Bua Thai

We visited the beach in February (sunny but super cold) and were delighted to find this restaurant open. There was no table service (staff shortage), however, we were able to order a takeout and then eat inside. The service was quick and friendly. E had chicken vegetable delight and chicken pad si ew and the food was delicious! 👍🏻

Blown away!!! My husband and I ordered the drunken noodles, the pork dumplings and dipping sauce, the mango, cashew, & shrimp fried rice and the bread/rice pudding. The dumplings are a thicker dough which I have been searching for over the course of 20 years!! (as opposed to the standard potsticker) The flavors for everything were fresh and had depth. A wonderful surprise! By far the best in the area!!!! Thank you for a scrumptious treat!!!! I would add photos, but we devoured it all!!!!!

We got takeout that was out of this world good. Mango fried rice, drunken noodle, and pad Thai. Also potato appetizer. Tofu was done perfectly. I could have gone back for more even though I was stuffed. Lady that waited on us for the order was very sweet.

Amazing Thai food is always fresh and always delicious, and my order is always right!
My go-to for Thai. I pass 3 to others to get here. Well worth it.

Unbelievably good food. Everyone in the house agreed that it was the best Thai Food they’ve ever had. Can’t wait to have it again next time we are up at OOB!

Perfect flavor, Perfect spice. Can tell they take pride in their work and do it in a safe manner. I've eaten Thai all over and this one Hits the spot. Would eat again if in town!

Bua Thai is amazing! When we go and get food, we see that they are always taking precautions to keep customers safe and happy. They excellent COVID precautions and they thoughtfully left a space heater out for patrons while they wait. Everything we've tried from the menu is delicious. They are generous with their portions. They get food ready fast! Great place for takeout.

AMAZING food! We ordered the dumplings, pad Thai, fried rice and sticky rice and it was all 10/10! We ordered online and went to pick up, they have a camera and speaker at the front and a little pick up window. Super Covid friendly. We would highly recommend Bua Thai!

Not only was my food hot but it was delicious. They have fresh ingredients and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the food their serving. 10/10 will continue to go there. The drunken noodles and fried ice cream are amazing and my fiancé’s pad Thai was also amazing.

Ordered on Monday and Thursday 8/9 and 8/12 while visiting Saco. 2 solid takeout orders, no issues. Portions were generous and well presented with vegetables. Spicy pad Thai was great but the mango beef fried rice was the star 🌟 both times. Pu pu platter for 1 was well worth the price and even included dipping sauce for all the items in it. Ordered ahead online through their website, though there was a $1.50 'convenience fee', the orders were ready at stated times both times. The lady working the window has a very meticulous system in place for the pandemic which while different was well run. NOTE: If you're trying to order at the window, there is a speaker set up in which she is wearing a headset, so i can see some confusion in orders being messed up in communication, and another reason that a small fee, which likely isn't in the restaurants control, is well worth ordering exactly what you want, how you want it and being ready on arrival. The containers did leak slightly due to them being packed full, so be mindful of placement when picking up, and the location could use some updating, but I was here for the food and so 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

First time trying this place and loved it. We got the mango friend rice, masamen curry, vegetable tempura, and steamed vegetable dumplings, and Thai tea. Food was hot and plenty for left overs.

This woman was in front of me was screaming at the worker inside about how long her food was taking and they handled it very well. Please treat restaurant industry workers well in this time as most restaurants are understaffed and very busy. Generous portions and best Thai food in the state.

A bit of an odd experience interacting with the walkup window and intercom system, but we got our food quickly and my family of 4 all loved everything we got from chicken fried rice to orange chicken and teriyaki salmon. Some of it Gluten-free!
Will definitely return next time we're in the area.
