We recently brought a used car to Angelo for a pre-purchase inspection and couldn't be more impressed with the service we received. Booking an appointment was a breeze, and when we went to pick up the car, Angelo had a detailed report ready for us, outlining every aspect of the vehicle's condition.

What truly stood out was Angelo's passion and knowledge. It was evident that he genuinely cared about his work and ensuring that his customers made informed decisions. Not only did he provide us with a comprehensive report, but he also took the time to give us valuable pointers and was incredibly responsive to our questions.

My vehicle was recently repaired by AJ, who meticulously restored it to original spec. The way my car was damaged made it appear to be tricky to fix. But AJ brought it back to like new condition! Very happy and will definitely be using Pearl St Automotive in the future.

I started going to this Mechanic when I lived in edison in 2021. I continue to go to him but he is pretty amazing. When I originally went , he's one of the mechanics that kind of like had oil on his hands and wasn't sitting around a desk with a receptionist. He also gives each customer a small token at the end. Every suggestion that he gave me for my car has helped. And I think he just really likes fixing cars.I don't think he cares about the money which is refreshing so he won't upcharge or have you spend an arm or leg or Have you there for a million years waiting for your car to be fixed?He actually gives you practical advis.Practical advice and tells you your options even if it's not through him.
They don't make service like that anymore.

Took a used car here for a pre-purchase inspection. Call ahead to see if they have an open bay, and they'll give a super thorough evaluation of the car. We went for a test drive and Angelo was very helpful in answering any questions, and looking for any issues. Worth every penny, and got honest answers about the condition of the car.

This is a great place to take your car! The prices are more than fair and the service is wonderful, especially if you own a classic car. Your car is treated a valued possession that it is. AJ takes the time to talk to you about what he needs to do and what he subsequently finds. You really feel that you can make a personal connection.
I just got my car back from there for some rust repair on the hood and a repaint of the hood. His work is amazing! He matched the color perfectly and the paint finish is incredible. His prices are great and he is a great guy to deal with. I will always take my car there!

The owner, AJ, is very down to earth, fair, and reasonable. He explained what repairs were necessary and all the cost saving measures that would achieve the same end result with minimal to no impact on the final look of the product.

We got the car back today and it looked as good as new! The colors matched perfectly and the finish looks like it came right off the factory line. Furthermore, they cleaned the car inside and out.

AJ also took the time to explain a few things, pointing out items that we did not catch when we bought the car from the dealer. These were areas of suspected 'unreported' previous damage that the dealer likely quickly patched, repaired, and painted. Fortunately, those areas did not appear to be compromised structurally, but so very glad that this was brought to our attention!

AJ was fantastic. We needed a pre-purchase inspection for a used car, and he was very thorough in the inspection, while also patiently explaining each issue and its meaning. Given his feedback we were able to communicate with the lot and mitigate a few issues before the purchase, making the car safer.

I decided to give him a try and he is now my absolute go to mechanic. AJ the shop owner was friendly, professional and provided a quick turn around with both of my vehicles which he serviced. He comes with years of experience which was evident in how detailed he was throughout my interaction with him. He quoted me fair prices for the repair and showed me a level of service which seems scarce in this profession.
