Six family members went here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was a wonderful dining experience. We were seated promptly as per our reservation time, and our orders were taken smoothly and with all the menu changes we requested. Very accommodating.

The food was delicious, fresh, and with generous portions. This is definitely a cut above most Chinese restaurants. I've read some negative reviews complaining about the service and food, and can definitely say that was the opposite of what we experienced. The barbecue spare ribs were among the best we've ever had, the shrimp were nice and fresh, and the steamed vegetables were perfectly prepared. The menu is extensive.

The tables were spaced far enough apart so we could hear ourselves talk and didn't feel crowded even though the restaurant was busy.

The restaurant is in a strip mall with lots of free parking, which is very convenient.

We definitely will return and recommend this place for excellent Chinese food. It's also a great place for lunch and takeout.

This is an excellent restaurant for large parties. The food is great and is presented very well, the service is very good. Highly recommend it.

My coworkers (10 total) and I went tonight to celebrate a birthday. We reserved a table that came with set dishes and set price. They brought out 7 appetizers, a soup, duck roll, at least 6 entrées and dessert. This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. Everything was so fresh and hot. Some great dishes included the filet mignon, seabass, duck and everyone loved the fresh veggies! The service was amazing. I think as soon as everyone got seated and served tea / water our appetizers came out in at least 15 minutes. Overall it was a great dining experience and for all the courses we got it came to after tip $63 a person. I’d recommend China Chalet to anyone especially those looking to have a one of a kind dinner with friends or family.

Great service and beautiful venue for some of the finest quality Chinese food I have eaten. Beautiful in preparation and presentation, fresh and delicious. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Very unique dishes you might otherwise find in NYC in Chinatown, but right here in Florham Park! Can't wait to come back!

Eaten here quite a few times and decided to takeout this time. As always the food was fresh and extremely flavorful. We ordered chicken fried rice, 3 pepper chicken, tofu with pork and beef chow fun. Each item was great.

The service is really good and the food came out incredibly fast. We got the lunch special that also comes with rice and soup. Great location with lots of parking. Perfect spot for a quick lunch during work.

Went with two friends who are from China and said this was their favorite place around. The Sichuan dumplings were outstanding and portions were generous.

This is one of the most authentic Sichuan style cuisine places in the Tri-state region. The owners and chef are all from Chengdu. They really brought out the Sichuan character in the food they serve. This is not my first time here and the food was as delicious as I remembered. I highly recommend here.

Amazing chinese food. Not too spicy for those who have a lower tolerance level for hot spicy foods. Such a great verity of foods too. AND priced reasonably. Highly recommend!

Got a couple recommendations to try this place out. Food is good and very spicy. Service was quick and the waiters gave great suggestions since it was our first time. I’d say my favorite was the 3 pepper chicken. Also, can’t find many places who make dry sautéed string beans as well as China Chalet. Think there’s only one other place I’ve been to that has been this good!

Wow! Eggplant in garlic sauce, homestyle tofu, noodles, scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings, sesame balls dessert. Just wow! Not too many veggie options but enough for to us come back again and again. Taste of the food was soooo good.

I have only ever ordered delivery from China Chalet. The food arrives fresh, hot, well-packaged, and quickly. There are very many menu options, and everything I've tried has been excellent.

It is not easy to find a Chinese restaurant that has such authentic Szechuan dishes and flavors-- especially if you don't live in a major city. My favorite dish is the 3 pepper chicken. The last time I've had these flavors was years ago when I visited China. Truly a special place to exist within delivery range of my home.

Chinese food here is what I call Chinese cuisine. If you like SPICY and TOFU then try their mince port spicy tofu.

Went in for lunch. Highly recommend it. Lunch specials $9.95 include soup, entree and rice. Choice of soup and rice and tons of entree choices. We had generals and chicken and broccoli. Both delicious. Atmosphere is very nice busy for lunch staff was very attentive. Definitely recommend.

Sweet & sour chicken and veggie dumplings are delicious. White meat chicken was tender and flavorful.

Came in for lunch today with my mother … the service was top notch food came out hot correct and tasty and fast the workers are like super diligent seems like they really enjoy working together .. the price was amazing the food was good and I over tipped by accident and they let me know … so I left it great place !!!!!

I Went for first time for dinner with my friend. Foods are yummy and we really enjoyed our meal. Food had great flavor. Place is very clean and service was nice. I will definitely return again to this place.

China Chalet has the freshest Chinese food I have ever had in NJ. It is absolutely delicious!

Food was amazing! Really quick service. Highly recommended but expensive.
