Herbie's Cafe

Just a little diner but very busy. Food was good, although my steak wasn't really seasoned. Service was good. Took a while to get the check but other than that it was good.

Arrived 11am on a monday and the place was a bustling. The dining area is definitely on the small side but people understand this and don't diddle daddle.
I only waited 2 minutes for a seat at the counter (7 stools). Wait staff is of the teamwork type. Everyone helps and is happy to be helpful.
I ordered an Irish Omelette, with white toast, and a side order 1/2 biscuits and gravy. Food was ample size for price and cooked VERY well (great, exceptional)!
Tasted amazing too!
I requested a water and a diet coke. Cold and refreshing.
Only 1 table that can hold 7 or squeeze in 8. But lots of tables that can squeeze 5. Space is the only possible gripe about this restaurant.
Herbie's is everything you want in a small diner that is open until 2pm.
Great food, price, service (Kathy was also exceptional), and atmosphere!!!
Herbie's should be your next stop in Muskegon for breakfast/lunch!

I've only tried their breakfasts, and the food was very good. I've ordered takeout twice and ate in the restaurant once. It seems as if there are quite a few "regulars" that come in to eat, which makes the atmosphere very comfortable. The service was great, and the food arrived quickly. I intend to try out some of the lunch menu items next as there are several options that sound delicious! Herbie's Cafe is definitely a place I would recommend, and I look forward to taking family to eat there.

I love Herbie's, the food is delicious, I tried their tex-mex wrap and it was awesome tasting. The wait staff is friendly, kind, and keeps your coffee full. Great service,great atmosphere. Would highly recommend going.

This was one of the best breakfastes I've had in a long time. Wait staff was excellent. I'm not from that area and stumbled upon this cafe. Definitely would go back if I'm in the area again.

Great local restaurant for breakfast and/or lunch. The atmosphere is friendly, the wait staff is great, and the food is yummy. I recommend the steak and eggs.

This was our first time here, but staff was friendly, service was quick and they checked on you frequently. We had breakfast and the portion sizes were large and yhe cost was reasonable. Military personnel get 10% off their meals on Monday's.

We had our first, of many to come, breakfasts yesterday. I absolutely loved it! Food was great! Eggs were cooked perfectly. It took a little longer for the food to get to us, but it was worth the wait. Our waitress was great too! It's a little bit cramped but doesn't feel like it once you've sat down.

Love the home town feel, got a seat right away. Food came out fast and is very affordable for a whole family. Not much is these days. The staff, amazing!! These are the places that remind me how great our town is.

This place is always booming. First time here and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. party of five for breakfast. I had the Tex wrap and I loved it. Very comfy and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend to all and we’ll be back :)

Go there every Wednesday for breakfast...the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Owners are great people....

This place is amazing! Staff is super friendly and always smiling. And the food is the best I've had. We have been back many times and will continue to go back. And the prices are very affordable.

This is our new favorite breakfast spot. We are making it our usual. They have spectacular food, and the friendliest staff. The wait for the food is never long, and the waitstaff is prompt and curious. The atmosphere is also spectacular, my son absolutely loves the decor. I would 100% recommend eating here if you like fresh homemade food in a wonderful atmosphere with wonderful people.

Great service good food reasonable prices as a bonus pumpkin pie all year long. Also plane decor made atmosphere fun.

Been going to Herbie's since it opened. Good food at good price. It's not a big place so can be a little hard to get in during lunch rush. Well worth it.

Food was GREAT! Fresh and hot. Really good price and large portions! Nice little place and was enough room to park my semi. Will definitely go again when in the area
