My husband and I had a great experience with the purchase of a used 2015 Honda Civic with 46K miles. Mike is a personable, senior salesperson with integrity and customer service. He knows what the customer needs and is willing to help as much as he can. The biggest issue with going to a dealer you don't know, is trust - this value needs to be earned, and for that, it takes time, listening and communicating clearly what you can and cannot do. Mike earned my trust over the phone; he provided all the information I requested before I decided to drive 45 min from Kirkland to their car lot in Auburn. The transaction went very smoothly with the whole team - Mike, Tyler (kind and trusted sales back up person for Mike), Brian (company owner who greeted me with a smile), and DJ (Finance expert who handled the paperwork). For anyone purchasing a car out there, ask all your questions, line up your car inspection if you feel like you need one, and go in person to know who you're working with. I had an excellent experience with all the people at Sunset of Auburn. We just bought a car from them yesterday. I was in desperate need of a second vehicle as my wife drives the only car we owned at the time. We have pretty bad credit and very little to put down on a new car. Yet somehow the incredible staff at sunset got me into a car I didn't even think was in my options. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional and honest with me. Mike was great, super patient in finding the right fit for my daughter’s first car. The rest of the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable as well.

We bought a 2011 Toyota Sienna from Sunset back in 2019. It's now 2023 and I can say that the van has been amazing for us. I know a lot of car buying is luck of the draw, but the salesman, Chris, was super chill and nice throughout the whole process. The dealership was great with our 2 kids as well. We had a small hiccup with a missing signature on our down payment check, and they were very nice and understanding about getting everything taken care of. Not sure if Chris is still there or not, but he was cool enough to go back and buy from again.

I am more than happy with my buy at sunset. Chris Smith was the dealer that I worked with and he was over the top with customer service. I walked into the lot not really sure if I’d be approved, or how hard the process would be. Chris was able to calm my nerves and helped the process along the whole way, and even came in on his day off to get the delivery of the car to me. Thank you to all of you at sunset! Anthony and John are great to work with! I originally went to take a look at a Lexus RX but was sold when I had chance to look it. But I saw an Acura MDX which I liked even better, which Anthony worked with me over several days to get a deal done (by email & texting). While waiting for my flight out of town for SB weekend, he made me an offer that I gladly accepted. When I returned home a few days later I signed the papers to get my MDX! Then John (finance guru) got me great financing terms that night, however he said he would talk to some of the other banks the next morning since it was late in the evening. So the next day when I returned to drop off my deposit, he said the credit union offered me a better financing deal than the bank last night. It was a much lower interest rate and lower payments, which the first offer was pretty good in itself!
There was none of the typical 'car sales shell game' where they try to beat you down over several hours to make a deal. Sunset Cars does NOT play that kind of game! I mostly texted Anthony with what kind of deal I was looking for and I told him what kind of financing I would like to get. Which Anthony and John exceeded my expectations in both aspects.
And the MDX is in great condition and runs smoothly. Anthony told me the history of Sunset Cars, how they get their cars from high end dealers, how they inspect and fix them if any issues, they have their own garage with SAE qualified technicians working there. I would highly recommend Sunset Cars of Auburn...

After not driving for several years due to a stroke, I was finally physically and mentally ready to get another vehicle. I had picked one vehicle out on-line and Simon found a better deal for me and had it ready to look at when I got there. Adam and the group are awesome and Simon is terrific.

We found Sunset Auto while looking for a new car; we decided to head down and take a look at a Honda we were interested in due to their good reviews and the car price! We definitely weren’t disappointed! I’d definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a used car, especially if you’re looking to pay cash. They were straight forward, honest, walked us through everything, and gave us a great deal. The process was so simple and we couldn’t be happier. I purchased a truck from these guys back in May, I’ve been waiting to make sure everything continues to run smoothly before a write this review. I can honestly say the crew here went above and beyond my expectations.

This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and not a private owner. Not only were they extremely patient and professional but I was able to negotiate the price down by over 1000$, they were also able to get me a loan at 6% when other dealerships in the area were quoting me at 8%.

Im very happy with my purchase. I did happen to buy a 2016 Chevy with very low miles. Keep in mind, this is a Used dealership, not every vehicle is equal. If you do your due diligence to research your vehicle, buy with low miles and car fax, this crew will help you get the best deal possible. Thanks guys.

Simon was a great salesman. He made sure I got the car I wanted instead of trying to put me in anything. He is very polite and well mannered. He did an excellent job. I would recommend anyone to go see him if your looking to purchase a vehicle.

Very, happy with Sunset Cars! I will be using them again, for my next car purchase in 6 months. I was browsing online for quite some time and after finding a AWD, low mileage compact SUV @ Sunset, I called and told them what time I would be arriving (as I was coming from N. Seattle.) Michael had the car pulled up, ready to go upon arrival. As woman and POC walking onto a car lot is often a bad experience. It was not assumed that I knew nothing about cars and I was not pressured iyn any wa. I test drove the car, stated I'd like to move forward and the whole process took about an hour and a half. I work a part time job and the rest of income is from a private business and financing was a breeze. GO TO SUNSET CARS and have a different car-buying experience!

Javier was excellent! His customer service was absolutely impeccable! My wife and I had been looking for a car all day and the car dealers weren’t very professional or welcoming. I had been looking for a family vehicle for over 3 weeks and could not find something reliable for a good price. Lucky I contacted Javier and he was more than happy to offer me options. Wonderful way to get out a first car to a customer! I had a set limit budget and didn’t have to blow through my savings with the team here. I contacted a man by the name of Javier, and didn’t regret it. Made me feel comfortable as I’m a first time cad buyer. On top of that had the right car facts for me and all! Me being military I felt the love out there at Sunset Auto of Auburn. Gonna send all my homies here when they are searching for a new vehicle! 10/10
