This place is a total gem! Food is excellent. And, the best of all, Larry the dining room waiter is better than excellent. He has mastered the art of serving. He does not just serve his customers he conducts a symphony of service. Everything is carefully choreographed to the liking of each table. Absolutely the best of the best old school ristorante. Cannot wait for our next visit!

First time stopping in and looking forward to going back! The staff was super nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I tried a plain pizza which was very good the garlic knots were perfect and they also sell zeppoles which came with a side of a caramel sauce. Very happy that I stopped in!

Charming, cozy, romantic dining room. Service is always excellent—especially if Larry is serving guests!—but more important, the food is excellent, always fresh and flavorful. Tonight’s bread, served with entres, was a delicious focaccia. Portions are generous and prices are low compared to so many other local restaurants that in reality offer so much less.
Gian Marco is a great place to enjoy a private, delicious, cozy meal—with wonderful ambiance, but without a lot of overpriced posturing and pretense.

I just tried the New Mexican wrap. This was delicious!! I can’t wait for Wednesday to order again!! I recommend anyone and everyone to try this wrap!!

As a group of 10, we had every course from appetizers to dessert. Every order was delicious and plentiful. Their appies of calamari and bruschetta were our favorite. They served their house and Cesear salad family style for us, so many tried both. Our group ordered seafood, pasta, veal and their special of short ribs. Every meal was spectacular with 1/2 eating every bit. The other half taking some home because it was too much to finish. Their zeppoles are the best, not greasy.
The staff is amazing. Gabby, our waitress, was the best.

Bottom line: great prices, good service, and delicious pizza! And its BYOB? Son...

Gluten line: very accommodating, we usually order our gluten free pies from here for delivery. In location just as accommodating.

Long line: very happy to have this place nearby. We routinely order delivery from here and have not been disappointed, and finally made it to eat in. Place is intimate and friendly, prices are fair, and the food did not disappoint. Highly recommend it if in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite places. Have never had a bad or mediocre meal here. Always excellent. The Zeppolis are amazing.

My favorite local pizzeria! Staff is super friendly. The grandma pizza is the best in NJ. Other favorites include the gnocchi bolognese, ballerina salad, and the wings. They also sell the best fresh pizza dough if you want to make your own pie at home.

Had the chop salad to start. Excellent...served chilled and prepared overloaded with salami and pepperoni. So good! Main course was Veal parmigian and ziti. Huge portions took 2/3rd home. It was delicious. For dessert Apple crumb pie nicely served warm and outstanding. Service was great as well. An enjoyable dining experience!😋👍

This is our kind of place in every way. Started with a nice salad, followed by delicious entrées , seasoned to perfection. I had the Gnocchi Bolognese and he had the Veal Pizzaiolo. Fantastic, professional and friendly service, small but nice dining room (behind the pizza part) and Frank Sinatra-era songs playing in the background. BYOB and good pricing put this on our short list of favorites in the area. Thank you, Gian Marco!

My wife and I have been ordering in from Gian Marco Trattoria for the better part of a decade! It is our go-to place for pizza delivery, and we have always found their pizza to be fresh, hot, and delicious. Other favorites include calamari fritti, chicken cutlet parmigiana (sub or entree), penne arrabiata (genuinely spicy!), pasta with homemade meatballs, and shrimp fra diavolo (also spicy!).

I recently had the pleasure of dining in at the restaurant, and had a nice experience. The dining room is quiet, tastefully decorated (cloth tablecloths, subdued lighting) and comfortable, and the tables are well spaced. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff seem happy to be there. It's BYOB, which is nice too.

Amazing restaurant, 10/10 would recommend.

Walking down the street, we caught the aromas half a block away, the service was IMPECCABLE, the menu for casual and finer dinning is very well rounded.
We were in for a quick bite, we had the Chicken Parmesan and Philly Steak sandwiches.... both were incredibly delicious... the Garlic Bread served when seated could have been our meal all night.
I owned a Pizzeria in Las Vegas on Las Vegas Boulevard... and was extremely satisfied with all facets of our meal.
I wish we were visiting longer so we could enjoy this Trattoria more often.

I work in the area. My office receives a daily fax from Gian Marco with their lunch specials. So, to take a break from the usual places we order from we decided to give them a try. Best decision I'll make today.

I had the creamy Tuscan sausage pasta - it was delicious. Just the right amount of everything. Even better than I hoped.

Co-workers got the Gian Marco wrap and the New Yorker. They both got rave reviews.

Our delivery was prompt and everything was packaged well. Oh, and when I called in the order... the order taker had awesome customer service. We will absolutely order again!

We've been customers of GianMarco for years!!! Our favorite go to pizza for delivery/take out and always enjoyable dining in on some Italian specialty dishes as well. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this trattoria out. Charming outdoor eating area (seasonal). Cozy indoor ambiance for dining in or an couple of booths if you're looking to grab a quick slice or two. We moved out of the area, buy when visiting family, we often make this one of our stops. 🍕

We've had lunch here and dinner here., both in the dining room in the rear. Both were excellent. I was particularly impressed with lunch (I photographed the lunch menu). There were lots of delicious sounding choices and the two my friend and I chose were yummy. The portions were plentiful and prices very reasonable. There were only a few people in the dining room, so the noise level was minimal which enabled us to have a pleasant conversation. This would be a first choice if I were dining in the neighborhood and I was disappointed to see that they ae open 11am- 10pm Mon-Sat but not until 4pm on Sunday

I've been here about 5 times over the last two months and each time trying something different off the menu. Everything is fantastic so far...I think their Marinara sauce might be their hidden secret. I'm definitely going to be a new regular and the staff has been outstanding as well.

Fantastic service and delicious vegan pizzas too! Couldn’t recommend them enough!
