Auto Mile Diner

Is a nice little place. It is very small, and It has a feel of eating at somebody's house. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent, and the right amount for the price. Is right around the corner to the Saco/Orchard beach KOA. So if you're camping there is a good place to go. I highly recommend it.

Great food! Large portions fair prices, the owner is unapologetically flamboyant in all the best ways. They have the best Turkey Dinner too. No complaints!

A quaint little breakfast diner with all the charm you would expect. The food is diner classic fair well prepared. The staff are a gas. The waitress is delightfully sassy and the cook does in fact sing! I thoroughly recommend stopping in for a bite.

Stopped for breakfast on my way to Portland, the man cooking had the radio on and he was singing away! Good voice, great food! A lot of regulars here so it must be good!

Simple diner with great food and great service. It was our first time and we will be coming back. We were on our way to Funtown and decided we would like to eat breakfast first. We were in and out in a short time which is what we were hoping. It is a small space but they really move things at a quick pace!!

As a Local Guide out of my area..we explore and confirm others. But when a small gem(place) is found it is believed our duty to get you there. So get here if you are looking! Very good food, small, laid back atmosphere with very reasonable prices! I had the 2 egg, home fries, sausage gravy and biscuit special.

All I can say is George is one heck of a people person. We were more than impressed by the whole experience. Blueberry muffins are a 10 on the rating scale. Food, exquisite!!!
I can’t say enough about the whole experience. Please stop in for yourself and see that our experience is exactly what I’m saying. You will have memories forever trust me.

Outstanding food. Loved this place so much we drove around 30 min because we could not remember the name. Very friendly/funny staff.

Stopped on a whim and had one of the best meals ever. The staff are kind and funny. The food was delicious with large portions. What a great find! Scarborough is lucky to have this gem.

What a lovely little place! We are so glad that we didn’t listen to some of the negative reviews. The owner was a charming guy, with a quick wit. He even sang to us all while serving tables. Talked about how much he loved his dogs, so you know he must be alright!!! The food was spot on, and the diner quaint. Definitely a fun experience!

It was my 1st time here today and it was a great place to go. I had French toast and sausage, which was very good. George was very courteous and friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Just a small local diner but a wonderful home town place to have breakfast! Really good food, good portions and at a reasonable price. The owner is a hoot and addressed a lot of people by name when they came in. So obviously repeat business! I highly recommend!

Awesome place run by super friendly people. This was our first visit, but all the other customers seemed like they knew each other and have been coming for years. Food was great, lots of classics to choose from, and some unexpected specials. Great find.

Found this by chance on a road trip round New England. A fantastic place with great staff. Best corn beef hash of our trip. Blueberry muffins were wonderful too. Hats off to George and team.

Second time eating there. The owner/server is professional and courteous but extremely friendly and amusing. Although a small place it has an extremely diverse menu which is well prepared and ample for the hungry appetite. Prices are very fair. They also have delicious home baked goodies you can purchase on your way out. Lunch is also available. It is a half hour away but well worth the drive. Take out and curb side offered as well.

I like to share my take on some of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my travels and with no exaggeration, I have to say this is the best diner I’ve ever been to, food wise. Ever. The food here is amazing. We shared the eggs and hash, steak and cheese omelette and blueberry pancakes. Everything was amazing but the hash was extra special. It was made from scratch and to this day I sometimes have the urge to hop in my car and take the 2 1/2 hour trip up north just for the hash! Incredible job! Can’t wait for our next trip up to Maine!
