Zion Lutheran Church

I have loved attending Zion over the last 7 years! They are a welcoming community that feels like family! We love the opportunities that have been afforded to us in regards to family ministry! It's wonderful that our child has a place to go during Bible study so we can focus on growing our faith. We love our Zion family!

I have so many wonderful things to say about Zion. I have grown up in this church and school and now I have the pleasure of raising my children here. I’ve seen growth, I’ve seen struggle, the highs, and the lows. In late 2022, I made the promise to get back into the church and find ways to be involved for myself and my kids. I wanted Zion to be our church home but I did feel something was missing. In either late 2022 or early 2023, a church-wide survey went out about starting a “Youngish Adult” Bible study for 18-40ish year olds (every age welcome!) and I poured my heart into this survey because THIS was what I wanted, but actually ended up NEEDING.

The Youngish Adult Bible study helped me grow as a Christian, a mom, a wife, and a friend and continues to help me everyday. I sit with other moms and dads, teachers at Zion, and members of the church who simply love me, love my kids, and want the best for everyone at the table. Pastor Brandon has done a remarkable job with growing and nurturing this group. We have a book club, we meet for fellowship meals and plan how we can actively support our church, school, and community, we have outings as adults and as families, and I’ve developed beautiful friendships because of this group. It has helped me feel more connected to the church and my entire family WANTS to go to church every Sunday, largely because of this group and their amazing Sunday School classes for the kids.

Zion is a wonderful and welcoming place! I have loved the connection I have felt to other young adults and families through the Youngish Adults group! We were blessed to get married, and baptize our son at Zion! Zion Lutheran Church feels like coming home!

Awesome church. It really is beautiful.

7 adult bible studies on a Sunday morning. A friendly room called Little Lambs for babies/toddlers to go while parents are in Sunday school and watched by a group of caring people. Very nice quiet nursery/changing room if baby needs to be rocked or not feeling well. Beautiful sanctuary where God’s word is preached. Coffee and donuts between services. Saturday evening service available for those who work on Sunday. Something for everyone.

Today was their 70th Annual Sausage Supper. They have this down to an art of getting you in and out without too long a wait. Always good and plenty to eat. Clean facilities, friendly parishioners helping out. I'm not a member of this church, but anyone interest in becoming one would surely be welcomed with open arms.

Awesome time for youth basketball!!!! Courts close to bleachers and on occasion your part of the action lol.

Just a great time, kids playing sports again and most of all popcorn. COVID precautions have them using the bag stuff for safety but the kettle will come back soon.

I was raised through this church from Pre-Scool on. It is a wonderful Church and School. I so miss Pastor Meyer though. I sure could use him right now.

My oldest is in 7th grade & has been there since PreK3. Also have a current 3rd grader & PreK4.....both also started as 3 yo's. This is a family & Christ centered school. Im grateful every day for this school and church.

My grandson goes to school here I have been very happy with it he loves his school he has went there the last two years he is always liked his teachers the after-school CARE program is wonderful 😊😊😊😊

My cousin got married there. It was a lovely ceremony.
