Clive's Roadhouse Burnsville

Clive's Roadhouse is like something out of a movie. Not quite as absurd and laughable as some of the other cowboy themed restaurants in the area (I'm looking at you Wild Bill's) but it's still a bit out there. Themed restaurants always are though, and I am not faulting it.

The service here is great. Staff were attentive and courteous, consistently checking in on us and ensuring we were having a good experience.

The food was actually quite impressive. The menu was relatively extensive and not too pricey, the portions were large, and everything tasted pretty great.

The vibe got off for a bit, but that could happen anywhere. Darkness lives in the heart of the comfortable, after all.

I loved this location,the service was great,the food was even better,the music was great ,I definitely recommend Clives to anyone who hasn't been here yet!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the espresso martinis! Look good and taste good with amazing service. The food was also amazing, hot, fresh, and the staff/manager was quick and attentive. Great job keep it up team.

Great place for dinner! Have been here several times and have enjoyed my experience every time. They have a bar area and dining area. In the dining area they have tables, booths, and round booths. There are also pull tabs and free popcorn! Very reasonably priced as well. Will be back!

My favorite is the Clives Smothered Beef Tips! Only negative is that every time I've gotten it, it's different.

We were traveling in the area and wanted a place close by to eat so we thought we'd try Clive's. It was wonderful. That night's special was a flat iron steak with 2 sides. We asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetable medley and mashed potatoes were excellent as well. We enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch 2 days later.

Clive’s is a favorite of myself and my friends & family for good reasons. Not only is the food very good, but the service has always been too notch. All staff seems genuinely friendly and they pay attention to detail. There are many favorites that I can rely on (eg the chicken fried chicken or beef tips) but occasionally trying something new usually also ends up deliciously (eg the walleye tacos; I’ve also gotten a Buffalo salad that was huge and very delicious). All in all, a good reliable for regular outings

Clive's is a fun casual rustic restaurant. The food was really good. I had the honey crispy chicken sandwich. Very tasty and great waffle fries. I enjoyed the Old Fashioned

Stopped in for a quick working lunch. I was allowed to seat myself. Found a quiet, well lite corner booth. After a few minutes was greeted by a friendly server. Brought my drink quickly and took my order. I ordered the Bang Bang Salad and added Creole Shrimp. It was colorful and flavorful. Crunchy and not too spicy. There were a dozen yummy shrimp. The server checked on me often. I would definitely order this salad again and will be back and highly recommend

Once again this place surpassed previous visits, and expectations, Christina behind the bar, hit it outta the park with the recommendation of the new sushi poke bowl, and the even newer pistachio cake (that I made her try!l Service is exceptional, as always, and will always come back when in town.

Really cool atmosphere! And the food was top notch. I got the Irish Burger (beer cheese, Jamison bacon and crispy onions) with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream. Highly Recommend!!! Great happy hour too!

I have to take the time to tell everyone what a GREAT experience we had today with Clive's Roadhouse. We ordered for take-out. It was raining, but they had plenty of parking close to the door for take-out customers - nice. Once in, I was told my food was at the bar. The bartender, who was very busy, took the time to look over the order. When I got the food back to the office, it was clearly marked and it was completely correct. The food was really good. I am giving it five stars, because literally everything was done well. I cannot rate the atmosphere because our meal was takeout.

Good food, great prices and family friendly. We ate here a few times and always had a positive experience. The servers and food runners are friendly and on top of it.

The food was awesome I had the Chicken Fried Chicken...it came with garlic mash potatoes with seasoned veggies. It was delicious.

Clive's is comfort food done well. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, service is generally good, and the food is excellent. The chicken fried chicken is my go-to and it's a hit every time. The free popcorn in the bar area is well above average, and they have brewed unsweetened iced tea that is great.

First timer... Stopped in around 1pm on a Saturday. three of us, seated right away, drinks were served as expected, menu was over the top, we spent way too much time trying to decide.. lol, server was patient... I ordered the Hot Tennessee chicken sandwich with waffle fries, the other two people ordered the another type of chicken sandwich, it was over the top delicious, the slab of chicken was so big we had to cut some it off..haha, the value definitely there, service was great, food was great.. would recommend.

I try something different everytime and am always more than satisfied. They make a great espresso martini and the salmon filet is to die for. Huge portions at a reasonable price is hard to find these days!

Great service. The waitress was very attentive and great with our son. The happy hour had some great deals - four fresh pretzels for less than $7. The food was good, with a variety of options.

The portions were HUGE and our food came out in less than 10 minutes on a busy Saturday night. We really enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, Reuben soup, burger, loaded waffle fries, and tots.

I've been to Clive's several times over my existence. It has a great family-friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of TV in the bar area and enough dining space to where you won't get too crowded.

The bartenders are great people and do a good job. Service as a whole is usually on point. My family and I usually end up here a few times a year for events. Great place, great service! Can't ask for a whole lot more.
