what they are doing. I get my guitars serviced here because I trust their work. Remember that most people who have good experiences never leave a review. This is a great shop.

Stopped in on Saturday just to check out the store. Lots of nice new and used equipment. Guitar Center is putting themselves to shame, at least the Burbank store. Go here instead.

My daughter plays the trombone, guitar, ukulele and piano, they have it all and more at the best price including lessons. Midlothian Music has been around for years and have an outstanding knowledge of the industry. Their service is always courteous and friendly. Clean and organized shop with great hours as well. Highly recommend them!

I have taken vocal, cello, bass guitar, and guitar lessons through Midlothian Music. They are fairly priced, but I all depends on your own chemistry between you and your teacher. I think they do a great job helping you find a match with someone that works well with you. They owner and his son are super kind and also very helpful with lesson book recommendations, repairing guitars, etc. Would not recommend bringing band and orchestra instruments in here for repairs, they seem to be better with guitar and bass guitar repairs. That aside, they are a nice little business!

I always wanted to learn to play the guitar. I finally decided to go out and buy my first acoustic guitar. After checking out various music stores my search for the right guitar was over. The moment I stepped into Midlothian Music I was treated like I have been a long time customer of theirs. I had so many questions and being the first time buying a guitar John was such a huge help. He helped me find the right guitar for me. I totally recommend going here! From the experience I had, this will be the only place I will go! You definitely will not be disappointed with this great store!!!

I came to this store for to have my violin restrung, and Tim, one of the team members there, was super kind and very helpful in his recommendations. I commend Tim for going further in his excellent customer service, as he took some time to help me fix my violin case as well. This was a couple years ago from today, but i had an awesome experience. I had an issue with my guitar, so i brought it into their shop. It was way out of tune and the set up needed to be completely re-adjusted. These guys called me the next day and had it completely fixed up and ready to go. The guitar sounded 100 times better. I will definitely be back!

Came in here after randomly finding it after being in the area . The guys were unreal nice and we talked shop forever. Being a Lakland guy I was in heaven with how many they had, it’s unreal. From the sales guy to the owner they couldn’t have been nicer to me. I definitely will be coming back to get some strings or a Lakland! GO HERE!
