Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown

We had a great stay at this hotel. We arrived from the airport about 8 am and even though check in time was several hours later, the extremely gracious clerk (Anna) checked us in without an extra charge and invited us to have breakfast in their buffet room. Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The king bed and pillows were super comfy . Their full breakfast was really just that. They even offered an oatmeal topping bar and even though I hate oatmeal I couldn’t help but have some after seeing all the possibilities. The mango syrup on a fresh made Belgian waffle was yummy. They even offered rice and vegetables for those not wanting a traditional American breakfast. I noticed the woman who seemed to be over the breakfast buffet was attentive - things were kept clean, hot and full. Later in the day fresh baked cookies were offered for guests. They also had to large water dispensers - one with cucumbers, the next time I saw it there were orange slices in it. The area seemed safe and a pretty close drive to things we wanted to do. These may all seem like small things but I believe if a hotel is paying attention to small things, they are also taking care of the big things. I would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Great rooms and incredible service! Stay was comfortable and staff went above and beyond! They were very friendly and accommodating, I checked in late and also checked out early and was helped courteously both times. Bed was comfortable and room was very spacious. Great hotel!

This is the nicest Residence Inn. I’ve ever stayed at. Oddly though, the Marriott signage was not obvious and had to be pointed out to me. You would not know it was Marriott unless you were looking for it. It is such a nice hotel and the suspended fireplace in the foyer I would want everyone to know is this is a Marriott.

Five overall rating as it's a great value for the price. Good cental location. Huge hotel by Residence inn standards, I think there's conference space downstairs which is unusual. Huge lobby restaurant and seating space. Nice little Rivue bar (Tiffany with great service). Breakfast was very good selection. Rooms are definitely dated and far past overdue for a refresh, hotel owner needs to spend the money. 1990s feel and materials. Lobby staff was always friendly. Would absolutely book again for business needs.

Comfortable extended stay suites with kitchenette and a good desk. Just about a mile from the heart of Bellevue, it's within the free Circuit ride area.

Staff were lovely, and breakfast & coffee were delicious.

Great place, rooms are a bit crowded with furniture to fit all of the expected extended stay amenities. Service was great rooms are clean, hotel is quiet, nice game area with pool and shuffleboard near the lounge.

Great location and it’s a well run residence inn. Staff are very friendly. the rooms are really spacious and clean. I’d like the location since it’s really close to the freeway but also pretty walkable to pretty much anything you need in Bellevue but without the downtown Bellevue prices.

My go-to when visiting my daughter at UW. 15 minute drive from hotel to university. Rooms are very nice and clean and there are numerous restaurants and stores in the area. Much cheaper than booking on the west side of the lake.

We stayed here for three nights and were very satisfied with everything. I had apprehensions because of some of the reviews, but our experience was very different. Most important for us in any hotel is that we were able to turn down the temperature and make the room cold. (Below 68). The room was comfortably updated. The appliances seemed almost brand new. It is true there are no ice makers in the hotel because each room has an ice maker in the freezer. Inconvenient when we first arrived, but it produced ice relatively quickly after turning on the ice maker and by the 2nd night there was more than we could use. There is a daily $14 parking charge. If you park in the lower level spots the entry door is right next to the elevators, much closer than going in through the lobby. There is a free shuttle to downtown Bellevue so you can avoid paying to park down there. The bathroom has a typical porcelain tub/shower (not fancy glass doors) but we did not run out of hot water and the pressure was good. The staff was friendly. When I asked for an extra blanket I was handed one at the desk, no issue at all. Excellent stay, would recommend and will stay there again.

Maria (PM staff)is amazing. She is courteous, extremely helpful. She made sure our stay here in Residence Marriott is comfortable and pleasant. Just writing this review because i had a wonderful time here, everyone is friendly if you’re friendly. If you’re more reserved they respect your space.
The part i loved the most ware the house keepers and their supervisors they ware laid back and respectful hard working ladies.

Have stayed here a few times when visiting Seattle since it is a short drive away. Always enjoy our stay. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and spacious, elevators come quickly, and parking is close. Will continue staying here for future trips.

Everything about my stay that was in the employee's control was near perfect. They've done a great job hiring and training here. All staff knew what they were doing and how to do it correctly and quickly. Parking my huge vehicle was my only complaint, but it was doable. Rooms were top notch for the $$.

Patricia (front desk) was very welcoming. We are now members thanks to her. All staff is very kind and this place is super clean. This is well worth the value especially for a family like ours of 7. We are looking forward to visiting Seattle area again as we love the shopping and restaurants. This is our new go to place! Thank you and Have a blessed new year.

Husband and I accidentally double booked 2 hotels for 1 night instead of consecutive nights. We called the other hotel, was told too bad, then called Residence Inn, and we were able to bump up our reservation with no problems! Anandhi was especially kind and patient with us. Thank you, Anandhi!

All around our stay here was wonderful! The adorable little kitchen was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. With customer service and comfort like this, the Residence Inn has become a favourite of ours, and we will definitely be choosing them again!

I've stayed here multiple times in the last 2 years for work contracts. The staff is always great and it's been very nice to see several of the same smiling faces throughout all of my stays. They are all wonderful and professional! Kate Hudson was great to work with, and she helped with all of my ever-changing, booking needs. Breakfast seems to be continually improving. Waffles, oatmeal, and bacon were among my favorites, but they have a variety of hot and cold options. The hotel and staff were very accommodating to me and my dog. Multiple stations with doggie bags outside that were always well attended. The walk around the block includes scenic views, including a wood bridge over a stream with the Bellevue skyline as a backdrop. There are other easily accessible areas you can take your dogs as well. Located right at the edge of downtown Bellevue making the entire city very accessible. Easy access to 520 and i90 to enter Seattle or head towards Snoqualmie falls/pass. With normal traffic, you can get to UW Medical Center or UW football stadium in about 15 minutes. Overall a wonderful location, comfortable room, and excellent staff. Highly recommend it.

Great service. The room was well appointed with everything, including microwave and fullsized fridge, and the hot breakfast was a plus. $14 a night for parking was a bit much, but there was no other way to park your car in the area. Close to the 405 for easy access to Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, or Seattle. Prices were ok.

It was close to where I needed to be and kept up the standard for this chain. Everything was great.
