Samurai Pig and Docrib are my favorites. Tried wings last time and they're amazing. Love this place. Service is great too. They keep your soda filled!

Went on a busy Saturday night so we had to wait for a table. The staff was great about working our large-ish party in as quickly as they could. We got seated, ordered and got our food. Food was dynamite. I had brisket and ribs and they were both cooked to perfection which certainly isn't as common as you would think. Usually something is overdone but all of our food was spot on. The Staff stayed attentive refilling drinks even though every table in the place was full. I will definitely be back. Great Q.

Went in based on many positive reviews. They were well earned. Had the brisket sandwich and corn casserole. Staff was attentive and friendly, food was very good. The corn casserole was unique and delicious. Just coming off some severe dental work, so wasn't up to the major items, like ribs yet. They had some unique menu items, a brisket Reuben, that sounded a bit odd but intriguing. Prices were reasonable, too. Recommended.

I ordered the burger with pulled pork and bacon on it. My wife ordered the beef brisket burger. Our total was about $33. Absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. We went during the dead period between lunch and dinner and our food was still hot and fresh. Will definitely be returning.

It’s so hard with all the bbq to really appreciate how good this place is. The food was incredible, from the meats to the sides. To be honest I’m a bbq prude, too many times I’ve had bad Cole slaw or beans but not here. Not this place. Go here, that’s the best review I can give. Go here, eat here, and be happy. Side note: the owner took the time to talk to us and she’s wonderful. At the end of the day, good food is good food, this is the place

Excellent pulled pork, tender brisket and the sauces are pretty good too. The seasoned and sweet potato fries are top notch.

Very good food. We had pork and brisket. The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Sweet potato fries were fresh and hot. Nice spot to eat in Edwardsville.

Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Cold drinks. And….the BEST pulled pork ever!!! I had the baked potato w/all the fixins and…pulled pork! Hubby got the nachos…w/more pulled pork. Alex was the cashier up front who recommended the Taco Tuesday…but since we came in on a Wednesday, it was not available. He asked around the kitchen to see if they could make it for us, but the manager was not in. To our surprise, the staff hooked us up with 2 large tacos to try!!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! (Thank you guys!!!) If you like bbq + tacos… you will LOVE this!!! Hubby describes it as: “…a wonderfully unexpected combination of pulled pork, corn bread, salsa, beans, cheese!” We will both be back for more! Great service & food!!!

PS. There are 4 bbq sauces to try - the Carolina Mustard surprised me! I didn’t think I would like mustard on my bbq but I found myself going back for more. I liked mixing the Hot & Spicy, Memphis Red, & Carolina Mustard. I found the Sweet & Smoky a lil too sweet for me. But the mixture was out of this world!!! Btw… here’s a fun fact: all 4 sauces are gluten-free AND vegan!!!! Enjoy & get your grub on!!!

Very good barbecue at a better price than you can find at a lot of other BBQ places. The meat was juicy and flavorful.
They have a few different sauces at the table, and they all tasted good to me, I used a mix of them on my sandwich. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the coleslaw, but that's probably just my taste.

One of the best BBQ places on either side of the river, absolutely you should try Doc’s. I recommend the Brisket and Burnt Ends, they’re super good, get either as a sandwich , add bacon, cheese and a tomato on top, it’s def a win. Great fries as well.

Stopped in today for lunch. Greeted quickly, reviewed and discussed some menu items with the staff, and decided on their signature brisket combo sandwich.
The brisket was cooked perfectly, great flavor and smoke. Trimmed nicely and served with a good quantity of meat. A nice thick cut with some other thinner slices. Great flavor and temperature.
The sweet potato fries (with the added sugar) were a delight. Crisp on the outside, great density and texture.
So glad I found this gem.

I have been wanting to visit this place for sometime. Everytime I come up from Florida I run out of time. This time I made the time and I am glad I did.....
Probably THE best pulled pork I have ever had. Ever!
I got two pounds of it and it was enough to serve 10 sandwiches. It was so good I just ate it by itself. Perfect flavor and wasn't dried out.
Just when I thought it couldn't get better....the burnt ends....OH MY GOODNESS....OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!!!! The flavor. The texture. Did I mention AMAZING??? I got a pound of those and ate it like candy with my fingers.
Also got a rack of ribs. They were perfectly flavored and fell off the bone. This place did NOT disappoint. My only disappointment was that it took me so long to go there. This place is a MUST!!!!

I’m from Ohio so I don’t get good bbq very often. I’m here to meet my daughter who lives in Oklahoma. These were the best ribs I’ve ever had!! I didn’t put a drop of sauce on them. Not needed!! I’d drive 6 hours again just to eat here!

Everything is always amazing. Love the brisket! Most sides are heavenly and homey. Sad they don't have apples anymore.

Great BBQ, gotta try the Memphis Red sauce, it was awesome on brisket! Place was packed on a Friday night but got a table quickly. Food took a little bit longer.

Stopped through for a quick bite while traveling. This place did not disappoint! I got the special which was the Samurai Pig sandwich.

It was a perfectly smoked chunk of pork that had a crunchy breading and was seasoned with an Asian BBQ sauce. The seasoned fries and Mac n cheese as sides were amazing.

We visited Doc’s Smokehouse for the first time on Saturday and were thoroughly pleased with the food and service. We both got the brisket sandwich with seasoned fries/sweet potato fries and didn’t leave much behind. The fries were seasoned perfectly with some sort of sweet seasoning and the brisket just melted in your mouth. Would love to go there again and try something new and dine on the fries again. 😋

Docs’s has some of the best BBQ in the St. Louis area. From the burnt ends to the side selection, they don’t miss. They have amazing customer service and I’ve never had an incorrect to-go order. Also family owned.
