Hefflinger Park

My dogs love coming here! They have so much fun and always make new friends. The other dogs are usually very nice, friendly and just want to play, and the owners generally keep a pretty close eye on their dogs and step in when they need to. My dogs and I have never had a problem here and we try to come out at least a few times a week. Great dog park!

Have always loved this dog park and it's gotten better since we were going years ago. I like how they sectioned off the huge area into 3 separate fenced-in areas. And it's still big enough for a dog to play fetch in and run energy off.
There's a water fountain now which is great. Plus they seemed to have covered up that giant mud pit that used to be out there!
People are always friendly and clean up after their pets.
Great way to run off dog energy and socialize them at the same time !

This dog park is so close and really has some great sized, enclosed areas for your puppos to run around. They have it segmented for both large and smaller breeds if you're concerned about that.
People have always been friendly, respectful and watch their dogs for any unnecessary behavior.

My dog, Yuki, also likes to help clean up the trash as this place is somewhat maintained by the patrons.

This place is huge! It looks like it used to be a sports complex thing with a baseball diamond and soccer field, but now it's all dog park! That's the dream! There are gates to create sections, which I think is genius. There is a section for small dogs, too, like in most other dog parks. I'm really glad I went!

It's winter time, snow on the ground, but dogs still in the park. Love that the place is sectioned off. No more 5 acre space, now it's separated into 3 sections, another section for small dogs, and another for senior or really docile dogs. Love the layout. People and dogs were friendly too

First time here. Huge series of dog parks. They have some tunnels in a A-frame to practice agility. Lots of parking. Great for dogs that want to run around and use the space

Almost always a good amount of people here with dogs for socializing and play. I've had a few problems with people not controlling their dogs well here, but that was definitely the exception.

There are two all dog areas and one specific for dogs under 25 lbs.

Wonderful place to take your dog! Everything is fenced in, and there are actually three separate areas, one for everyone, one for small dogs, and one that I assume is for shy dogs that not many people go to. The park has been recently updated, so there is a little bit of pavement down, two water fountains, more seats, and doggy agility course in the all dogs area. They also put trash containers all around the area again, so no more carrying poo all the way back to the beginning. It also seems like there are more trees, which is great on sunny days.

Terrific dog park. Wonderful place to let the canines stretch their legs. Busy on weekends, quiet on weekdays. Always water and water bowls there but we bring our own. Nice place divided in rooms big and small dog areas. Good place your dogs to get together and run in a pack or chase a ball...good place for you to meet others as well. Price? Free of course! Kids play area too and more as well. Explore!

Wonderful park for you and your person(s). Usually a bevy if new faces and always a special treat to come here. Port-o-potty available with playground on far end of parking lot for kids to enjoy. Has 3 VERY large running areas - a designated area for smaller dogs and 2 areas for larger dogs and those doggers who know size doesn't matter.

Plastic waste bags are usually available(receptacles hung on wired fence surrounding n g run areas) as well as receptacles for your dogs waste. Please police after your dog(s)!

Thia is a great dog park! There is a section for small dogs, medium dogs, and large dogs. People were smart with their dogs and brought them only if they were friendly. I let my dog off the leash. It seems like a good place to let you dog be a dog. He was really excited and ran all over the place. This is a great place to bring your dog!

No better dog park for large dogs in Omaha. There are always tons of other people, there is a ton of space for your dog to really run and it is well organized.

Plus, they have a section for smaller dogs, so you don't have to worry as much about your dog getting too excited with a small dog.

Large space, lots of nice dogs, several separate areas for dogs of all sizes. Overall, a great place to take your dog - just watch out for mud after a rain/snow storm!
