Delicious stuff! The fries are killer. The pizza is awesome, I’m so glad I found out Omaha has Detroit style pizza! If you haven’t tried it, you need to.

This was our first visit and definitely won't be the last! Great variety of beers (including a couple ciders and fruit beers), pizza and sides were delicious. Service was fast. Kids loved the table games :)

First time here... definitely won't be the last! Everything was fantastic! The place is really chill, great atmosphere, super kind and helpful staff. But the food? OMG, the pizza! To die for! Definitely going back.

Atmosphere was amazing. Instantly greeted by a co-owner who found a table for us. We ordered Cadillac pizzas, fries, cheese sticks, and more pizzas. Chef Dan is our family so we figured time to finally visit! Amanda had an amazing blackberry beer and service was superb. Place was busy due to hockey but wait times were not bad at all. Would DEFINITELY go back again.

My husband and I were in town for our yearly anniversary adventure. We had spent the day enjoying the town. We stopped in to have a few drinks before hitting the hotel. The bar tenders working was amazing. They were very personable and had great attitudes. The conversation was great. Loved they had games you could play. Hubby won battle ship and connect four. It truly was a fabulous place to end our evening and last night on our trip. I would recommend this little place, hands down, we loved it. My hot tottie was top notch. The old man tried several types of beer, and he enjoyed them.Thank you for an amazing time.

Had a great experience! Loved the drum circle that came in and gave us a little show. The bartenders were awesome. And the pizza! Jalapeño popper pizza is sooo good.

I love pizza more than oxygen and this really good pizza, they have new and interesting flavors I've never thought about putting on pizza and they're all good. The Reuben pizza was awesome! Staff is chill, the owner was even making rounds like a proper restaurant. They also let you charge your pev's while you eat I'll definitely be back

Good mix of beers to choose from. Very laid back and great bar games to play. It was a busier than expected night for them, and our bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed with the long line. She was very nice and helpful, got our orders correct and our drinks fast. The food came out quickly, and hot and was so good. The crust and the beer cheese are all very rich. Our table wants to give a shout out to RJ who shared with us that he is normally in the kitchen. He was so great with our son, very attentive at helping us and others that ordered food, and made sure to check in on us, bringing plates and napkins and boxes etc throughout the evening. We were so impressed with your serving skills, and hope you have more chances to be in the front of house.

This place was amazing! After watching a movie at the Askarben Cinema. They had the advertisement after the movie and the pizza looked so good! Well the advertisement is what took me to the Taphouse. We sat outside to enjoy the marvelous Detroit pizza! The fries were the perfect crisp and flavor. I will Definitely patron this place over and over again! It’s a family owned business no franchised!

First timers here and had a great time! Pizza, wings, fries all good. Joe and Kelly at the bar were very friendly and accommodating! UNO drum line also paid a visit while we were here, very cool! Highly recommend.

Backlot never disappoints. Great selection of beer and bar cider! Bartenders are always attentive and their food menu has some great appetizers for sharing during the happy hours!

OG Fries were great but would get the Boom Boom sauce on the side for the non spicy lovers. BBQ Bourbon pizza was OK but the Original pizza was way better! The sauce on it was tasty and the Detroit style crust was amazing!

Kelly and Bri are the absolute best. I’m here weekly and they always meals me feel at home. It’s literally like coming home every time I come here. Met the owner tonight and a great guy. Always have a great time when I go!

Backlot has the best Detroit style that I've had in the Omaha area! If you're a fan of pepperoni, you won't be disappointed with this place's version. The crispy edges and flavorful sauce make for a delicious combination. And if you're feeling more adventurous, there are plenty of other topping options to choose from.

Favorite pizza place with pan fired deep dish. Often have unique special pizza to try. Great beer selection with varieties other than IPAs which is tough to find some places.

Not to be confused with BackLot at ACX which lacks the welcoming atmosphere, tap selections, and excellence of food.

Food is delicious and the atmosphere is pretty casual. You order drinks and food at the bar and they bring it out to your table. Plates and silverware are available by the soda machine. I highly recommend the peanut butter & jelly wings and butcher's word pizza!

This location has vegan cheese now! Got an onion and green pepper pizza with buffalo sauce (all vegan) and the cheese was melty and the whole thing was delicious. They have a veggie pizza that you can easily swap out the cheese or build your own pizza. Super chill and fun atmosphere with games and cool bartenders. Lots of good rotating beers and ciders. Gluten free crust and ciders too for people avoiding eating gluten.

Food was quick and excellent. Many drink options on tap. Fun environment with games at the table for entertainment.

Finally a fun atmosphere for young adults for great bar food and even better, GAMES. For a unique location neighboring a college campus, this is probably the most fun I've had in a while living in the area. Pizza and fries were BOMB. Go show this place some love.

Tip: you order at the bar for everything but they're great about checking up on you. Not too pricey for a meal that I HAD to take leftovers home. Well worth it! If you're a local beer lover, give this place a go!

Deep dish Detroit style pizza was great. Beer selection awesome, staff even better.
