Hillcrest Abbey East

I want to thank Nadeen Cooper who has been so incredibly gracious to my parents with a situation at the cemetery. She has handled herself with great kindness for them while they are still living and yet helping to take care of them after their passing. She has made a difficult situation very easy to handle and I cannot say enough great things about her. Any family that has the opportunity to deal with her will receive a blessing. Thank you Nadeen!

I had to plan my Dad’s funeral in Savannah while living in Pennsylvania. I couldn’t have done it without Veronica Folsom. She provided everything I needed and the funeral was so beautiful. Veronica Folsom is the lady to talk to she is honest sweet and keeps her word my father's name plate was stolen I been trying for a year to have another one its about drove me crazy. After going thru several people this sweet classy lady fixed it I can sleep better now there are still caring people in this world 🌎She was my angel today much love for her forever

Its a special landscape with special souls and history too. Believe it or not, part of a Civil War mound fort part of it complete with marker and if you're a real sleuth you might find the grave of the youngest Confederate soldier buried here in the grounds.

My uncle was buried there by my Grandma and popsi .it's Beautiful.

Overall, I was very pleased at the condition of my parents gravesite. Only suggestion would be to add signage and update the maps to direct people to the right garden to find their loved ones. I spent about 10 minutes driving around and another 10-15 in the office trying to locate where my parents were because there were no signs and "The Last Supper" garden was not on the map. (It is a part of the Rose Garden) The Staff were VERY PLEASANT and HELPFUL, but if the office wasn't open, I probably wouldn't have been successful in finding my parents.

Terrible. I have called numerous times and my mother has called numerous times YET they still REFUSE to honor the perpetual care that I've paid for.
I HAD TO PERSONALLY CUT THE GRASS TODAY.
RIDICULOUS.
I'm close to contacting a lawyer over this.
Either do what I've paid for or I'm going to cause you a WHOLE LOT OF TROUBLE.

Where to start? First, every time you deal with these crooks they charge you $95 to fill out paperwork. If I had known that, I would have bought the headstone when I paid for the burial. Second, while the average cost of a burial vault is just under $1,900, their cheapest model is over $400 more than that. They also charge you nearly $400 to install it, on top of the $1,600 to open and close the grave. It’s a good thing we already purchased the plot decades ago, I’d hate to think of having to add that to what I just did. Finally, my grandmother is also buried there. Her headstone disappeared in 2005 literally days after they buried the gentleman next to her. At the time I called and was told they aren’t responsible for damage, even if they caused it. The new management assures me that wouldn’t happen with them , if I want to spend another five grand to replace the headstone. Well, I found the headstone BURIED SIX INCHES DEEP. So much for perpetual care!
