UB Hardwoods and Flooring were incredibly responsive and did amazing work! We had them sand and refinish an entire floor of our house and install hardwood on another floor to match. We were on a tight timeline to get the flooring project done before we moved in. Sam walked me through the project in a ton of detail and was really upfront about scheduling and about potential additional cost items that couldn’t be known before getting the old flooring up. Ultimately, UB kept us posted daily on their progress and got the job done ahead of the timeline they set. And most importantly, they did a really great job! So great, in fact, that we have already hired them for a carpet replacement project. We will use UB for all of our future flooring needs. (Note that the pictures below are from before base trim was retouched—an issue that UB specifically called out at the time of the quote. It’s part of the process, and it’s all cleaned up now.)

We had a great experience refinishing the floors in our small condo with UB Hardwoods. Jerry was very easy to work with and made the overall process very straightforward and smooth with no hiccups. Our floor had some pretty rough spots, but Derek, Jack, and Raul did a great job cleaning them up and you can't even tell that these spots had damage previously. The crew also did some patch work near our bathroom and closet door, where a few boards were missing, and these also look seamless. I will choose UB Hardwoods for future projects because of the good communication with Jerry and the high quality of work that the team did.

Such a great experience working with UB Hardwoods. The whole team was easy to work with, answered my questions and completed the project on time. I would recommend them if you need your hardwood floors refinished. In the pictures you can see how they made a repair to some boards and we chose no stain, just a natural finish. UB Hardwoods and Flooring is truly an exceptional company. We had the pleasure of working with Dan (our team lead) and Raul, who ripped up all the carpet and re-finished the hardwood floors on both the main floor and upstairs, as well as Shawn who skillfully managed the sales end of things. They had to do quite a bit of patch up work/wood replacement for some damaged flooring that was found once the carpet was removed, as well as stain/install shoe to match our existing trim and flooring, and the work they did was absolutely beautiful and seamless. Their level of communication throughout the entirety of the project was incredible as well (which says a lot given this is not always the experience with contract work!), and was so helpful and reassuring given this was our first experience with significant house renovations. It was evident they were hard-working, highly knowledgeable and skilled at their craft, and we couldn’t be more happy with the finished product! We also are having a carpet runner installed on our stairs and carpet in our sunroom, and Melanie at the showroom was so warm and helpful with choosing and ordering it all! Without a doubt we will be calling up UB Hardwoods and Flooring for when we install tile down the road for our kitchen renovation. I would recommend (and will) to anyone who is looking for high quality and fairly priced work! They really are the best!

We did a kitchen remodel and had existing maple floors that we wanted to keep and incorporate into our new area. John was able to match the flooring perfectly and laced the new floor in with the existing flooring seamlessly. Then John and his crew sanded all areas, restained, and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turn out. It is beautiful! From our initial meeting with Sam until the project was finished, the communication was great as well. We highly recommend UB!

I couldn't be more happier with my floors. UB Flooring was professional,on time, and did the work to perfection...they stripped the orange color off,then gave me my 4 choices to pick from then proceeded to take my orange colored flooring to a beautiful medium brown in 2 days. I highly recommend them.

Dan & Raul from UB did an amazing job refinishing our floors! They were awesome at communicating when they would be there, what would be completed in a day and they left the house spotless! We had them match some flooring we had in different rooms, and I can’t tell where the part they refinished vs the old flooring, it was that close of a match! Highly recommend, they are so easy to work with and do amazing job!

I found UB Hardwoods & Flooring via Google search and decided to trust in their excellent reviews, and I'm glad I did. John and Steve spent several days at my house (still a work in progress, please don't mind the messy walls, etc.). They were super friendly and helpful when I had questions. I had multiple areas that needed new wood blended into the existing wood, and it is so seamless. My floors turned out amazing! Finished product is the picture with the dining table.

UB Hardwoods installed hardwood flooring on our first floor in December and we couldn’t be happier with their work. From removing ceramic tile to scribing around a stone fireplace structure to the hardwood flooring installation, their workmanship was just excellent. We had UB Hardwoods replace our bedroom carpets and install new hardwood floors on our main level. What wood floors we had were sanded and everything stained a fantastic color. We redid 3 floors of our house each with a different material. One of the benefits of using UB Hardwoods was that they refinish hardwood, install carpet and install vinyl planking. Having one company that can schedule multiple crews made this big project so much easier. Shawn was our salesman and took the time to listen to our requests and made everything work. Sergio’s crew installed the carpeting and vinyl planking, which look amazing, in less time than scheduled. Dans crew refinished the main hardwood floor. He and Shawn made sure all of our questions and concerns were taken care of. The entire project came out great. Would highly recommend.

As a small non-profit preschool, we were looking for a great flooring installer who we could trust, would work around our schedule, and be affordable with a big selection of products. Highly recommend UB Haddwoods and Flooring. My goal was to update and refinish my kitchen floors. I am so happy with the results. Shawn was my sales contact and he listened and understood what I was looking to achieve. He made recommendations as to the finish that would achieve the look I was striving for. Dan and Raul did a terrific job sanding, buffing and coating the floors. End to end process took 3 days. Love my floors! I have already referred my friends. See my before (oil-based glossy stain which had really yellowed over time) and after photos (water-based matte natural finish which is also far less toxic).

Highly recommend the UB team! We had carpet and A LOT of tile replaced with 5" white oak natural stain, water based matte finish. We love it! Shawn was incredibly responsive & collaborative with great advice; huge thanks to Daniel and Francisco who removed all of that tile in record time and did a beautiful job installing our new wood, and to Dan and Raul for the stain, buff & final coat. Excellent service and great experience all around!

My basement floor looks awesome! Shawn and Melanie helped me find a good floor for my basement. The estimate was straightforward, I got a reminder when they were going to show up. Ryan and Juan did a great job on the install. I have brick walls in my basement that are not too even, they did a great job getting the floor up tight to the walls. It looks great. I highly recommend.

The team at UB Hardwoods & Flooring was extremely helpful, courteous and my flooring job was done with precision and care. And at a reasonable price! They also really worked with me on timing to get the job done which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely use UB again for my flooring needs.
