Day's Hardwood

This is a great business run by woodworkers. I worked mostly with McKay. He knows wood but he also knows woodworking. He has experience and expertise in helping you understand what you can do with a given species. Since he has a complete woodworking shop on site, for a very reasonable rate, he can do rough cutting, joining and planing. McKay loves wood and you are essentially buying from the same stock he uses for his own projects. It's a pleasure doing business with him.

It's refreshing working with a capable staff in a welcoming environment. The lumber selection at Day's has been fantastic and the help from Jeremiah especially has been invaluable. Day's Hardwood is the right size to not feel overwhelming but, at the same time, have enough stock on hand to accommodate all but the largest projects with plenty of ability to special order. Check these cats out!

McKay was super helpful, interested in my projects and provided some great pieces for me. He evan planed some live-edge maple for me.
