Fasil Mediterranean Restaurant

We found this gem while traveling to Saratoga Springs. The service was fantastic and the food is so delicious. As we ate, we discussed driving back just to eat there. I highly recommend the Chicken Kofta and the Falafel platter. The tea is yummy too. We will definitely return.

Delicious as always! Mixed cold app, the white bean salad and the chicken yogurt kebab (the hidden pieces of bread are great) made for a perfect meal for two with leftovers.

Delicious food, perfect salads. The hummus was the best ever, so creamy and smooth. Complete selection of grilled and roasted meats. Best place for family to feast.

Very nice food, reasonably priced. Nice and cozy sitting outside. Inside looked very comfortable as well. Great service. Kids loved lamd gyro from kids menu. Great selection of juices for kids, including sour cherry, peach and apricot. Greek salad was very fresh and tasty. All different lamb dishes we tried were amazing!

Traditional, family run, authentic food. These folks know how to do it right. Delicious choices from an excellent kitchen. Front of the house staff is welcoming and top notch professionals.

What can I say about Fasil, other than it is truly a hidden gem!

Service: Prompt, professional, sharp, courteous to death.

Ambience: Decor is modern rustic and ethnic. Beautiful furniture (love the chairs), floors, walls. Turkish music for an added bonus. Transports you to a different land.

Food: By FAR the best reason to visit Fasil. Turkish coffee is to DIE for. I ordered a lamb kabob and was amazed when it came out at a perfect (and I mean PERFECT) medium rare without any prompt on my part. The presentation is excellent as well as the seasoning. I cannot gush about the cuisine enough. Just eat here and you'll see.

Price: Moderate, but considering what you get it's a steal!

Seriously, if you haven't eaten here already just do it already. A+

Great restaurant to dine in. Lovely ambience and the food was exotic. We had beef steak, mix grill and falafel platters. Their hummus from appetizers is a must.

We ordered takeout from Fasil for my mom's birthday and the food was just excellent. We ordered 3 orders of the "For Four" dinner packages for 12 people, and boy can I tell you that platter can definitely feed more than 4 mouths.

Overall, food was EXCELLENT! The meat was juicy, tender, and the rice was super tasty. I loved having a mixture of different meats (chicken and lamb) in the platter. With the platter came a selection of 4 cold appetizers - we ordered the hummus, eggplant sauce (my favorite), baba ganoush, and cacik (my second favorite). All were very delicious though and went quickly!

I called about 1-2 days ahead (I forgot) of when I needed the order ready and paid beforehand. We ended up having so many leftovers it fed 6 mouths for 2 more days afterwards.

Overall would highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for some Mediterranean-style catering! Cannot recommend the service and food enough.

What a delight!
I stopped on a whim and was so happy I did. The staff were polite, and the food delicious.
I got a luncheon special which came with a salad, a cold appetizer, an entree, and a soda. I chose hummus as the cold app and it was so creamy and light! I gobbled it up on fluffy, warm pita bread.
Then came the Gypsy salad, a lovely blend of cabbage and carrots with a tangy lemon dressing. Then my falafel entree arrived which was perfectly browned and on a bed of rice. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rice delicious and not too salty, and the sauce was again a delight for falafel dipping.
I had leftovers from the lunch special! (And y'all, I'm a big woman and never have leftovers!)
Great staff, delicious food, homemade sauces, and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.

We went there this week for a friends birthday dinner & it was amazing. The appetizers were so fresh & tasted amazing. The dinners were equally as good. A few of us shared some deserts which were outstanding. I would highly recommend Fasil for authentic high quality food with top notch service.

We order from here at least once every 2 weeks and I can't remember ever having a bad meal or incorrect order. During Covid they started doing a value meal takeout option which gives you a choice of a lunch size portion of an entree, cold appy, rice, shepherd salad, drink, pita. it is a great way to try different appetizers and entrees. I have tried many combos and now have my favorites I choose from. The staff is wonderful and my order is already ready on-time, always hot and delicious. Dining in is a great experience too. Lovely dining room and also outdoor seating.

This place is insanely good and the people are so nice!! I've never had dolmas this good.

Great lunch special. A little pricey but worth it. Plenty of food. Soup and salad were both good. I had the gyro meat and she had the lamb kufti. Brought home leftovers. Cool atmosphere and service was on point. Even has outside dining for when it's warm. Good stuff

The food was excellent. We didn't have apps although I wish we had. They started us out with hot, fresh pita that was so good, Im still thinking about it days later. For dinner, I had the chicken adana yogurt kebabs which were great. My wife really enjoyed the branzini. We were in the area and found Fasil by accident, but we will definitely be back.
