This is such a neat hole in the wall...it down a flight of stairs. The baked items looked really delicious. My mother had a bacon molasses cookie. She said that she couldn't taste the bacon. We had lunch at Isabelle's because the menu looked really great (and it was). My parents had a bowl apiece of Barley soup with a packet of Oyster crackers. They both said the soup was warm and hit the spot. I could see Barley being drudged up out of the tomato based broth. I had a gobbler sandwich. I selected it to be on sourdough bread. The stuffing was warm...paired with the cool lettuce...yum. The turkey was thicked carved (not deli) with little cranberry sauce. Served in a basket with wavy chips. The drink selection was not vast. I picked an organic apple juice...it was juice...I could taste the organic?. When I give the atmosphere a low score. It is really just a simple little place. It was kind of loud. The person behind the counter deserves a 6th star out of five. She took orders, was making food, and serve it table side. The best was her smile. The food and the service are really what makes this place...oh and the gingerbread whoopee pie. Worth a visit!

Update: Went back for breakfast. I had the Breakfast BLT. It was delicious with a nicely cooked egg. I was right about the baked goods. I had a maple walnut scone. It was excellent

Probably One of the best places to get something in Freeport, very nice entrance, nice little hang out, and the Staff Are Kind! 5 Stars, I recommend, if you are looking for a place to get a quick rest, quick bite, or coffee, this is the place.

Second time visiting Isabella's and it's just as fantastic as I remember it. Small cafe with amazing food and baked goods. We stopped in for breakfast this morning before heading back home to NJ. I had the Eastern omelette with amazing whole wheat toast and my wife had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an incredible ciabatta roll. We also ordered a grilled blueberry muffin. With butter added, this was insanely good. Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This was my 2nd time visiting and I wish I lived close enough because this is the best bakery I've ever been to. The cinnamon rolls are perfect and everything else is really good too. My mom had a blueberry muffin and she said it's the best she's had. The employees are really sweet too. If you're in Freeport, don't pass this up!

Down some stairs and into a smallish area, we found breakfast heaven! The servers were helpful and charming, and our omelets were amazing.

We're passing by the area and stopped by for a quick breakfast after reading positive reviews online. A true gem in Freeport. Such a positive attitude, quick service and delicious food makes this place a definitely go to if you are in the area. Highly recommend and will be back next time around.

Honestly, the only thing I come here for is the cinnamon rolls, so I can't speak to their other offerings. The coffee is good, but let's focus: cinnamon rolls. These are the closest to fresh homemade cinnamon rolls as I have found anywhere in the area. Most places make them really wide and flat, hoping that you'll be too overawed by the size to notice how dry they are. But these...oh, these are soft and moist and delicious, and actually recognizable as a yeast dough with that little bit of stretchy texture. *sigh* I also really appreciate the service here. Stephanie is super friendly, and offers to warm up your bakery choice before you can even ask. I don't go often because Freeport is a little out of my way, but when I do I always check to see if this cafe is open.

It's a lovely, artsy, cozy spot with delightfully friendly, and helpful service. And of course the food is delicious, that's why we came back. Great breakfast food, pancakes, burritos and more, even during lunch hours.

Off main street and a gem of a place. Very pleasant staff, the owner visited the tables to ensure the customers were satisfied with their meals. My wife and I had the turkey stew and split a turkey club sandwich... It was fantastic!! First time we had turkey stew and it was so good that my wife is looking for a recipe on line.

Wow! Great little cafe and bakery. Got the Rachel sandwich and Cobb salad with balsamic dressing. That is THE BEST salad dressing I have ever had. Great iced coffee as well. Amazing value for 2 people for lunch.

Great little Cafe. Was greeted with a smile and had great hospitality. Food was so good. Had the lemon blueberry scone that I shared with my husband and then the boursin omelet. Everything was delicious.

We stayed in Freeport 8/2016, a block or so away at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was charging $10.95pp for what looked like a lousy breakfast so we walked up to Isabella's Cafe & Bakery and for about the same cost as the hotel breakfast we were much happier. It was AWESOME!! Try their Maine blueberry pancakes, sticky bun french toast or loaded hash, everything was amazingly delicious! If we every come through this way again, we will definitely stop here again!

Little steps lead down to a little experience all its own made to order breakfast with amazing service. The young woman at the register was very kind and forward with quick menu information. Small town feeling got quite a pop with a few families coming in! French toast was very filling Egg bacon lettuce tomatoe sandwich yummm!

Always happy to see my favorite breakfast sandwich on the specials board: fried egg, cheddar, tomato, pesto (I think they forgot the spinach today - or maybe I misread the menu - but it's delicious without)! Served on a yummy ciabatta bun. Small, quaint place.

This is a cute Mom & Pop place with incredibly yummy, reasonably priced food. The owner was working the register while managing the place well. I like the flow of the place, order at the register, find a table, and they'll bring it out to you. Do yourself a favor and gey the cinnamon roll french toast 🤤
This is a great place to pop in for breakfast or brunch. I've had lunch here, too and had the Thanksgiving sandwich during the fall. I get cravings for it every once in a while. I'll have to make sure to get back there this fall!
