I visited in late September 2023. There weren't many people. At the final point of Route 66, there was a line of people waiting to take photos in front of the Route 66 signboard.
Since I used Uber, I don't know if there will be a parking fee.
The shopping district near the beach is also recommended.

ビーチの近くにあるショッピング街もお勧めです．

Gorgeous panoramas. Crowded, and in 98° F heat, the homeless persons on benches wearing three layers of clothes never helps. Besides that, the boardwalk is in good repair, and parking is ample.
