My late father recommended me to Joel 13 years ago or more. He has been servicing all of my families vehicles for as long as I can remember and he is by far the best! I can’t even tell you how many times he has saved me. I own a small business as well and I need my truck running. Joel has made that happen more than I can remember. It may be preferential treatment (I don’t know) but one time he even drove to me to help me get a tire off of my truck that was jammed and needed to be banged off with a sledgehammer in order for me to get my spare on. He is a true family man and Christian. Thanks Joel for all of your years of service and friendship!

My wife had a seized caliper. We had just flown back to MN and were heading back to Duluth. They were able to get parts and complete the job in about an hour and a half at a good price. An honest mechanic.

Joel has the most cost effective honest repair shop in town. He will tell you what needs to be fixed and what should not be fixed based on the condition and lifetime of the vehicle. I spent several hours removing an oxygen sensor on my van. The hole needed to be retapped and my sensor needed to be rethreaded. He completed this job and topped off all of my automotive fluids in 20 minutes for only $40. I recommend paying him in cash. He is an expert level mechanic. Because of the volume of vehicles that he fixes each day, you may need to wait at his shop until a spot opens up in his schedule. I trust him with fixing all of my vehicles.

Joel was great nto deal with. Honest and fair prices. Will definitely be back again. He's busy, but is a man of his word and would refer him to anyone I know. Another shop was going to charge me over 2,000 for the same work. Joel quoted me a price for the same job and actually charged me less! Thank you!

I recently had my front brake pads changed at JR Automotive in Eagan. It was a casual visit because the local franchise shops around were too busy and my brakes were really bad. It was a wonderful experience. The turnaround was very fast and the price was more than reasonable. My car was handled by the shop owner. A very friendly and down to earth Christian guy. His wife is at the front desk and was very courteous as well. All my car fluids were checked and other high wear and tear areas. There was no pushy upsales and I love that as well.

Retapped and rethreadded my oxygen sensor for only $40. Also topped off all my automotive fluids for free. Once started, the job took no more than 20 minutes. I highly recommend Joel and his team. They provide quality auto care with integrity.

JR Automotive has better-than-fair pricing, they keep to their deadlines and communicate when there are issues. They don't suggest useless repairs and treat their customers with respect. What more can one ask?

I have been going to JR’s Automotive for over 5 years. I have had every type of work done on multiple vehicles that you could think of. Everything from routine oil changes, brakes and rotors, tire replacements, to alternators, water pump, ball joints, tie rods, ECM (Main computer), transmission issues, brake lines, and more. There’s no other shop that I trust more than Jr’s for Honest, Reputable, Excellent work at more than fair prices. I send everyone I know to him and will be a customer for as long as my vehicles need service.

Great place to bring your car for repairs. SO much better than going to a franchise chain shop. If you were thinking Tires Plus or something, try JR Auto instead. Will not regret.
