Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Southwest-La Vista

We’ve been here a few times in the last couple months traveling with our daughter’s team. The manager at night has been absolutely wonderful to us. I don’t think she was there for our first couple stays but she remembered us from 2 weeks ago when we checked in tonight and was fabulous at handling a never ending line of people for several hours. It’s been so long since we’ve received the special attention and care she’s given everyone on our team and we all wish every game we travel for could be in Omaha at your hotel. The rest of the staff is great as well, but the manager has been especially good to our team.

Convenient location, warm pool, good breakfast, quiet room. The woman at the front desk when we came in for a room later at night was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in getting us a nice room for our family, including my young daughter's desire to be on an upper floor. The woman at the front desk the next morning was also friendly and helpful in checking for a forgotten item for us and personally ran up to our room to look. Our family of four was all very pleased with our comfortable, convenient stay.

This is a very nice place with helpful staff. Great breakfast. Nice pool, but a bit chilly. It's really a great place to stay.

Great hotel stay. Located close to I80. Desk people were very friendly and accommodating with my floor request. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom very clean with all necessities provided. Only two towels though and if you need another (I need 2), available upon request. Shower had great pressure and temp. A/C worked great. They offer breakfast but we met our son elsewhere. Pet friendly with lots of grass for your pets. Great stay. Definitely would stay here again!

This was a great hotel. The staff was lovely, the rooms were clean and updated. The breakfast was good- they had blueberry waffles which the 9yo says are 5 stars. They had a self serve beer bar that you pay by the ounce. I didn't try it but I loved the idea. This place is super guest accommodating.

Stayed for a night while driving cross country, nice staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. Great location and reasonably priced.

What a nice hotel and staff. Our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and clean. The staff has also been great in assisting us with a lost, beloved "blankie" of my daughters. She was devastated when we arrived home without it. They put up with our calling to check their lost and found for multiple days, and when they found the blanket, they called us to let us know right away. My daughter was overjoyed, and we are so happy they cared and are shipping it back to us. Thank you for a positive experience!

Wow! I did not expect the hotel to be this nice! I had over 70 Hilton room nights last year and I normally don't write reviews, however, this is one time when the pictures on the website don't give it justice.

The hotel rooms have all been completely renovated and the pictures on the website (my expectation) were prior to the renovation. First time that I was pleasantly surprised and the rooms are PERFECT! Easily the best Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed, especially for the price. I spoke the management and they indicated that the website will be updated soon with pictures of the new rooms, until then, I took some for everyone to see.

The service was outstanding from the front desk, breakfast personnel to the housekeeping. The hotel is immaculately clean.

FIRST time I have ever seen an alcohol serving station where they have 5 local beers on tap and I think 4 different seltzers for the management reception, but you can buy a card and continue drinking into the evening after the reception is over. One of the coolest amenities for a hotel that I am guessing we will see everywhere.

This place aimed to serve and they did amazingly well Everything was great! Room was clean, breakfast was very good, pool was warm and customer service went above and beyond to make our stay great. We were there for 6 nights, and I would recommend to others.

The customer service here was amazing. From the front desk to the cleaning team and all of the breakfast staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating ‐ no easy task when you're hosting raucous kids' sports teams. We really had a great

The location is great! Rooms are spotless. The Staff should be given 10 STARS!!! The Front Office Manager, Karelle and Frances, Joe, & Madi. ALL need to be recognized as outstanding representatives not only of this Hotel, but the Hilton Brand. A definite STOP on our next trip through Omaha!

We've stayed here several times since my first review and every time we've had the best experience! The staff is so wonderful and you can tell the quality of your stay is made possible by a group effort! Check-in/check-out has always been so friendly and helpful, the rooms are really comfortable and the cleanest we've ever seen, the hot breakfast is always delicious (and not in the typical hotel breakfast way- like SINCERELY good!) Plus they try to have to-go bags packed in case you don't have time to stop and eat! They really go above and beyond. I’ve honestly never had a better experience at any other hotel, we travel frequently and anytime we're driving within an hour radius of Omaha we go out of our way to stay here! Honestly just top tier hospitality.

I have stayed at numerous Hilton properties during domestic and international trips. This is one of my very favorite ones. Here is why ;

On my first day when I checked in. I was welcomed by the front desk staff with a smile and warm reception. The staff member checking me in on June 20th 2022 when I checked in was Mike.

Mike was sure to give me a detailed update on what to expect with breakfast and offered me the option to get room keys or digital keys. My check in was seamless and fast.

The most important part of this all was to be provided the options by Mike of when I needed to have my room cleaned. This particular trip is a business trip for 11 nights. I was very intentional with my selection of where I wanted to stay because of how long my stay is. I read reviews on most of the Hilton properties in the area and settled on this one.

Everyday I come back to my room after a long day of work. My room is sparking clean, the bed is made with clean sheets every day. The trash is taken out and bathroom is restocked with supplies and clean towels.

The breakfast options are alright. I am not a big breakfast person. So I barely eat here. Only been once so far and their food was okay.

I have always had to call the front desk at other Hilton properties to ask for supplies, for trash to be taken out. I haven't had to worry about that at the LA Vista location. They do their jobs without the guest having to come back behind them to request for what's supposed to be basic service during your stay.

I will enjoy the rest of my stay and am confident in my review. Every morning I greet the front desk staff with a smile and thank them for making my stay with them pleasant.

On our way to the west coast and needed to stop and nap for a bit. Rooms very clean. Front desk lady very friendly and accommodating. No complaints.

Everything was great! Room was clean, breakfast was very good, and customer service went above and beyond to make my stay great. I was only in for 1 night, but I would recommend to others.

The room was very fresh. No odors or fragrances. Very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to many places to eat lunch/dinner. Safe area. Good breakfast. Miss the microwave in the room to heat my coffee. Our favorite place to stay in Lavista.

We stayed here last night, and it was a pleasant experience. The front desk staff was so friendly and cheerful! The room was spacious, clean, and everything worked properly. The breakfast this morning was delicious and well stocked. We came down around 9. Other places we have stayed would have been picked clean by that time. It was a full hotel, but we couldn't hear any noise from other guests, so we got a good nights sleep. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks again!

Service is excellent. Pool stays open late hours. Clean hotel rooms. There were kids running around and the staff was awesome. They had to clean up and do more work than they usually do I'm sure but they were up to the task. From the check in to the check out we were treated like kings and queens. It snowed this morning and they were out cleaning the sidewalks to keep us safe. One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Quiet rooms very pleasant will definitely be back.

My daughter got married a couple of weeks ago in the Omaha area. We are from out-of-state, so our side of the wedding needed more than 20 rooms for the weekend. I was so happy we chose this hotel! They really know how to give good customer service, even though they struggle with staffing issues like the rest of the country does right now. We dealt mostly with Michael and Chrissy over the weekend. They were both so pleasant and bent over backwards to help us when they could. Our room was very clean, the people working the breakfast area were very friendly and tried their best to keep things clean and stocked, and the location was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect place! Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Only suggestions would be to put at hot tub in the pool area.
