We've driven past the charming location so many times saying, "We really need to try it!" before finally making reservations on a Sunday evening to take my parents there when they visited in November. We were all thoroughly delighted by every course -- not the least of which is arguably the broadest selection of Scotch anywhere outside of Scotland!

We returned a second time on a Thursday and enjoyed the live (Celtic? Gaelic?) folk music along with an equally delicious meal. Looking forward to catching the next Scotch tasting event.

Will not disappoint you, I’ve driven past this place for 18 years finally went in, great live music, the best most flavorful food you can have in a quality place with quality people.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time! Amazing shepherd's pie, delicious house salad, sticky toffee dessert to die for. And so reasonably priced we felt like we got a great deal! The waitress was great, brought us a side of asparagus, other attentive services. We loved the ambiance too. Just a fantastic experience and would highly recommend.

What an amazing place. It's cozy, the food was great, the staff was fabulous. Our room was simple, but extremely clean. Will definitely be staying there again.

This place is magical, especially in the winter, when things slow down and it’s warm and cozy inside. In the summer, the outdoor seating is wonderful and dog friendly. The LTI team goes above and beyond, and really cares about the Leelanau community.

We’ve driven past many times not realizing there is a great restaurant open within this inn. Won’t make that mistake again. Dinner was great, tough choices from an eclectic menu with English, Indian, and American choices, all good. Plenty left to try next time. And, next time we’ll save room for some awesome looking desserts.

Make sure to sample some of Graham’s curated Scotch…

Well worth the visit!

Great food and a well-blended and creative menu! Not the normal pub food. I saw this place as we buzzed up M22 one night and told the wife I wanted to try it out the next night! This was Labor Day weekend. It seems to be near nothing and I thought maybe it would not be crowded!! We were actually lucky to get in and I am very happy that we did. The live music was going in the yard as the sun hid behind the trees and the jackets came out! We were inside next to the door. So we kept warmer than the others outside! Our waitress was very enthusiastic about serving us and even more enthusiastic about the menu. So sorry I forgot her name (blonde, blue eyes, and friendly smile?) We recognized the owner as he was working just as hard as his staff! Sometimes with all the labor shortages that seem to happen, this place had enough help to keep the guest happy- no small achievement! Sometimes you go out to eat and can tell that the staff is not happy to be there. The food was delicious but on the pricey side but for good reason! This is a restaurant that remembers your not just selling the steak, your selling the sizzle!! Can't wait to go back!

Delicious food and great service. Interesting menu with a british flair. Enjoyed scotch egg, toad in a hole and the perch basket. Generous portions and wonderful desserts!

We stopped by out of curiosity, not knowing that the restaurant would be so quant and cozy. 2 1/2 hours later (lunch) we finally left. What a special place! The bar area is classic and the food is wonderful. Nicole our server did an amazing job making us feel at home. Graeme (the owner) works diligently to make a great experience while you are there. If the rooms weren't all reserved we would have stayed the night! So glad we stopped and we will be back with friends!

Dining here was an incredible experience. The outdoor space, live music, and unbelievable menu made for a great evening.

We visited the small bar after dinner and enjoyed our time chatting with local folks and guests.

I chose a nightcap from their breadth of scotch offerings and thought about the next time I can visit.

If you've never travelled to Europe and eaten wonderful food from a pub, this is the place to go. You will find the owner (Graham) works hard, making sure all of the tables are set correctly, making sure that your reservation has the best view, making sure that you'll be served quickly. My wife and I were so happy with the food on Friday night, we came back Saturday night to explore things we decided to pass up. Susan had the Scottish egg, a hard boiled egg with fried sausage encompassing the entire egg and I had the kabobs with lamb. What a treat for both of us. Susan's entree was the fish and chips (perch) and my entree was a huge Caesar salad. The only complaint for myself was I didn't ask for anchovies. The beer we had was a classical English pub kind of brew: not as much carbonation or not as freezing cold as beer here. Even so, they have a great selection of premium craft beers, like Founders, as well as Guinness. The Scotch selection is AWESOME. Stop here and enjoy European cuisine at a fair price. We both had appetizers, entrees, and two premium beers each and it was around $72 without tip. And have the Sticky Toffee Pudding, if you want a treat.

Always a wonderful spot to go to with great food and vibes. We were able to enjoy a delicious meal outside under the light strings listening to live music.

Wonderful menu, especially of Scottish, English, indian and local card. Extensive wine and beer list, and Scotch and Irish whiskies. Service is excellent. Eating outdoors in the Summer is wonderful, and sitting at the bar inside is a great way to top off a terrific meal. Graham is a wonderful host.

We highly recommend the Little Traverse Inn for a memorable dining experience!

Loved this restaurant! We have been here twice and we love the live music on Friday nights and the food was very good. The prime rib and the fish and chips were very tasty and always a good selection of beer. Reminds me of an old New England pub!

Good food, great service and an excellent beer, wine and whiskey selection. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. The scotch eggs were delicious. The shepherds pie was good but not the best I've had but the lamb vindaloo was perfect. Be careful, it's got some kick.

Ok so this place is awesome. The owner is a native of Scotland and the pub is totally reflective of his heritage. Such a European sense of community... If you've ever shared a pint at a pub in Ireland or Scotland you'll feel right at home. Food, ambience, and hospitality all spectacular. Don't let this one slip by without a visit, you'll be happy you discovered it.

The beer selection was great, and the pour on the scotch was ridiculously generous. The live music was pleasant throwbacks to my dad’s youth. Service was fast and delightful. The food was just ok, but this ain’t the big city, so it is was it is. The best place for a nice meal in the area we found.

My husband and I stayed here March 29th and had an excellent stay!! Such a cool old farm house that Graham the owner has redone himself. The dinner had on Saturday night was amazing. We got a little adventurous and sampled the Haggis which was great and also had some Scottish eggs, also great. My husband had the prime rib and I got the shepherd's pie. We were too full for dessert. We were impressed with everything. In the morning Graham made a breakfast of quiche with a homemade pastry, fresh fruit and bacon. It was a very cozy atmosphere, our room was quiet and clean and we had a private bathroom (as all the rooms do). We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Unique beers on tap. We went wine tasting Saturday and when people around town asked where we were staying everyone knew the place and said nothing but great things about it. It has an excellent reputation around the TC area. Thank you to Graham and the Little Traverse Inn staff, we will be back.
