Great Veterinarian Clinic!

Knowledgeable, professionals. All of the physicians I've seen here are superb. The front staff & technicians are also top notch. Wait times are always minimal. Prices are reasonable in these trying times. The clinic is spotless and very sanitary. Staff take several minutes to understand the reason and purpose of your visit. Then this is transmitted to your clinician and you have time to discuss it again a second time.

During my career, I worked in Emergency Departments for nearly 40 years as a clinician, and this above redundancy is purposely built in to laser focus, and be certain no detail is left out. This process allows you to condense & clarify the purpose of your visit without leaving out important details.

This facility is specializing in a fear based wholistic medicine approach. It certainly is focused upon reducing fear and anxiety in your companion.

Unquestionably and without reservation I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility and their staff.

Great experience today with Dr. Norman. He was thorough and didn’t miss a beat. He reviewed her prior chart/records and covered all the bases including her teeth, meds, vaccines, exam, and chronic illness.

He was super knowledgeable about every single bump on her little body! He kept me informed, educated me, and gave me choices. He was on the floor (literally) trying to win our pup over from the second she got to the exam room. Wow.

Honest, smart, kind, thorough. Huge fan and could not be happier with how he handled her care today.

We use their Fear-Free program on our Pitbull Terrier and it is awesome Dr. Radding is so great with him she takes her time with him so he doesn’t get upset at all. The Technician was also great, he absolutely will not let us cut his nails at home and he let her cut all of them without getting anxious. All the staff are very nice I highly recommend using them.

If there were 10 stars a, I would give it a ten. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smile & they are all so nice to you and could not be any better with my little kitty. She was such a good girl in the examining room which was all set up with the things Pia could explore! The girls are so happy tp pick up the carrier & take her in to her room. Dr. Radding is a delight and she was just great with her & thid was Pia,s 1st experience going to a Veterinary Doctor outside of being seen by a vet at the breeders! I think Pia was so enthused with all the different toys she didn’t care about anything else. Everyone was so happy to meet Pia for the 1st time. My family uses Dr. Radding for our big Cane Corso & they recommended Dr. Radding highly & I will also recommend the hospital to everyone myself. It is spotlessly clean & the staff is just great!!!

Caroline Radding and the whole staff at Freeport Veterinarian Hospital has been wonderful to me and my service dog. They have detected cancer early on so we were able to cure him of it for many many more years. The compassionate care the staff show my pup is heartwarming. I’ve been taking my dogs to Freeport Vet for 15 years. I have always experienced professional and very compassionate care from all techs and especially Dr. Radding. When the sad day arrived to put my yellow lab to rest the team at Freeport Vet was truly exceptional. Can’t say enough positive things about this place.

I followed Dr. Chris Norman from Sunray. He is, in our eyes, the best Vet around. We trust him and really appreciate his gentle care of our Wee Iris. She is so tiny, and he takes such wonderful care with her. Calm and gentle, she loves him. She will shiver and shake in the exam room until he walks in, then she calms right down.
Also the front desk was very friendly and warm when we arrived. I was impressed at the set up of the clinic and exam rooms were comfortable and very clean. Thank you again for taking on Dr. Norman...we are so happy that he is virtually still just down the road. :)

Always the best service! We love the Fear Free practice and that they don’t charge us to see the vet when we just need shots. We also value that we can call/email with questions, which doesn’t immediately result in a visit! 10/10!

After moving to Maine with my boyfriend and our cat, I knew we would need to find a good local vet. After asking around at my job for recommendations, I was pointed to Freeport Veterinary Hospital. Right off the bat I loved their no-fear practice, and appreciated how cats were kept to one side of the waiting room while dogs were on the other. My cat Toby is quite timid, so an excited dog bouncing about would make him quite distressed. Once we adopted Bailey from the ARLGP, we also took him here to be seen.

Every vet we've met with has been attentive and informative. I always felt like they had my pet's best interests in mind, and were always gentle with both cats at all their appointments. I would highly recommend Freeport Vet to anyone in the local area looking for a friendly and professional environment for their fur-babies.

It was well organized and the lights were amazing. We're planning on coming back in the spring to see what the gardens really look like.

Dr. Radding and staff are amazing! They truly practice “fear free”. They are compassionate, flexible, and extremely patient. Communication is so easy and timely. We are so grateful to have found this practice.

My mom had to find a Vet for her cat who had become sick rather quickly. She was very happy to be seen here as they had a wonderfully friendly and very caring staff and the doctor was so nice. As it turned out my mom had to have her cat put to sleep he was very sick. The doctor was so kind and even gave my mom a hug and gave her the cats pawprints memorial plaque. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great office to take your fur babies to.

Not only do I appreciate the quality of care my animals were given, but also how I was treated. I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in the door. The staff is very friendly, courteous and always patient and considerate when I call to ask questions.

I have been bringing my many pets to Frpt Vet since the 1980’s. Staff has always been very good to all of them. When Carolyn Radding and her staff came on board they added the wonderful component of taking care of our many people as well as our fur family. They have loved each of our “kids” and always been there emotionally for them and all of us. Our family has been blessed to find such a kind, comforting, and competent group. They truly “get it, get us” when it comes to our beloved family animals. Thank you all from all of our hearts.

I have never had anything other than a stellar experience at this practice. Both of my dogs look forward to their treats and belly rubs, while the doctors, technicians, and admin staff go above and beyond to ensure that the pets they see have everything they need seamlessly. We’ve gone here for everything from routine checkups to oral surgery and have felt like part of the family at every turn.

We dropped our son-in-law and his dog here. The little dog loves this place, always excited to visit because the staff are friendly and competent. The sign by the door says "Fear Free Zone" and it surely applies for this dog!

A+! Outstanding Veterinary Practice! The doctors and staff are incredibly kind and caring. They always go above and beyond to make sure pets are well cared for and happy. I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved elderly dog, Joey. Dr. Gagnon and Becky very kindly explained the procedure and compassionately walked me through the steps to saying
goodbye. I have had dogs continuously since I was in my late teens. I'm now 73. That's a Lot of Dogs! Unfortunately, I have
had to go through the painful process of putting my dogs to sleep but the protocols used at Freeport Veterinary made
that process so much less painful. Thank you to all! This is by far the best practice I have ever used! A wonderful clinic with wonderful employees!
