Gorgeous and spacious home with great views!
This place is perfect for family reunions or group trips - I attended a wedding there and it was the perfect location for an intimate wedding weekend. Gorgeous and lots of space. The kitchen on the main floor has all the dishes and accessories you need. Outside there's a fire pit with some chairs, a hot tub. In the basement there's a large area with ping pong, air hockey, shuffle board, pool, and foosball.

Great place to stay with a large group. We stayed right after Christmas and had a great time. Beautiful views out over the bay. Did I mention the place is HUGE! It fit our group of around 60 people just fine.

Fantastic facility for retreat and meetings.

We had my aunt's wedding here, and there are a LOT of us. This place managed to fit us all AND have room to activities, dancing, feasting, and more. All with a gorgeous view of the lake. 10/10 will be back again

We had a great experience here with friends and family it was beyond amazing, could have stayed longer!! Came here a couple times as a kid and I felt the same way back then!
It has everything you need except for food and clothes, you don't have to leave for your entire stay if you don't want to! Kids had a blast too!
The owners were just great to work with through all of it! We forgot something in our room and they mailed it back to us free of charge. Thank you!

There are definitely some things that need attention, as is common with houses like this that get large groups at a time, but especially the games in the basement. All of them have something broken which I understand happens with heavy use but still it was difficult to play a few of them.

Overall though I would definitely recommend staying here as it was like an oasis for all of us while we were here. (Yes that sounds sappy😁)

PERFECT venue! We had our wedding and reception there on October 16, 2020. Starting from the location (on the water) to the game room downstairs, it was absolutely awesome! We arrived to cute fall decorations outside the door. There is a huge parking lot (with a basketball court), all kinds of games to play inside and out. The living room is AMAZING! There is an electric fireplace in the living room with tons of seating. There are sliding glass doors from left to right. It's gorgeous. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious. They had any dish, bowl or glass you could think of needing. I could go on and on about this house. The views were out of this world...and there is a nice hot tub too. Book this place for any event you have and you will NOT be disappointed. HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful facility to have a family function! The facility is flexible to entertain guests inside and outside. The amenities at the resort are amazing and clean. The kitchen easily accommodates everyone that is staying. There is really not any reason to need to leave the resort unless you want to take in the local affairs. Everyone in the family had a fantastic time and can not wait to come back in the future!

We had the BEST stay at the NBR! We stayed here over Labor Day weekend for our wedding. While the actual wedding was hosted at a vineyard, we had a large rehearsal dinner bbq here and were able to host all of our out of town wedding guests (about 45)! We never ran out of things to do here and the large resort quickly felt like home. Some of the best, unexpected aspects of our stay were the sound proofing in the rooms, the comfort of the beds, how well stocked the kitchen was, and just how spotless everything was. Although the price felt steep at first, you simply cannot find a better place to stay in the area for the money when you consider the location and all this property has to offer. Can't recommend enough!

We had our wedding on this property and it was by far the best weekend of our life so far. The property was amazing for our 50+ guests and everyone enjoyed their time with their own rooms and bathrooms and the amazing space. This location was conveniently close to a lot of shopping and only about 35 minutes to Traverse City. Melissa was so helpful as well, answering all of our questions along the way! Highly recommend for a large family or group trip!

Great place for a large family to celebrate Christmas. With 16 bedrooms just like a motel we sometimes have to double up. The large living room with a gas fireplace can seat 42 adults and children to open presents around the large Christmas tree 🎄. The kitchen has double of everything and plenty of plates, glasses, and silverware. Just a great place to gather for us I think, for the last seven years.

Just went there with a group! I loved it! And just as nice an relaxing as i remembered it as a kid, 15 Year's ago.

Love coming here to work. A mini vacation!!!!

Awesome views of the bay. Great place to vacation with friends and family of 8 plus. Many ammentities. Hot Tub, game room, and outdoor fire pit.
