Quarry Road Trails

Diamond in the rough in Waterville. Can get muddy after a rain but a very wonderful place to walk or take the dogs.

Great spot for biking some trails. Might want to grade the road in before someone loses an axle.

Lots of great trails here for running, biking, and everything in between. Walk near the water for some bird watching - we saw an eagle this past weekend. A little damp in places, but will dry up soon.

Snowmaking, excellent grooming, a variety of terrain including challenging climbs, and lights at night. This is a fantastic facility, especially now that natural snow can be hard to find.

Great place to hike, walk, run, bike, one wheel, snow shoe, sledding/tubing, and cross country ski.

Excellent short hike for a picnic or a lunchtime outing. Beautiful scenery and a decent amount of foot traffic. Don't expect to be alone out here, but the trails are really clean. We enjoyed the wild and life on the water while we hiked during our late summer getaway. This area has a lot to offer in the arena of relaxation and tranquility!

Great trails. Well groomed for so early in the season!

Absolutely gorgeous. Much recommended for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat tire biking. During the non-winter season, they offer easily the best single track mountain biking in the area, as well as some great hikes. Rentals are easy, and it's guaranteed to find a smiling face.

I brought my son on his first hike here and we had a lot of fun. The trails are well kept, the scenery was peaceful, and everyone we met on the trails were very friendly and respectful. We look forward to many more walks here, and next time we will bring the dog.

This place is great! It's a quiet hiking trail set which offers different degrees of difficulty and in the winter, it's a great place to go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing! There's sitting areas along each trail, and no matter which trail you go on, you'll come across a beautifully made Yurt!

Growing into a serious center. There are all sorts of trails, flat for beginners and levels of intermediate to challenging. Trails really vary by conditions. Trails were nicely groomed. They can make snow. Hot drinks and soup available to warm you up. Whats not to enjoy!! The usual tour of trails if you are intermediate on classic skiis takes about an hour. Groomed for skate skiing and tracks. There are season passes and day passes. Well worth your ticket.

So many things to do (we came in winter) - something for everyone - snow shoeing, Nordic or XC skiing, sledding, some pipes and jumps for snowboarders and skiers. One of the best parts is also the trails (even the sledding hill) is frequently groomed!

I can not believe how fortunate we are (residents of Waterville) to have this recreational resource! Not every town in Maine can be proud of its growth as much as Waterville can. It's nice that it all remains for the people. Great job with these trails and the types of activities you offer!!

Beautiful location that the town has done a great job improving with water access, disc golfing, mountain biking paths, and walking paths.

What are the incredible resource for the Waterville community. Snowmakers, trails, snow shoes, fat tire bikes, places to run, and a yurt, which is my favorite word to say. If you like to be outdoors this spot is a nice little oasis. The folks that run the place are also very youth friendly and frequently engage youth within the community and work hard to ensure those who need a hand up can enjoy all these experiences too.

Great place for all skill levels of cross country skiing. They also have rentals.

Great walking, running trails in the summer. Trails are maintained in the winter for cross country skiing and skate skiing. Snowshoeing is also available. As well as a warming hut in the center of the field. Constantly upgrading there.

This is a quiet place, at least in summer, or early fall, but that may be the current season of pandemic. In winter time, I'm sure it's much busier place, because it's a cross country center for Colby college, or so I believe.
