Olive + Elm is the best hair salon! Joann has done my hair for the last two years and I’d rate her service a 10/10 every time! The salon is managed very well and everyone there makes you feel important. I only wish it didn’t take me three years to find this place when I moved here.

Cannot recommend Olive + Elm highly enough! I originally wanted to continue using the same Oligo Calura colorline and treatment that I have been for several years. My former stylist in Pittsburgh found this salon for me and gave me the formula. It is more complicated and requires separate roots and ends formulas but does not require bleaching and allows me to have a subtle purple that fades nicely. I called Olive + Elm ahead of time and they matched me with JoAnn Rubio because of her knowledge of thick hair. I have been seeing Joann since late 2022 and while my hair style is not complicated (just a few face framing layers) it is a lot to work with.

I love this salon so much that I make the pilgrimage from Tucson once every three months to get my hair colored and cut and my brows done. I love that they use environmentally friendly products, have a green fee, are LGBQIA+ gender neutral pricing and also do not allow unaccompanied minors in the salon. As someone who has so much hair that she can spend up to five hours in the chair with two people working on it, having these perks are key!

JoAnn has also helped me with products for my hair since the desert is so dry and I spend so much time outside. The treatment keeps my ends healthy and so shiny. The salon also has birthday coupons and a point system you can use for products.

Always so happy to come and see JoAnn and the rest of the crew, I know she also have clients who make the pilgrimage from Cali to come and see her and it is clear why!

After many bad experiences at other salons, Kelsey gave me the best experience ever! She took great care to color and cut my hair and the results were amazing! I love the color she gave me and she listened to every thing I asked for. Definitely a great experience. I will be returning forever! Thank you Kelsey!

Always love my time at Olive and Elm. Eve is GREAT; even though it didn't effect me at all, there was a little wait with the client ahead of my daughter and I. I was totally fine with it and willing to wait a few, but another stylist (Kelsey), shampooed my hair and gave me a complimentary hair butter treatment...which was glorious. Totally unnecessary, but SO appreciated. My daughter and I are low maintenance, so we were in and out. Love coming to smaller, personal salons and cultivating relationships with the stylists. Go see Eve and the stylists at Olive Elm. :-)

Eve was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable with the length as she was trimming. It was so thoughtful! The salon is so cute and comfortable and I can’t wait until my next trim. Eve took me in at the last second which I’m so grateful for. I would recommend the salon to anyone!

Awesome haircut! I booked with Kelsey and she totally understood my hair and what I wanted! She listened to me and recommended things based on what I had told her. My hair has seriously never been better! She styled it so cute and made it feel so healthy!

Megan (and Mehgan) and everyone made me feel like a part of the family. The shop is clean, vibrant, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone is committed to their clients comfort and satisfaction. My wife, Melissa, referred me to Olive & Elm for the color and cut that I wanted. I sure am glad that she did. My color is EXACTLY what I wanted and the cut is perfect! I’m spoiled now. I won’t be going anywhere else for my hair care.

Amazing experience! Kelsey is phenomenal and listened to my ideas while still providing her professional option. I love that this salon is eco-friendly, which they reflect in their approach (eg, I had just washed my hair before my visit, so Kelsey did a dry cut which saved me money and saved water in the process). Their products are earth-conscious and animal friendly too. Their prices are surprisingly affordable (literally the most affordable haircut I’ve had in 10 years) without sacrificing quality. And the decor is gorgeous.
I LOVE this salon and absolutely will be back.

I love my hair and believe me that’s hard to say. But Carlie always gives me the best cut and I do love it. And one thing I love about her cuts are the way they hold the style when the start go grow out a little. All the ladies there are so incredibly nice. And the ambiance is wonderful.

Eve was my hairstylist and she was so amazing. I get nervous going to do my hair because I have very thick curly hair. She made the whole process so comfortable and really listened to my wants and needs. My hair turned out amazing. I will be going back for all my hair needs.

Short Hair: for the 50 years that I have had pixie-short hair, Carli was the first stylist who knew how to cut short layers all over, and make the overall shape look amazing. Just perfect for my face and the ‘look’ I requested. I have been to Carli multiple times and she has been very consistent with her styling. The salon was hip, without trying too hard, and customer service was exceptional.

Always get the best color and cut here!! I have seen a few different stylist over the 2 years I have been a client. Love everyone there!! Love hair Day!!! Thank Kelsey Garcia for always giving me exactly what I want.

(LGBTQ+ friendly salon, so inviting and so modern!!!) I had Elise do my hair and time at th it was her second day working at the salon! I told her I wanted BLONDE and as a blonde you know that when you want it blonde, you just crave that and she gave that to me. I really think she is going to do an excellent job at the salon. She also was someone who if you didn't want to talk, were tired or wanted to bring work in and do it, she would not be offended. I really enjoyed my time with Elise and definitely will go back. Thanks Elise for a great partial foil! 10/10 for first time at the salon. This place is safe and so special. I am also a small business owner so I know the value in providing a space like Olive and Elm and it is so well executed.

Great salon that cares about being less wasteful but also using high quality products. They got me started on R + Co and now I'm hooked. I see Lily and she is amazing! She listens to what I want and then delivers something even better. Her highlights look natural and I can go so much longer between appointments than I ever could with other stylists. Do yourself a favor and book with her ASAP!

Elise was very professional and listened while I explained what I was doing with my hair. It’s a work in progress growing out a very razored haircut, but the clean up was done very well to continue with the grow out. Very happy 😃 I would highly recommend Elise
