Jimmy provided the food for our family and friends after my husband's funeral. Everything was excellent. He went out of his way to accomodate us and made sure everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived from the funeral. Wonderful people to work with and prices were reasonable.

Great sandwich place. The staff here are very friendly. Every time I'm on Main St to get a haircut I stop in here and get my usual Turkey Club on toasted white, with provolone cheese. The sandwich huge, is so it's easily two meals for me.

I got a turkey sub from here for the first time and let me just say this is the BEST sub that I’ve had! They use Boars Head meat and cheese which I love, the bread had a nice crunch and was very fresh. The lettuce were shredded so beautifully, there was a lot of meat on the sandwich and the cheese was cut very nice. The customer service was very good and the environment gives a nice family vibe. Definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough about the quality, TASTE, and value of the food I have had from FBJ. I love the Trapper, and today switched gears to the Siemers Special. I've had my eye on this for a long time and now it's my new favorite! The roast pork reminded me of my grandmother's! Just know that these sandwiches are HUGE!!! Several meals worth for sure. Delivery is quick as well. I'm looking forward to trying many more items.

Love this place. This is my go to sandwich spot in the area. Always fresh bread, great cuts of meat, and creative. They also have "egg rolls" like cheesesteak and rueben which. Staff always friendly and food ready when they say it will. Big fan.

Pretty much how I envision a itialian deli and have always enjoyed their fresh ingredients they use to make their sandwich. Awesome family run deli!

We had the best lunch today! My husband orders us 2 chicken sandwich’s and they were amazing!!!!! And they give first responders a 10% discount! Amazing! We will definitely be back!!

Tried the potato croquettes today! Yummy, crispy on the outside, moist & flavorful inside. Light, but filling, great for under $5.

The moment you take a bite out of one of his subs, you are hooked. The Big G is my go to sub but sometimes, I like to mix it up and order a Luigi. His daily specials, soups and salads are equally as awesome as his sandwiches. Never a disappointment!

We were in the area today and looking for somewhere to have lunch, stopped in for a sandwich. I had the Rizzo and my friend had a Turkey sandwich. So delicious!!! The ricotta on the sandwich was my personal favorite.

The man behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. The egg rolls in the cabinet looked really good, will have to try those next time! We will definitely be back again!!

Thank you Fresco by Jimmy for an outstanding luncheon for the Metuchen School District. The boxed lunches were delicious and your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Delivering 325 sandwiches to 4 different locations was not easy but you did it flawlessly. Receiving a delivery of that size with 100% accuracy is amazing! Thank you!

Unfortunately, I somehow managed to not get any photos of the outstanding food that Jimmy and his team prepared for my wedding, so you’re going to have to take my word for it when I say it was PHENOMENAL. So many guests told my husband and I that it was not only the best wedding food they ever had, but that it was also some of the best food they had ever had PERIOD. I personally would agree with that sentiment 100%. Jimmy was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process- he was available, he made honest recommendations, and put together an incredible menu for us. He made the process so simple and the food was truly amazing, from appetizers to dinner to dessert. On top of nailing our event, I always stop by his restaurant when my husband and I are in town and the food never disappoints. Thank you guys so much for being so kind to us & helping to make our wedding so memorable! I/we truly can’t say enough positive things about this place.

My wife and I have been frequenting jimmy's for close to a year now.
His menu changes weekly, offering a variety of foods to please even the most discriminating palette. The superb taste and texture of every meal reflects the quality of ingredients he uses during preparation. Every meal is professionally and meticulously cooked on premises. And the portions are well sized.
As an owner, Jimmy is personable and friendly, as are his sister and entire staff. We've shared many interesting stories while waiting for our food. He also takes a sincere interest in your needs and comments. And he is well know for going out of his way to satisfy a customer.
We always feel comfortable walking through the door.
Our experiences have always been exceptionally pleasing. From meal to conversation, exemplary in every respect.

Amazing shop!

Delicious range of sandwiches salads and riceballs. Fair price and great people working there. Theres some seating outside otherwise its a grab and go place. Definitely recommend to everyone

This place makes great sandwiches that are a real treat to have, and the staff is friendly & professional. The sandwiches are packed with meat & cheese, and they never skimp on the quantity or quality of their ingredients. I like the Italian non-sandwich specialties they also have, like meatballs, etc, and sides. Been going here for a long time and they know what they're doing at this place, so I got my co-workers to start going too, and now they all rave about this place. Go there!! You won't be disappointed, and you'll be supporting a great local business in Metuchen.

Best deli shop I’ve ever been too! The food is delicious esp the chicken Cesar wrap, rice balls, and my favorite... chicken Parmesan egg rolls. Everyone was so welcoming and kind while i was there which I loved. I can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu !

I catered my 30th birthday party with Fresco and all the food was a hit! Buffalo chicken and cheese steak egg rolls to start, following by salads and delicious sandwiches. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend catering your next party with them, as they have so many options and will work with you on making everything exactly as you want it.

I stopped at the deli not thinking anything of it. I have been searching for a place that has good Italian meats/deli cuts. I was born and raised in Long Island and nothing comes close to the Italian deli that I grew up eating from and getting food from. A kind soul I met in the area recommended I try it out at Fresco. So I got a pound of Mortadella, and Prosciutto. I thought to myself let’s try it out. OMG! It’s tastes just like, if not even better, than what I grew up eating! I think I ate 1/4 pound of each in the car! Delicious! Thank You to the kind soul who recommended Fresco. Love, love, love, the meats!

My family and i stopped by this place and we were greeted by very friendly staff. Food was amazing and the details to the sandwiches were very thought out. The cook was super nice, portions were great. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you got. They gave us healthy homemade chips for the kids! Highly recommend this place.
