Walmart Neighborhood Market

It was your typical Walmart neighborhood store experience I love Walmart but the superstores sometimes are just a bit much especially when
there's just like a few grocery items you want to grab and you don't want to have to deal with the huge crowds that more than likely is exist at the supercenter so that's what I choose to come and use the neighborhood market so just run in grab what I need and get out

Jenny, the store manager helped me with the propane exchange. The machine malfunctioned and gave me an empty can. The store was busy and she took the time to call for me. Her small act of taking the time to help was amazing. The store was busy and she relied on her staff while she helped me. Thank you so much.

All items stocked full on shelves. Very competitive & cheapest prices in town. Super helpful staff and plenty of them, thank you! Had the Easter ham I needed plus my allergy meds fully stocked. Super fast no wait self checkout, and staff was quick to check ID for wife's mimosa fixins'. Very clean store and organized!

Hands down Aryanna is the BEST at what she does! Very friendly, positive, and highly efficient. Very personable, but also professional. I cannot say enough about this girl! I truly hope her Mgr. Greg Armstrong or someone from the corporate office will read this so she may be recognized. Walmart is extremely lucky to have an employee such as herself and she truly made my shopping experience a 10! Thank you for going above and beyond girl! You deserve a raise 💸👍😀

I was blown away by how much this store has in stock—During this pandemic. Fresh meat plentiful, more available food than seen in any “Bullseye store” by far. Of course shortage of toilet paper but everywhere is. In addition to groceries, small selection in beauty supplies, greeting cards, even my favorite scented candles. Love that so many lanes are self checkouts, if you have a grocery cart full you’re able to use a regular register line rather than those small ones with little space to scan items and bag it.

I love the neighborhood Walmarts because they are smaller but still have everything you need and are looking for. They always have a nice sale going on and the associates are friendly and helpful. On the plus side you don't have to worry about spending extra on other stuff like clothes and accessories just on the food you need and occasional household supplies.

Very helpful employees, I injured myself and can not walk, the lady watching self checkout offered to ring my things up, bagged them, paid for me and put them back in the cart. A+ service

It is a Walmart so you know what you're getting into however this Walmart seems to be run very well it's clean the employees are fairly nice and helpful and I've never had a rude experience. Great prices in a good selection if you're getting food only forget going to a regular Walmart can come here.

I was so glad to find the speciality dog food (Blue adult large breed). They had only 1 bag left.

In and out. Super convenient. Very friendly staff, always kept clean and neat. Love the self-checkout registers. 24-hrs open. Parking is no problem.

Store manager ( Rajko ) is top notch & puts the 168th & Maple manager ( Greg Armstrong ) & assistant manager ( Zachary ) to shame! If you ever need to deal with management, you will be thankful to be shopping here at the Walmart Neighborhood store. This store is smaller & doesn't always have everything that the bigger store does, but they make it right for the customer - which says a lot. They are not as busy as the big store, making it a more pleasant shopping experience. I will travel here over the bigger store any day. Walmart Pharmacy --the staff (Tamela) was incredibly helpful and went way out of her way to try to find a medication for me before I left on vacation. She was so patient and called numerous stores. That is 5 Star customer service!

This is an extremely clean and well organized location. They have a copious amount of gift cards . They have a pharmacy and services like Western Union. They should have a few note personnel attending to the check lanes. They have a pretty good selection of both dry goods , cleaning supplies and personal grooming goods including over the counter pharmaceutical ; apothecary articles. It’s less of a cacophony of noise than a Super Center, not as much of a pandemonium and a classier more educated and affluent clientele , who would generally shop and expend their money at a Target, Trader Joe’s , Fresh Thyme, Hy Vee, WholeFoods. This was probably either supplemental procuring of groceries or to save time at a Sam’s Club or a Costco and portion modification and time management or one of the other aforementioned stores, a great amount of people now or electing to just have a common law marriage or travel a monumental amount for their careers or if they have children matriculating through undergraduate and or graduate school three hundred miles or more away or at least two high school age children , who are students, who drive , they just don’t purchase as many groceries , as they once did , unless the child or children are highly competitive on sports or academic teams, to not encourage peer’s friends and acquaintances to come munch at their homes. I.E. They don’t wish to be the hospitality wagon! Birch Street is lovely !

This is a good store to shop for groceries, though not as big a selection as the super store. I shop here quite often. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

A perfect place to go to get in and out for your groceries really fast!

The store is so clean and well-stocked. They have the best customer service and their check-out clerks are friendly a helpful.

Got 1st Shingrix shots today. Everyone was great. Stephanie the pharmacist was extremely wonderful. She is always so helpful and informative.

Next time I shop it will be Hy-Vee. I spent 61 dollars and two items rang up wrong. Hy-Vee has a price guarantee so these items would have been free. I had to stand I line a total of three times. One to buy groceries, another line for cigarettes, and another line for them to refund my money from the two over charged items. No thanks!!
