Clemenza's Original Brick Oven

Hunting Pizza in Essex County, NJ for the Pizza Hunters App presented with Speed. Joe was awesome as he was very friendly upon walking in and was more than happy to talk about their Pizza. In fact, he even shared that his grandmother brother was in the Godfather movie. I had their grandma Pizza which was an excellent slice. I loved the grated cheese that was a topper. The slice itself was a nice thin pie with a very tasty crust. It all blended very well. Could have used some more of their sauce, but overall it was very good. Parking can be a little tough around Millburn, but was told that the Pizzeria parking is around the back of the building. Can't wait to go back again soon.

First timer here. When I say I don’t usually do this, I don’t. This establishment is 5 star. To the staff, to how elegant and clean the place looks, the food? it’s really superb.

I had a speciality slice, it was excellent. the bread was fresh, the pizza wasn’t oily and it passed the fold rest. 5 stars.

The floors were clean, everything was organized and clearly posted. Even the glass was crystal clear (weird I know, but I notice these things) 5 star.

The staff? Man, the best guys I’ve met so far in a pizza place to date. These guys move fast, have a sense of humor and portrayed a great sense of professionalism. 5 star.

Crust is effing munchable, bro! Chew and snap. Sauce is just crushed tomatoes and I don't know what else but it taste like from Grandma Cuomo's Lasagna recipe. Meatball topping reminds me of getting gyro meat on a pizza, my favorite. Sicily, yeah? Great pie.

I noticed the Clemenza's delivery truck at my neighbor's house. We live near a competitor, so I figured it had to be:
1) They'd prefer to wait for a farther delivery.
2) They like "The Godfather" and think the name is cool.
or 3) The food is really good.

After a 2 day sample of the basic staples,
The Meat Lovers pizza was excellent (Big slices of meatball - awesome)
The Regular Cheese pizza stands up with great crust and flavor.
The Buffalo Chicken pizza is outstanding in flavor and gives argument for best Buffalo Chicken Pizza yet.
The Meatball Hero was cut in Thirds. I don't know if it's "the Power of 3 theory", but I just like that.
Buffalo Wings were very good too.

Keep it up Clemenza's. Everyone tries to knock down the champion.

Great little pizza place with an attached bar and grill restaurant. The pizza was excellent.

This place makes the best pizza I've had in years. The crust on all of the pizzas is outstanding--fluffy and crispy and doughy. The toppings can be quite exotic (if you so desire) and very tasty. I've tried the chicken marsala pizza, the fig pizza, and the BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza is truly barbequed. Delicious! To top it off, they have great customer service. The owner Robert goes out of his way to make sure his customers are satisfied and keep coming back. Very impressive.

We also had a slice of grandma's pizza , that was very good. We would recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Reasonable prices and large portions.

The other place is overrated. I love Clemenza because they have this savory garlicky taste that I love in authentic pizza. The staff is extremely nice and answer any questions you have. Also, that place had one of the nicest bathrooms I ever seen, lol. It smells beautiful. I love the ambiance of the place.

the food is very good. They have fairly priced lunch deals monday through friday. The staff is great and very freindly If you are ever visiting millburn come here for lunch.

Very delicious pizza I usually add sugar too my pizza but it didn't need it. The sauce was alright slightly sweet and very flavorful.

Place is fantastic. Has great food. I go once-twice a week, and they never fail to impress. Best food, best service in town. Highly recommend when looking for a place to eat

Gluten free pies are pretty good as are the regular. Wings are very good and quite big compared to other spots. Great for a night in.

Best coal fired pizza in the area (and the best I've had outside of New Haven). Great pasta dishes, good portions, and excellent service.

Great tasting pizza. Fresh and hot. Top choice in Millburn. Friendly host. We go there often.
