Everything we've ordered from there has been amazing! The vegetable chow mein is a wet chow mein? I was expecting fried noodles and was a little put off at first but it was delicious. Definitely get the fried dumplings and the pork egg rolls! Fried baby shrimp and chicken teriyaki on a stick were also awesome. Will definitely be ordering again!

We've been dining here for over 20 years. This is our "go-to" Chinese choice. We live about 30 min away, so we have other options, but still choose to come here. Their crab rangoons are the best around & love the chick teriyaki sticks! I, personally, am not a fan of fried rice or lo-mein (not a reflection on their food, theirs is good!) But those are hubbys "go-to" choices. I like things with veggies, meat, sauce & spicy. So anything mongolian is good. But also like chick & veggies, shrimp & veggies, etc. I like that you can request a dish that isn't normally spicy, to have a little heat added to it. And they will tweak items in a dish if you ask. I don't care for bamboo shoots, so always ask that they are left out. Not a tofu fan, but son loves their fried tofu dish. And yes, I tasted it & it is good. I just wouldn't ever order it for myself. Lol. Be prepared if you go in or call in during a Fri or Sat night, they are BUSY! I think last night was about a 35 min wait, but they were slammed!! The young man at the desk was answering phones, taking walk in orders, handing out call in orders, getting online orders off the comp, collecting money, etc. And the kitchen staff was hauling butt getting orders out. I don't mind waiting. To me, it is a sign they're doing something right since there are other food options in town yet people are still willing to wait to eat here. 😁

This was the first time me and my husband have ever come here and I have to say OMG!! It was sooooooo freakin good!!! Everything was made fresh and nothing was soggy or uncooked. The fried chicken was hot and juicy and crispy. The egg rolls had that awesome crunch and you could tell they were just made. My husband got the pepper steak with was so tender and juicy and I got the king pow chicken (no peanuts) which was spicy and juicy as well. We both got crab ragoons which were crispy and golden and the house rice which wasnt too chewy it was just right. If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would. It ALL was amazing!!!!!! Thank you China King!! Were truck drivers so good food is hard to come by on the road but this place took the cake and sprinkles!! Lol

I got the fried rice and crab rangoon. It was sooo good. the Crab rangoon are perfection. All around just good and quality ! The service is always amazing as well!

We were very happy with the food. It was outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable. But the service!!! Wow. They were so so nice and sweet. We brought our family of 10 here after a trip to St Louis - 8 kids and 2 adults. They brought the food out so nicely and even offered to serve it. While we were finishing up, a very kind women brought us a tray of 10 sugar donuts, complimentary. We are a family that takes very well to such special treatment. We were absolutely heartwarmed by the kind gesture. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place! Everything is clean, unusually for most Chinese restaurants.
Staff is friendly, and quick. It took less than 5 minutes for my food to be ready.
For almost 8$ I got huge bowl of delicious beef with onion, pepper and fried rice, fresh and not greasy egg roll,and small soft drink.
Highly recommend this place for truckers. Its only 10 min walk from Pilot.
Also, its is 4th July, and the restaurant is open, unlike many others in this town.

The order came out quickly, and it tasted great. Everything was packed up well, and portion sizes were as you'd expect per the order. You'll get what you're paying for, and the people are very pleasant there. If you're wanting typical Americanized Chinese food, this will fit the bill nicely for you. I'll be coming back again whenever I get the need for Chinese.

Food was amazing. Orange chicken and crab Rangoon were so incredibly good. Everyone was so nice to our crew of 10.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the chicken fried rice from China King in Troy and it was truly awesome. The dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a delightful balance of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The rice was fluffy and well-cooked, and the chicken was tender and juicy. It was evident that the chefs at China King put a lot of care and attention into their cooking, as every bite was bursting with flavor.

The restaurant itself had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff that made the dining experience even better. I would highly recommend China King to anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine, and especially for their amazing chicken fried rice. I cannot wait to visit again and try more dishes from their menu. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Best egg rolls ever and love their house special soup I have to get it at least once a week!

Seriously suprised how good it all was!! I orded the General Tso Chicken w/pork fried rice, which came with my choice of Egg Roll or Rangoon. I couldnt decide, so I got both! And its a good thing I did because, now I can recommend both!! That egg roll was PERFECTION and those rangoons....could save a life! Lol. The entree was DELICIOUS! We've been coming here for over 25 years! We've never found better crab rangoon anywhere. Even our adult kids, when back in the area, go here or to their Edwardsville location to get crab rangoon because they can't find it as good elsewhere. Food is always hot, tastes fresh & a good price. Customer service is great too. Highly recommended!

Food is good, especially their pork wonton soup!!!! Excellent small town Chinese place! The staff are patient and very accommodating and the food is always ready on time.

If you haven't been here, you are definitely sleeping on a gem.. why your restaurant isn't 5 stars 😕 I couldn't figure it out..
New to restaurant on my way through for work. Stopped at hotel & found out all restaurants were closing soon. I called for delivery at last minute to my hotel, it wasn't a problem! Unbelievable I was shocked to hear this.. I ordered thinking I would be happy to get some what edible food. Delivery man showed within a very reasonable time. I knew from the beginning of opening the packaging that someone took care in preparing my meal & then packaging it with great detail. Food was beyond what I expected.. Nothing but smiles & full bellys. Portions of food were definitely not lacking in size, more than enough. I didn't get to vist inside but I will make sure I swing in next time through. Thank you guys, keep up the good work..

We haven't been here in a while but we are glad to be back. The food is as great as ever. Must try the crab rangoon.

Their food is usually pretty good, but the last few times they have really stepped it up. My father in law is usually not one to suggest getting Chinese take out, but has twice in last month, so that’s saying something. I don’t know what changed but keep on keeping on! And the sauce for the dumplings was amazing last night. Please keep that up too it was sooooo good! Amazing ginger kick. Everything was perfect!

This Chinese takeout restaurant is excellent! The food is always high quality and fresh! The only downside is they are very popular so plan your order time accordingly.

They are AMAZING and are willing to customize a dish if asked!! SO polite and friendly not to mention how AMAZING their food is and at a reasonable price!!! I didn't think I'd find a Chinese restaurant that could compete with my beloved one from my hometown...but China King of Troy now has a home in my heart!

First I want to Thank China King for delivering to us over here at the TA truck stop and not charge a delivery fee. Especially since the truck stops restaurant is not opened due to COVID and China King wasn't doing any deliveries but did for us. The food was Awesome! Fresh and hot and fast. I will definitely eat here again every time I am in town. Thank You once again for helping us out with such great food China King.

This place is outstanding! The egg rolls are amazing and take great. The wonton soup and fried rice is so amazing. They also give you sauces and utensils. You can also buy a soft drink a log with your meal. They have a good dining area and fast takeout.
