The Mooring Bed & Breakfast

We had an amazing one night stay in mid October '23.
The room, the house and the location were spectacular. Karen is a wonderful host and great cook. The breakfast was lavish and filling - we were all set for a day of exploring at Reid State Park. The park is just down the road and a must see for ocean lovers. Thank you Karen and family for sharing this place with us. We hope to come back for a longer stay next time.

My husband and I got married here in 2020. It was everything I dreamed of and more. Food is amazing, rooms are comfortable, view is spectacular. The house and gardens are gorgeous. Renee is a rockstar at what she does and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Beautiful property and cozy rooms! The breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. Our host, Karen was friendly and helpful. She knows lots about the area and it’s history and was able to give us great information to enjoy our stay.

A peaceful, lovely stay! Our accommodations were just right. Very clean and comfortable, our room was perfect. Bedding very comfy and room temperature was great. When I woke in the morning, I entered the kitchen to the aroma of bacon cooking. Renee presented us with a breakfast worthy of a photo! We ate on the lovely deck overlooking the Ocean. Just beautiful. Lovely accommodations, fantastic, friendly service. Thank you.

I loved our first visit to The Mooring! felt welcome the moment we arrived. Absolutely beautiful home and gardens . If there were a 10 star rating it would be my choice. Penny is wonderful and a great cook as breakfast was awesome every day. Definitely going to visit again and sit on the lovely deck and watch the ocean...

We did the catering option with lobster and chicken. The folks were extremely kind and helpful! The lobster, coleslaw, and chicken was very juicy and flavorful. Definitely hope to see more of this business in the future!

We had a wonderful week at the Moorings, Peggy was the consummate host. The Inn is very homy, relaxing, and beautifully appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for the quintessential costal Inn.

My wife and I got married here and come back each year for our anniversary. Penny is fantastic, very affordable compared to other Maine options. Highly recommend this place.

Had a private lobster dinner there for my sister's wedding. It was Amazing! Great friendly staff, excellent service! Top of the line and beautiful view to top it all off. Very impressed!!

I attended a weeding at The Mooring, so I can't speak to the accommodations. However, the grounds we're lovely and the wedding was stunning. Against the backdrop of the water it couldn't have been more picturesque.

This B&B is top of the line. Service, hospitality, location, comfort, and the owners are well-versed in customer satisfaction. They know just how to take care of their guests. We felt very comfortable here, and look forward to a return visit.
